She looked almost as if she would be an invaluable partner in the future and before he could say anything more, she stopped him in his tracks with a genuine offer. She wanted to venture further around the festival and it became nearly impossible for him to deny her request. He too, wanted to see more of the lavish sights and would only nod at her in approval.

The sound of chop sticks and silverware slammed and rang against bowls and plates as Kakuzu the most powerful Akegarasu in all of Kumogakure not only ate but ravened, and devoured roman noodles, shrimp and sushi. It was as if his very stomach was a bottomless pit used as a space to casually dispose of foods. Plate after plate they stacked up, the mountain plates had reached well his face as he scraped the solid foods into his mouth. My god had he even been swallowing, what in the hell could enable a man such as this to ingest foods at this rate without faltering, it was amazing indeed. The chefs seemed worried as their gazes met the plate that hovered in front of the man's face with his eye brows furrowed in shock, perhaps even fear. Utterly inebriated, Kakuzu's slammed his plate down as the food disappeared, not even a single fluid nor string from the noddles remained; it seemed that he licked the bowel clean almost as if it had been washed by the gods of cleanliness.

"More Please!" Kakuzu requested with a bright, drunken smile that lit across his face, the chef leaned forward, pointing his finger at the man."H-How a-are you able to eat like that.", The genin chuckled as his shoulders arose in a shrugged manner, "Hehe, I don't know actually, I just eat." Hell, the chef's capacity of food constantly dropped each and every time Kakuzu's presence came to bear as this mans shop. He was reluctant to serve him anything, however, he had no choice. Although he ate massive amounts of food he paid for each and every meal that she purchased.

The ringing of a glass bowel slamming against another sung a melodic note into Kakuzu's ears, ocean blue eyes gazed upon the bowel of sushi and chicken flavored noodles before they lit up in glory. "This is I will never be able to stop eating here." He cried out in joy as she then commenced to savagely murder his bowl of noodles as if it were an heaven itself.

As I sat peacfully slurping up the murky brown water that's flavor was ever so tantalizing, I couldn't help but notice the rather, bothersome man that was located two my left, two seats away. At first, I tried and remain indifferent, noticing his sloppy eating and loud slurping. Eventually, I could no longer stand for the delibarate molestation of my ears and eyes by his disgusting acts of defiance to everything that his parents should have taught him about proper table mannerism So, I simply decided to express my feelings. Without a second thought, I would open my mouth and spew out a jet of slanderous words towards the man, with complete disregard of everyone around me. Oh how hypocritical I was. "See, Sakaki, I told you that you'd like it," came a voice that little Sakaki barely heard. As her and her older friend, Niji, strolled through the main streets, the small kunoichi's eyes would light up at the sights. So many sounds, smells, shapes, and colors flashed before her eyes. The festival was on a completely different level than what she'd thought it would be.

Music from every angle, the shouts of all manners of people. The entire atmosphere was breathtaking, and... for little Sakaki, it would even become a bit overwhelming. A man suddenly stuck his head out from his booth and yelled right next to Sakaki's ear. She shrieked, and quickly hid behind Niji. This caused the man to laugh, a big, booming laugh.

"Hey there, little missy! This yung'in yours, or you out babysittin' for mama tonight?" His speech seemed directed at Niji, and it took her a moment to realize it. Sakaki just blinked and watched in amazement as Niji's face flushed, and her disposition altered. Then she began to cower all the more...

"ARE YOU CALLING ME OLD?! I OUGHT TO KILL YOU WHERE YOU STAND, MISTER! YOU NEED TO LEARN SOME RESPECT! COME ON, SAKAKI!" Even as she was finishing her yelling, Niji began to storm off. Sakaki stood, dumbfounded by the sudden outburst, not quite understanding what it was all about. Clearly the man didn't, either, because he just stood there, looking just as bewildered as Sakaki.

It didn't take long for Sakaki to snap out of her stupor and go rushing after her friend, however. A corner later, and she found herself colliding with someone's mid-section. She bounced off, and was deposited into the dirt, a small squeak issuing from her mouth.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow," she muttered quietly...

With time patiently waning the shinobi found it time to move out. He felt the urge to go complete some missions for his nation, and that was exactly what he planned to do.

First glance would have suggested an arrogant ignoring the chafed man as no reply came to bear in the seconds to pass, well, nothing more than the incessant collision of chop sticks and bowls. It could have easily been seen it as that, however, such was not the case, the man was merely drawn in thought and overwhelmed as if his very being transcended into the blissful realm known as Nirvana. Although it made have seemed so, the annoyed mans words had not gone unheeded, in fact they'd be already processed within the confines of Kakuzu's sub-conscious.

Upon finishing his bowl of edible heaven a confused gaze contrived itself to his right, glancing over the mans form as slideshows of words began to flicker within his head. "You know...Its not very to disturbed someone while they are eating and enjoying themselves. Honestly, I'm quite impressed that you can hear me eat over the festivals might. He reached forward whilst cupping his drink, he sipped lightly as he began to speak once more. "Stop being so negative, its not often one gets to eat like a god. Besides, I'll need all the strength I need to represent Kumogakure for the chuunin exams. A light chortle escaped his lips as he sipped his drink once more.

