These fat bodied, slimy creatures come in various sizes and colours, some even have shells on their backs. These shells come in all different shapes and forms, with intricate patterns plastering their structures. Small holes lie in the middle of their chubby heads, made for sucking and spitting.As well as this, small teeth like protrusions and long tongues can be found tucked inside the beasts mouth, to be used for non-lethal attacks. As the great beasts move about slime from their greased bodies becomes slathered all over the earth, sticky and hard to wash away, their unnaturally large size only increases the thickness and bulk of the slime excretion. Great antennae protrude above its head, and two smaller ones just above the mouth - used for sensory abilities like seeing and hearing.

The gastropods hail from the Gaikō no ichizoku; roughly translating as ' family of diplomats ', and as such they live up to their name to be just that - diplomats. They frequently push themselves into being mature, calm and collective individuals, which are all key principals in maintaining order among the clan, and ensuring emotions don't get the better of the beasts. Some of the slugs are better at keeping closely to these principals than others, but even then the more outspoken summons in the family are; by any outsiders standards, still just as friendly and civil as the others.

The Slugs do not affiliate themselves with countries outside that in which their realm is located, finding most humans and other creatures dangerous or offensive to the peaceful behavior which they have poured their faith into for so long. The family; although small, has a close bond. Its members are fiercely loyal to one another, to the point that they would valiantly defend their loved ones until their last breath struck. The slugs would avoid battle as far as possible, and most of their power comes from their incredible defensive techniques and stamina, rather than offense, though this great longevity makes them incredibly difficult to kill.

the history; just keep sliming

The gastropod family originated around 200 years ago as hundreds of different families scattered all across the shinobi world. The slugs and snails knew of each others existence but didn't care much for conversing. However, as summers were getting hotter and their homes were getting drier the slugs and snails had to find a new home - a damp, dark location, where the sun wouldn't constantly pose the threat of drying them up and killing them consequently. That is where the gastropod families found Shikkotsurin.

Rumors of a dark realm, filled with all sorts of creepy crawlies and bone forests moved from family to family, and quickly the gastropod attempted to access the realm they had heard so much of. However it was to no avail, for their path had been blocked by a strange energy barrier. It seemed only organisms imbued with mystical energy could enter the realm. The slugs were puzzled, and went on a search to find answers. Months went by, and the slugs had found nothing; the snails resorted to asking for human help - a herbalist woman who was also a skilled witch, and who excelled in slug and snail magic. She made a compromise with the families, in return for several scores of slug and snails in which she could use for potions, she would give them the key to accessing the bone forest. The families were outraged at her offer, and although it was tempting to be allowed into this new realm, they refused to give up their spouses and siblings.

The witch, who was shocked that the offer had been refused, grew enraged, and in revenge for the slugs abandoning her generous offer, she laid a curse on all of the family, before disappearing into a goop of thick slime, never to be seen by any of the animals again. The curse she had left quickly killed off the families, dozens and dozens died every week, it was a mass murder which they had no idea how to stop. As years went by, and a cure having still not been formulated, the slugs and snails decided it was hopeless, there was only so long before the entire species was gone. However, one sharp slug was quick to realize that the witch had not infected the creatures with any sort of disease, instead she had simply used her magic in order to slowly kill them, she had unintentionally granted them access to the bone forest - they were all imbued with magical energy.

As higher ups of the family were informed of the witches poorly executed plan, they rejoiced and began to ponder the matter of just how to get into Shikkotsurin. They approached the area where the witch had disappeared so many years ago, and as they inspected the exact area in which she had dissolved, they found themselves being stripped of their magic, and for reasons that no one to this day could explain, the barrier that had once surrounded the bone forest vanished! With the magic inside their bodies gone, the remaining creatures became healthy and happy once more. There were only a few dozen creatures left by this stage, and over the years more and more left to explore other realms and some even went back to homes they since abandoned. Currently, 5 creatures remain, the leader is Megami, the child of previous leaders, and powerful, well known creatures fill up the ranks of the Gaikō no ichizoku.

the relationships; sliming up the social ladder

The Animals don't like to relate themselves with anyone outside of Shikkotsurin, especially humans. Until they can find faith in something, or someone else, outside of their realm, they trust only themselves. The only way one would go about talking with these summons is if they were to sign a blood contract with the family, but even then, only a select few are capable of doing so.

