description; Kumogakure’s seldom food cache is making the Raikage look for other various resolutions on accumulating food for the hungry citizens of Kumogakure no Sato. One solution the Raikage has exposed is providing the shinobi with fun while being capable. The mission is simple, capture four fish for Kumogakure’s food supply.

Noboru has taken on a simple mission for today, though it seemed more like a chore. There wasn't much of anything to do around here especially with his friends off on their own missions and what not. Nobu had taken up a mission and was now setting out after getting the approval from the Kage. After leaving the kage's place Noboru set out back to his place to get some things that would make the task more easier. Though, fishing for four fish wasn't all that big of a deal. He wondered if he caught more if he would get more reward for doing the mission. Bringing with him a basket to carry the fish back in, he set out for the nearest water source that was located outside of the village but from his knowledge wasn't all that far out.

Basket on his back, he walked through the gates of the hidden village. The cool breeze of the day washing past his figure as he was the only one walking out of the village. He walked down the path that led away from the village, he had walked around the area surrounding the village a lot but he was having a bit of trouble figuring out the location of a water source. After awhile of walking, he decided to go off of the pathway and make his trek through the terrain without any set path to follow. Perhaps by going off path he would have a better chance of coming across a water source such as a stream or a pond. It would have been some ways to the coastline that marked the rest of the lightning country.

Yawning, Noboru continued to be bored. He threw his hands up into the air some. "Uuh man," he mumbled, rubbing the back of his head. He had been walking for a good half hour or longer. He began to wonder if he would ever come across a place to fish. He stopped and looked around, scoping his surroundings out. He began to wonder what sort of things would indicate a water source; one thing he knew was that he would surely be able to hear the running water. He knelled down some, placing his hand on the ground in front of him. He patted it some and then placed his ear to the ground. Remaining silent, he listened. He frowned slightly, he heard nothing.

Standing up again he looked around again, then up at the blue almost cloudless sky. Raising his hand as the sun glared at him. He just glared back. He would persevere though. He placed his hands behind his head again and continued forward, ever so casually. Carelessly almost. He began to whistle to myself, it was much too quiet. Especially when one was by themselves with no friends to hang out with. But, that meant that he could be lazy with no one to show off too or no one to push him to do things. He would take this mission one, slow step at a time. First he needed to find a water source...

..However, as he spotted a tree up ahead he needed to get out of the sun and catch his bearings some. He set his things against the tree and then sat down himself. He leaned against the tree and next thing he knew he was fast asleep.

Eyes opened to greet the sun again, blinking a few times to sweep the sleepiness from his eyes Noboru looked around. He had set off pretty early so it was probably about mid-day by now. He wasn't sure how long he had been asleep but he had no time to digress. He needed to get this mission over with. He was probably just about the most laziest in his team but he could also be an over achiever if he set his mind and heart to it. But, something needed to get him motivated. Today however he would have to try and motivate himself..so what was one to do? Well, he would just have to think of all ramen and noodles he could by, though he didn't really fancy ramen. He hiked the basket onto his shoulders and moved out, looking around he spotted a hill. There was always something over the hill wasn't there? He would just have to try it.

He walked for a awhile, a bit of the time was up hill and he had to move left and right every so often to move around obstacles that were in his way. He finally was coming to the top of the hill and as he stepped on top he looked around. A grin spread across his face. There was a large stream that would probably eventually run into a larger water source. He decided to follow it. The water was pretty fresh so before he walked along it he decided to refresh himself and fill up his own bottle. Once he had cooled off and refreshed himself he set off down the stream. He could see a few small fish, but nothing big enough to help the food source in the village. He walked awhile, about half the time it took to get to the stream and he came across a pond that the stream ran into.

"Aaah, yeah! Finally," he chimmed.

Before he would begin fishing he would take a five to ten minute break. He sat at the edge of the pond, watching the fish swim around. There were decent sized fish here, though probably not as big as the ones one might find in the sea.

Nobo let out a huge sigh as he stood up. He took off his shoes and rolled his pants up. He set the basket at the edge of the pond and then grabbed some of his kunai from his pack. He wasn't sure which way he should try and catch them. But, since he didn't feel like overworking himself he decided to not try and catch them himself, instead he would wait for the right moment and then throw a kunai into the water.

He waddled into the water, just enough so the water reached up to about knee level. He stood there for a bit, watching as the fish swam a few feet from him. He remained still, waiting for them. Finally one decided to come closer and he watched it, silently. Kunai in hand he waited for the right moment, the right second to throw his kunai. A few seconds later the moment struck and as quickly as he could he threw it into the water. It sunk into the depths of the water. The fish scurried away as the kunai hit the bottom of the pond. Nobo frowned. However, it was a close shot. He would just have to try again, and again until he caught four fish.

Nobo continued this endeaver for a bit, he had caught his first fish after two times of trying and retrieving his kunai from the depths of the water. It was basically all about waiting, having patients and waiting for the exact, right moment. It didn't take him long to catch another, about one third of the time that it took to get the first one. However, the last two were relatively easy once he got the technique down. It was a bit repetitive because he had to wait, look for the right moment and then strike. If he missed he would have to retrieve his kunai and try again. The fish were around normal sized, but some were larger or smaller than the others. But, they would suffice..he hoped. And, if others also got missions like this then they would have an abundant ration of food.

After placing the last fish into the basket, Nobo looked around. This was a pretty nice place. It was a wonder no one else was here or that he hadn't come across it before. He looked at the sky and then at the sun, judging the time. He probably had enough time to get back, turn the fish in and go and catch dinner (figuratively of course, after all this work he wouldn't want to go and catch his own dinner). For now he figured he had enough time to take a small break and then he would head back. He sat on the ground near the pond and then leaned back against the ground, looking up at the sky. He closed eyes, sighing as he leaned back.

However, this time he didn't fall asleep. He opened his eyes again and stared up at the sky. He was wondering where his team was; they should be back soon. However, he wouldn't worry. He knew they could carry and take care of themselves, he just wished they had taken him along. It was however, nice to have time to himself and relax, though he always seemed to relax and be lazy. But, that was just how he was. A good ten to fifteen minutes later he decided to get up. He gathered his things together and made sure he had retrieved all of his kunai and then washed them off. He dried them off with his shirt and put them back in his pouch.

He checked the basket again to make sure he had four fish. They were all there. Though, he could have probably caught bigger, there weren't any relatively larger ones here. Putting the basket on his shoulders again he began to head back to the village.

It didn't take him that long to get back to the path from the stream and he headed back to the village from there. By the time he got back, it was nearing sunset. Perfect time to go and grab a bite to eat and watch the sun go down beyond the horizon. He had the perfect spot to watch it from; a rooftop. But, first he headed to the kage's building to turn in the fish he had caught.
