The Young Kumogakure Genin approached a small convenience store. It was one of the very few remaining after the attack. His mission was simple, deliver a large box filled with medical supplies to the local hospital. & although it was a simple and boring mission, it was his first and he needed to make a great first impression.
As he entered the shop, a young man; in his twenties approached the counter. He gave a cheerful smile as he waved at Yoshio. Looking around the small shop, you could see that everything was organized, the shelves were neatly stacked and the scent was fresh. You begin to notice these things after living in a dump your whole life.
“Ahh Yes, you must be the Kumogakure Shinobi that will deliver these down to the hospital for me. After the Lightning strike, being the only shop in this district has become quite tiresome. I rarely have time to go anywhere anymore because of the constant customers. Lucky for me I live in a strong nation with, great young Shinobi like you.”
The man reached down below the counter and brought out a medium sized box. He gently rested it on the table and briefly described what was inside. The Hospital had been running low on supplies and made a special request to his shop a few days earlier. It wasn’t any surprise considering the current state of Kumogakure.
“He He He . . You just leave it to me; I’ll get those down to the Hospital in no time.”
The man was kind enough to ask Yoshio for his name before he left the shop. The Genin felt highly as ever as he uttered it out and sprinted down the street with the taped box in his hands. Though he didn’t like many of the commoners in the village, that man seemed different. He had a great persona that just drew Yoshio in & for once he felt like he was respected.
Arriving at the hospital only 10 minutes after departing from the convenient store felt like a great accomplishment considering the boy was still a little stiff on his feet. The citizens of Kumogakure should be grateful that the Hospital wasn’t caught in the impact zone. The structure was clean & clear. The boy brought the box to one of the Medical Nin’s & slowly exited after a cheerful “Your Welcome!”
The first assignment handed to him, & a major step on his path to greatness. The Young Shinobi had a lot more motivation and determination to continue on this route until his big promotion.
“All In A Good Days Work!”