The gastropods fear creatures with fast moving bodies and wide open mouths - especially snakes. Some snakes have grown large enough to the point that they can swallow creatures like slugs whole.

Personality

Chisana is a shy young slug, she spends her days crawling about her realm, however is only allowed to travel as far as her elders allow her. The slug is rather sweet to those who speak with her, even if they aren't necessarily nice to her. Due to her young age, she struggles to differentiate between friend and foe, and thus she relies on her summoners and superiors a lot when meeting strangers or seeking advice and guidance. Chisana isn't much of a battler, she can be used as an effective scout, however.

Appearance

Chisana is fairly small, 50 centimeters in length, and 20 centimeters tall when she raises her head into the air. Her under-body is a very light pink shade, while her back is a hot red with deeper shaded spot patterns plastering it. She has four small antennae protruding from her head and a small mouth centered on her face. Her body is slippery and cold to touch, being covered in coatings of slime.

History

Chisana was born under Mushi, a once well known and powerful member of the Gaikō no ichizoku, she was trained in the traditional Slug arts, how to form powerful natural defenses and escape the binds of predators. Her small size and subtle movements in combat means she excels as a scout. Chisana tries to develop her battle skills, but often becomes lost in thought and goes on walks to clear her mind.

Personality

Daishuzo was once a member of the Gaikō no ichizoku's Sheru kyōdai (literally; Shell brothers). His brothers were killed a number of years ago, however, and thus the title has been long since abandoned. Daishuzo doesn't think very rationally in or out of combat, and is known to jump into situations that he should take more care with, he isn't overly skilled in following the generic customs of the clan. He enjoys fighting, though doesn't participate in combat nearly as often now that his brothers left him.

Appearance

Dashuzo is a human-sized snail, his body is a golden-green colour with shades of grey and orange mixed in. His body is surprisingly muscular for a gastropod, though such muscle is hardly put into practice given how slow moving he is. Four antennae sit atop his head, they share the same colour as his body. In the center of his face lies a small mouth, with small teeth inside. A small shell sits on his back, just barely big enough for him to retreat into.

History

Daishuzo was born under a powerful snail within the Gaikō no ichizoku, and is a distant cousin of Nettai. He and his four other brothers were trained to master certain arts from a young age, however, his brothers met untimely deaths after relentlessly, and unnecessarily trying to attack a group of snakes. Daishuzo excels in raiton, and unlike others members of his family, he focuses primarily on offense rather than defense. that isn't to say, however, that he doesn't boast a strong defense too.

acid slime

the gastropod regurgitates great masses of thick acid out from their mouths, that has the potency to dissolve rock almost instantaneously. the blasts have a radius of about 5 meters, while the range of the acid blasts are determined by the rank of the user. this means that an S rank slug could launch its acidic blasts up to 50 meters away. however, this slime; despite having a huge area of effect, isn't particularly accurate, and is best used at close range where it is far more likely to hit.

super shell

the snail swiftly retreats into their shell, which protects them from even the most devastating of damage - attacks which would usually crush buildings and reduce them to rubble, will barely even phase these shells.

Special: Delivers intense shocks to whatever comes in contact with it. While protected by the lightning armor, the user is free to move and act as they wish, but no other jutsu other than Raiton techniques can be made until the lightning is either cancelled or destroyed. Armor glows a faint, transparent glow. Each time retrained, extra 'B' ranked shocking damage is added onto the shield. However, after every third retraining, the consumption will go up by one. Can be learned a maximum of 4 times.
Description: A defensive technique, the Yoroi technique is as its name implies – a set of lightning based armor, which shocks anything that comes in contact with it. After a series of handseals, lightning from the sky showers upon the user, coating them in a bright blue coating. As they glow, all forms of conductors will make victim’s more susceptible to damage, and any taijutsu upon the armor will leave the user’s appendages feeling paralyzed. Excellent when outnumbered, or simply facing an opponent that favors taijutsu.

