appearance: The most unique thing about the man's hair is its naturally green color; no hair dyes of any sort are used to achieve the color and many a person has inquired at the sort of parent that would have given birth to someone with green hair. Either way, the man often styles it with the center of the hair standing straight up in a point, giving the appearance of a horn, with the sides of the hair falling about misshapen and disheveled. He is of moderate height, not exactly tall but neither not exactly short, with a thin frame that belies the musculature of his body. Masuerta's eyes, just like his hair, are a vibrant green color. When different moods strike him, his eyes can shift through different colors of green: for example, when excited, his eyes can be a bright green, while sad they are a somber sea green, when angry they are a dark green, and when anxious they are a pale green.
He prefers to keep his nails long, letting them extend outwards of almost an inch and a half. He files them all consistently down to a sharp point, so that they may be used in combat to either scratch or stab with high efficiency. His ears also appear slightly fae, with sides that jut out and end with a point instead of the standard circular ears of a human. His teeth have also been filed down so that, when he smiles, they appear monstrous, pointy, and sharp. Other than that, he has pale skin and it tends to remain so, never really tanning when out in the sun unless he spends a significant amount of time outside without any kind of cover (unlikely, since he enjoys his skin tone).
apparel: Ah, what to say about Masuerta's dress? Imagine someone interested in both insane, feral combat and high fashion, without concern if the wardrobe gets battered. That would be how Masuerta would be seen garbed, with black, dark red, and dark green blazers tattered to shreds at the tail, button-up shirts of a variety of colors covered by vests, usually of a cream or golden color, and ties strung loosely about his neck in a variety of different colors. For pants, he often wears either slacks with a black and white polka dot design, or else a combination of spandex of varying colors covered by shorts that stop above the knees, also of varying color although also often polka dotted. He always wears a white belt with a silver skull and crossbones as a buckle. He keeps a weapons pouch on his right hip, and either carries his sword hooked to his belt on the left-hand side, or else hanging from his back, the grip jutting out diagonally past his left shoulder. He almost always wears heavy leather shin-high boots.

personality: To say that Masuerta is unpredictable would be an understatement. Without a doubt, the man does many things that most 'normal' people wouldn't. He finds great enjoyment in teasing, practical jokes, and general tomfoolery. He is also quick to anger should someone insult him or his eccentricity, and absolutely detests anyone who makes fun of him using a food-related, vegetable joke (broccoli, green bean, etc.). He loves to fight, and will often attempt to get others to battle with him, even when they've expressed no interest in it - of course, meaning that he will attack people at random for no reason just to force them to defend themselves against his attacks. He does not do it out of evil or malicious intent, and thus is not classified as evil; he simply seeks the thrill of combat whenever he can.
If he begins to lose a fight, his facial expressions will begin to change from the look of pure enjoyment into concentration. If, after concentrating, he is really losing a fight, he gets agitated and frustrated, and can often begin making big mistakes and overextending himself. If there is no chance of victory, Masuerta will try to make an escape.
He has a lot of natural talent at reading the emotional atmosphere around people, enhanced greatly by his excellent control over Sensory Ninjutsu. When people are not in a good mood, that is when he is most likely to perform one of his infamous pranks to try to lighten the person's day - often, this fails miserably and ends with the person being incredibly angry towards Masuerta.
He is also chronically addicted to sweet things - candy, baked goods, sodas, juices, honey, and sweet fruits. You name it, he likes it. You will often find him eating suckers, gobstoppers, or hard candy, which he prefers to enjoy because they last longer than other forms of sweets. If you want to get on his good side and make him very pleased with you, simply bring him something delicious and all will be well. He doesn't eat very much of anything besides sweets, and many people around the village question how he keeps his figure.