It was not hard to imagine that the Kuinkarasu thought herself above such silly events as these. Emerald oculi roamed the unfamiliar faces mulling about in the crowd, disgust accumulating in her expression with each passing moment. She may have gagged, if her lips were not currently occupied with molding around a straw; the thick, fruit-flavored liquid that she drew into her mouth was enough to staunch her wish to kill them all.

"Nyaah," she sighed, the straw released with a quiet pop. The strawberry smoothie was almost gone, and currently she did not have the will to cross the avenue to get another one. Instead, Nanashi curled her Kiri-oni clawed hand tighter around the glass, resting it upon her thigh. This was more comfortable than holding it, perched upon a bench with her legs crossed as she currently was. Waiting for company was a pain in the butt at best, but if Sensei said he was going to be here, well ... she would give him five more minutes. Five!

Unsurprisingly, the male was not too fond of the company the village housed. Drunken, foolish teenagers likely littered the nearby streets, the mere thought of all the fat, undisciplined children bringing scowl to his usually straight face. But it was a necessary weight to bare, though the filth and alcohol made him uncomfortable, he kept his eyes focused, not even daring to look at the trash that littered the nearby paths.

''Hmph, there's my little ray of sunshine."

Was all that was muttered as the male soon approached the female, her body language leading him to believe she was 'disgruntled' or at least not very pleased with his date keeping. Pinching the money from his pocket, he dropped the large sum of dosh into her large glass, 10,000 ryo, to be exact. ''There's your allowance, cupcake. Don't spend it all at once." spoke the lanky man, his large form resting on the bench beside her.

''I hope you've stayed away from alcohol, like I asked." he mused with a motion towards the nearby street, a skinny, drunken teenager stumbling and vomiting on the street. ''Have you spotted anyone..shifty? Nefarious? I feel like these idiots need a positive influence tonight."

Nanashi did not look up, even when the ryo sloshed into her cup, which was thankfully empty enough not to splatter any of the sugary mixture over the edge. Eventually, glossed lips tugged into a smile and she lifted that hand to allow for another sip, heedless of the coins tainting her otherwise perfect drink. "Wouldn't it be more prudent to spend it all at one time, Sensei? Quality blades are—" she paused, finally glancing down at the sum he coiffured for her. It took a moment of eyeballing the gold pieces, but then she sighed out, "—far more than ten-thousand ryo, after all."

Shoulders rolled, helping to loosen her tensed muscles as she finally turned her attention on the samurai. Tongue slid out, answering his inquiry about alcohol with a lick of the lips, which were by this time thoroughly flavored by the smoothie. The Akegarasu's smile widened into a sly grin. Hasu was always fun to tease, but he should know her well enough to realize she had no interest in any alcoholic beverages. They could only provide a hazing of the mind; she required none of that.

"I did see one man that looked rather suspicious, to be honest with you. He was pestering me, and he was definitely a lot older than me, too. Creepy, right?" Lashes fluttered, disturbed by the movement of her clawed left hand as it lifted. Fingers curled until only her index finger was extended, prepped for a quick prod of his chest. No worries! It was not hard enough to cause the poor man any damage. "The man in question had really green hair, and I thiiiiiink his name ... miiiiight have been Hasu."

Cue a giggle.

With but a single movement, he slid from the bench and unsheathed his blade, the blunt side of his katana smacking her clawed finger away, his reflex was strictly disciplinary and wouldn't likely cause her harm beyond minor stinging. This is what he intended, at least. ''Well, as much as I'd love to sit here and listen to your hi-larious jokes, I've got business to attend, kiddo. Wait here a second, hm?" He followed the question with a pat on her shin with Spectiva, his hand holding his 'girl' with a rare affection

''Yes, I know she's a card, darling. But she's a good enough student~"

He groaned to his blade upon leaving the bench, his slender fingers sliding his 'lover' back into her sheath, the clack of his hilt purposefully loud, his attempt at warning any of the nearby hooligans to his temperament. ''He better of followed those instructions properly." He whispered inside of his cluttered brain, his usually steely focus being stained by the passing noise; his swift stride quickly bringing him over to the small, closed up shop he advised his 'employer' to meet him by.

Curious eyes wandered the patrons of the immediate vicinity as Sohjin made his entrance, steadily searching for a particularly odd head of hair. There was something about this atmosphere that seemed relaxing, and yet he had to be on his best behavior...or suffer another near death experience by way of blade. Grimacing slightly, he was beginning to wonder if it was a good idea to have come here on impulse. No doubt, he who had summoned him would have plans for his presence.

"Aha!" he shouted.

As if on cue, a huge smile graced his features. Hasu hadn't changed much, save for the hope of a little leniency when it came to letting him have his fun. Approaching with a brusque walk, Sohjin bowed deeply and placed his arms at his side. "I'm here, Hasu-sama. What's with the bird show at my door? Didn't want my father to question your methods of teaching again?" he joked. Samanosuke had always preferred hand to hand combat over a blade - clearly, Hasu's swordsmanship was a painfully clear objection.

The Genin pushed his locks away from his face as he stood to full height once more, a calm wind allowing his unkempt bangs to sway slightly.