Raikyuu (Lightning Ball)

Special: Travels in a straight line and cannot be altered once shot. Ball's size measure half a meter diameter, and grows by another half each time retrained. However, after every fourth retraining, the consumption will go up by one. The range it can cover depends on the user's 'Karai Shin'. Being struck by this results in the area in question being paralyzed for half a turn - a hit to the head affects the whole body. Paralysis effects do not stack once victim is struck.
Description: A very simple and effective Raiton technique known throughout, the user either takes twin weaponry or their own appendages, focuses their chakra into their center, and forms a ball of pure lightning. This newly formed threat can either be smashed into an opponent’s face, or tossed from a nearby distance. Repetitive exposure to the shocking has been known to leave its victims stunned.

Danpen Inazuma (Shooting Thunder)

Description: Meant more as a reactionary technique than a main avenue of offense, this jutsu allows the user to essentially shoot out small lightning bolts from a free hand to anyone within a small range. This requires no seals to conjure, and can be shot out from one’s appendage during the most heated of combat. The damage is light and the bolts shoot off in a relatively straight line, at rapid speeds.

Ichiren Inazuma (Chain of Lightning)

Special: Range of chain depends on the user's 'Kirai Shin'. By default, you can strike up to one opponent with this, plus one more each time retrained. However, after every third retraining, the consumption will go up by one. Once struck, victim’s will be paralyzed and stuck in the chain until the user stops using it. User must keep outstretched arm and be still as they feed the chain Raiton chakra.
Description: An advanced version of ‘Shooting Thunder,' the Chain of Lightning allows the user to pass strong currents of lightning from victim to victim within a thirty meter radius. The user outstretches their hands, so that the energy focusing within is displaced rapidly towards their target. Once they are hit, the victims are paralyzed and helpless, and the bolt then proceeds to jump and hit anyone else within range. Excellent when outnumbered, though one must use it with care, for it takes a great toll on the user’s chakra pool.

Karasuhebi no Jutsu (Thunder Style – Shocking Snake Technique)

Special: Range that the snake can travel away from the user depends on their highest 'Karai Shin'. Upon latching onto the victim, the snake can deliver shocks rendering the captured area numb for the entire time the snake is caught on. The duration this snake is "usable" is two post, plus one every time retrained for a maximum of ten posts.
Description: Through their talents in the Raiton release, the user is allowed to use their chakra to manifest a snake that will do their bidding. This snake is made comprised of pure lightning, and has advanced intellect of its own. It can communicate with the user mentally and follow orders well. This snake is useful for quick gashing and shocking attacks, and if one can manage to coil around the user, the equivalent of a strong 'B' ranked worth shock courses through their body whole, constricting and shocking.

Sutangan no Jutsu (Limb Stunning Technique)

Special: If used on a person’s head, they will be knocked out for a single post. Limbs are numbed for a whole turn. Stunning effect cannot be stacked. Due to the amount of shock suffered by the user's limb during the transference of energy, this can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained for a total of five posts. The user must touch the victim with their hand to achieve the desired effects.
Description: The electric influence that exists over the human body and its muscles allows one to control the later through unconventional methods, including through the means of chakra. After charging a small electric shock in the user’s hands, one can approach their victim and place the charged hand onto a limb or muscle on their body, unleashing the pent up shock and rendering the aforementioned target useless for the rest of the turn. Although simple, it’s highly effective when the user is faster than the victim, and can outmaneuver them as they strike. Also highly effective for keeping captives in place!

Special: Distance bolt can travel depends on the user's highest 'Karai Shin'. The bolt is about as long as a regular katana, and glows an intense deep blue. Description: Named after the fabled imaginary leader of the sky and thunder, this technique allows the user to feel like Zeus himself as they summon a tight bolt of electricity in their hand, similar to a javelin, so that they could throw it with appeasing accuracy. The bolt will move through the sky quite fast, and carries deadly accuracy in the right hands. Upon making contact with the target, it immediately bursts into a vertical cylinder storm that surrounds the victim and delivers a plethora of constant shock damage.

Personality

Nettai is a very mystical type of slug, she rarely speaks, but when she does it is usually phrased in a complex manner or with hidden meaning behind her words. She enjoys watching the sun set and listening to the sound of waves crashing into the shore - being that she often spends her time underwater she rarely hears or sees these types of occurrences. Nettai is calm and very intelligent, no one has ever seen her angry or out of character.

Appearance

Nettai is a huge pink slug with an even bigger, gargantuan shell on her back. The shell is jagged and sharp, with seaweed, starfish and all sorts of tropical sea plants, algae and coral growth enveloping its rough, stone-grey frame. She never raises her head, though if she did she would only be about 18 meters tall, not as large in comparison to other female slugs within the Gaikō no ichizoku, however her large shell makes her just as tall as them. She has four large, flailing antennae on her upper and lower head, with red tips on the end. Her mouth is larger than that of any other slug in the family, being a sort of flap rather than a hole, she appears elegant and beautiful; though, mysterious all the same.

History

Nettai is the second oldest of the Gaikō no ichizoku, she was born on a sandy beach. One night, her parents had gone out in search for food, but a young Nettai was swept from the sands by the storming tide, and was quickly washed into the ocean. Without any hope of survival, the slug pushed and wiggled in all attempts of getting back to shore, but her efforts proved futile. It was then that she discovered her skill with suiton, managing to propel herself above water to draw breathe. She repeated this process over and over, until eventually she managed to teach herself how to swim. As years went on she was able to train herself to live underwater for very long periods of time without air, to the point that she even carried a large shell on her back to use as a home while below the surface. Slugs of the Gaikō no ichizoku were impressed with her talents, and took her in as one of their own.

Description: Suiton, the often mystic ability to control water at one's will. Though one cannot create their own amount of water, they can control any previously formed body of it, bending the source at their will and making it highly malleable. From prison type techniques to simple overwhelming the user with an abundance of waves, Suiton is truly a release to be feared once mastered.

Special: The water barrier blocks a single attack of equivalent or lower rank before needing to be recast. The user can either spit the stream out, or cause a body of water to rise up and around them on all sides (must be on the body of water in question).
Description: Suijinheki is one of the most impressive Suiton jutsu, and one of the few actually able to defend the user indefinitely from danger. The user will first do a string of hand seals, and then-- either by releasing it from their mouth or controlling a nearby body of water --form a high-speed barrier of liquid to stand between them and the danger before them.

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Techqniue) x3 ¹⁵⁰

Type: Supplementary.
Range: Range determined by Dominion rank.

Chakra: Mid per clone created.
Special: Up to one clone can be made at a time, plus one more each time retrained, for a maximum of five (5). As elemental clones, they cannot exist outside the user's 'Suiton Ryuuken' range in terms of distance away from their creator, and as such, can never exit the thread they were made in nor travel unless by their creator's side. Due to their watery nature, water clones can absorb attacks one rank lower than their maximum 'Suiton Ryuuken' rank mainly by altering the density of their water; any attack above that will instantly burst them. When defeated, clone explodes in a mist of water. Finally, because they are mentally linked their creator, water clones can use any c-rank or lower suiton based jutsu their creator knows.
Description: With this technique, the Suiton user is able to call upon aid from a perfect copy of themselves. Comprised purely of water, this clone retains the user movement speed and strength. Best of all, due to its flowing essence, the water clone is capable of using a hefty amount of the original user's suiton-based techniques either for defensive means or offensive.

Mizu no Muchi (Whip of Water) ⁵⁰

Special: Whip is formed around the user's desired appendage, and is delivered with a simple flick of the wrist due to its weightless nature, and can reach a maximum of fifteen feet. If the user possesses the Raiton release, they can send a current through the whip with a simple thought, able to shock, stun and paralyze opponent’s should they be caught/ensnared by the whip. Those ensnared by the whip can break the whip with a burst of chakra (x2 Mid).
Description: Mizu no Muchi is a ninjutsu technique that utilizes nearby water to create a whip that will function in the normal fashion, such as allowing the ninja to whip their targets, ensnare them, or defend against weapons. As a bonus, the ninja can also send an electric current through the whip to electrocute their opponent, should they possess the Raiton release of course.

Special: Though stream is thin, it is nonetheless strong and fast (equivalent to the user's dominion rank), and can produce a knock-back effect should a victim be caught; knock-back is equal to one meter, plus one more each time retrained. However, after every fourth retraining, chakra consumption will go up by one.
Description: Mizurappa is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing Suiton. After forming the needed handseals, the user will expel a strong jet of water at their opponent from their mouths. This stream moves frighteningly fast, and carried enough force to knock over even strong boulders.

Special: Bullets are fired from the mouth, all at once in the form of straight lined fashion. Speed of the bullets is equivalent to the user's Suiton Ryuuken. Description: Suirou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to imprison an opponent. After the shinobi forms the necessary hand seals, the water around the victim comes together in order to form a spherical prison which only allows for limited movement. When combined with a bunshin technique, the ninja can imprison their target but still allow for a clone to attack others nearby, or even have the bunshin be the one’s holding the target hostage.

If the target runs on top of the liquid, their feet will become glued to its sticky surface. If the user focuses chakra to their feet before touching the surface, they can hover above and move over it without hindrance. This allows the caster or a comrade to charge and attack without fear of becoming bogged down as well, as long as they keep the chakra to their feet steady.

This jet cuts through the surface and can pierce through stone, resulting in quick death unless the opponent can predict or foresee the water and move out of the way in time.

Description: Mizukiri no Yaiba is a ninjutsu technique that allows the caster to utilize water to create a razor sharp sword. Additionally, it can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like a normal blade, as well as in conjunction with any Martial Arts that rely on the saber/short/long sword.

Only focusing a strong attack 'A' ranked or higher on the head will defeat it for sure. Up to one dragon can be made per use, plus one more each time retrained. Description: Suiryuudan no Jutsu is one of Suiton’s strongest ninjutsu, mainly because of its impact force and its ability to attack enemies in the air and on the ground. The ninja does a long string of hand seals which then causes a column of water in the form of a dragon to rise from the water and then strike at their target. Upon striking its target and ensnaring it in its aquatic maw, the dragon explodes with great force, flooding all nearby and providing an ample amount of water for more Suiton techs, should any enemies remain standing.

Daibakufu no Jutsu (Grand Waterfall Technique) ¹⁵⁰

Description: A very strong and effective water jutsu, after doing the needed hand seals, the user will summon a large column of water from a nearby water source, which will entrap the victim and then a large force of water will erupt to hit the target. Due to the force of the attack, the target will be fully enveloped by the water and will be at its mercy as it pulls them away. It gets its name from when it streams down to the ground in one big cascade, much like a gigantic waterfall. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilisation is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster.

Suiryuuben (Water Dragon Whip) ¹⁵⁰

Special: Sphere exists as long as the user is willing to put chakra into it. From there, one can summon whips of water that can shoot out and attack or defend the user, extending up to a maximum length of thirty feet. Tentacle/whip is no more than a meter thick, and can alter its path mid-flight due to its flexible frame.
Description: Suiryuuben is a ninjutsu technique utilizing Suiton which will allow the user to generate a whirling sphere of water capable of both defending from attacks and carrying out its own strikes. After forming the necessary handseals, a large sphere of water forms above the user’s head. This sphere can then emit whips of water, razor sharp at the tips, which can seek out and impale their assigned targets. The whips move slightly faster than the user’s current build allows them to, and can swat away incoming attacks, reform if their limbs are cut off, and impale anyone that comes near.

Daibakuryuu no Jutsu (Great Exploding Current Technique) ¹⁵⁰

Description: Suiton • Daibakuryuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu utilizing the Water Element. After doing the needed hand seals, the Suiton user will place their hands on the surface of water which they wish to control. Anything less will immobilize them for a total of one post, at which time thy will regenerate.
Description: A simple but very effective technique, best used on large bodies of water, the user will place generate a large great white shark of compressed water\chakra from each of their fingertips (for a total of five). These sharks are incredibly powerful, easily capable of tearing limbs clean from a person's body or devouring them whole. Not only that, but they're very fast, too!

Special: Pressure stream measures is five meters wide, and moves forth at the same speed and covering the same distance as their 'Suiton Ryuuken' allows them to. Stream travels in a straight line, and requires both open hands to control the direction of the blast, as if the user had a giant hose to hold. Can be held as long as water is available, and as long as the user wishes to sustain it. Finally, because of the sudden pressure of the water blast, this technique can be retrained once to stack 'A' ranked blasting damage behind the technique. However, after every second retraining, chakra consumption will go up by one.
Description: A very strong release of Suiton chakra, this technique gathers a large amount of water from a nearby source in order to form a large spiralling stream of water. Coming forth at extreme speeds and guided wherever the user wishes, it is as if the a giant hose has suddenly been turned on. Controlled by the user's hand movements, it can be guided to strike a target in a number of angles, devastating an area in seconds, or even averting a disaster from occurring.

Personality

Katsuyu is a well known and powerful member of the Gaikō no ichizoku, known by many as the ' Queen of Slugs '. Typically, she expresses a very calm and polite demeanour, rarely losing her temper or acting aggressively. However, she is rather clumsy and forgetful, she often gets lost in thought and fails to recall what she had been doing prior, traits other members of the family often ridicule her for. Katsuyu enjoys observing whatever she can and listening to others, she doesn't really like creating action herself, and as such avoids battle whenever she can. Needless to say, she is exceptionally powerful in the heat of combat.

Appearance

Katsuyu is an absolutely gargantuan white slug, she is around 45 meters in height, however when she lowers her head enough she proves to have an even greater length (though slugs can morph their length at will anyway). She has large blue stripes flowing down her back, and huge antennae on her head, with an average-sized mouth sitting idly in the middle of her large squishy head. Within her mouth is a small number of sharp teeth, though she rarely uses them for anything other than crunching through leaves.

History

Katsuyu was born in a foreign wasteland with several other slugs, her mother died protecting her egg from wild snakes, and thus the little slug had to learn to fend for herself. Having heard rumors that there was a mass gathering of slugs and snails in a distant forest, apparently naming themselves the Gaikō no ichizoku, she found that it was within her interests to travel there and find a home to settle into. Throughout her travels Katsuyu would face against countless predators, and was forced to create formidable slime defenses and shields without even having had the slug training that many other slugs were given. Having developed many impressive ways of defending herself in battle, she gained a strong reputation in the animal kingdom, and as such was accepted into the Gaikō no ichizoku with open arms.

acid slime

the gastropod regurgitates great masses of thick acid out from their mouths, that has the potency to dissolve rock almost instantaneously. the blasts have a radius of about 15 meters, while the range of the acid blasts are determined by the rank of the user. this means that an S rank slug could launch its acidic blasts up to 50 meters away. however, this slime; despite having a huge area of effect, isn't particularly accurate, and is best used at close range where it is far more likely to hit.

great slug division!

the queen divides herself into a countless amount of smaller clones, splitting into a maximum of 100 divisions. these clones retain the exact same abilities as their original, however, each clone is treated as though it were a c rank summon meaning their techniques are weakened significantly.

furthermore, given how physically draining this ability is, once the original katsuyu has split her body up into all 100 clones, she cannot use the great slug division again after she has reformed. finally, katsuyu may reform around an opponent, effectively capturing them inside of her body until she either frees them, or they manage to break free.

great slug division: body melding

an ability that can only be used once katsuyu has broken down into smaller clones after using the great slug division. clones are able to meld their bodies around a selected target, effectively absorbing them. given their durability, the clones can withstand an a rather incredible amount of outside force before being rendered useless. attacks which would usually shatter buildings and blow up rock, concrete etc. barely even phases these slugs.

although this is mainly used as a defensive procedure, clones can also meld around an opponent to slow them down, if not outright capture them. although from the inside, the clones are easily escaped using simple physical strength.

slime body

as an invertebrate, the slug naturally has no backbone - this means they aren't as susceptible to blunt force damage as other creatures, and can use their natural ability of stretching and flattening their bodies at will, to escape damage when necessary. this means that, in effect, the slug is immune from most blunt force trauma.

sticky solution

a specialized skill that involves the use of a sticky slime expelled from the slugs mouth. with this unusual ability, the slug can skillfully glue things together, which were previously torn apart. the slug can even use this to reattach severed limbs and body parts, however excessive concentration is needed to do so - and as such this ability cannot be used in the middle of combat. this ' glue ' contains a special type of medical chakra that will heal the wound over a course of several turns [up to five, depending on the wound]. the glue still has it limits though - it cannot mend any brain injuries, meaning decapitation, vertical bisection etc. are not fixable.

this glue may only be used once per thread, and it cannot be used on a mass scale using the ' great slug division ' . the slug may split one division form their original body, and have it use this ability, however the same rules will apply.

Description: Shousen Jutsu is one of the most fundamental yet vital Medical Ninjutsu techniques utilized by medical ninja. This technique allows the ninja to heal wounds by focusing their own chakra to their hands, creating a special chakra designed to speed up the body's natural healing process exponentially. The chakra is represented by a faint glow around each of the user's hands, a perfect circle formed around the appendage, with the glow itself letting off a faint, blue hue. Description: Chakra Exhaustion is a dangerous thing for shinobi to have to face. Medical Ninja developed a way to fix that problem. By touching the center of the patient's chest with both hands, the user is capable of sending chakra directly into the patient's chakra circulatory system, allowing the system to process the chakra and receive it as if the chakra were the person's own. While the user maintains their touch on the patient's body, the amount of chakra per turn may be sent to the patient up to the rank this technique is trained.

Personality

As the eldest and most experienced summon of the family, she is wise and all-knowing. She appears as an overly serious summon, and a bit of a know-it-all, especially when it comes to nagging at her inferiors. She can be rather snappy, which becomes irritating quickly to everyone around her. Megami enjoys getting into heated discussions and isn't afraid to get herself dirty or injured in order to get what she wants, however her old body makes her unwilling to jump in combat very often.

Appearance

A colossal brown and grey summon, she stands at 35 meters in height, while her length is considerably longer, at a grand total of 50 meters long. (though slugs can morph their length at will anyway). She has many brown and orange spots scattered over her body, most of which are the product of age. Huge antennae sit on her head, though her sight and hearing aren't quite what they used to be. As with other summons in the family, an average-sized mouth sits idly in the middle of her head. A few teeth are found inside, though most have fallen out over the years.

History

This great slug was born within the Gaikō no ichizoku, under the past leader and his wife. She was the heir to the position of Sage, and so was thoroughly trained in the slug arts, as well various ninjutsu which she would go on to master. Megami initially was well known because for her lineage, however as she grew up she was recognized as outrageously skilled, managing to man-handle a snake who excelled in taijutsu, and kill an entire flock of giant birds with la single attack. As time went on, and her father passed away, Megami became the grand leader of the Gaikō no ichizoku. She had never been much for socializing, so whenever her mother passed away, she rarely spoke to others in the family, often liking her privacy. In old age she grew rather snappy and rude, making others try to avoid her. That being said, she still honors the family code, and sets an example for all the others in the Gaikō no ichizoku

the gastropod regurgitates great masses of thick acid out from their mouths, that has the potency to dissolve rock almost instantaneously. the blasts have a radius of about 15 meters, while the range of the acid blasts are determined by the rank of the user. this means that an S rank slug could launch its acidic blasts up to 50 meters away. however, this slime; despite having a huge area of effect, isn't particularly accurate, and is best used at close range where it is far more likely to hit.

slime body

as an invertebrate, the slug naturally has no backbone - this means they aren't as susceptible to blunt force damage as other creatures, and can use their natural ability of stretching and flattening their bodies at will, to escape damage when necessary. this means that, in effect, the slug is immune from most blunt force trauma.

sticky solution

a specialized skill that involves the use of a sticky slime expelled from the slugs mouth. with this unusual ability, the slug can skillfully glue things together, which were previously torn apart. the slug can even use this to reattach severed limbs and body parts, however excessive concentration is needed to do so - and as such this ability cannot be used in the middle of combat. this ' glue ' contains a special type of medical chakra that will heal the wound over a course of several turns [up to five, depending on the wound]. the glue still has it limits though - it cannot mend any brain injuries, meaning decapitation, vertical bisection etc. are not fixable.

this glue may only be used once per thread, and it cannot be used on a mass scale using the ' great slug division ' . the slug may split one division form their original body, and have it use this ability, however the same rules will apply

This allows the user to protect themselves from a variety of physical attacks, both ninjutsu and taijutsu. The defense is not perfect though, as a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall.

Description: A very basic earth technique, it allows the user to dive underground almost instantaneously so that they remain hidden from view in order to ambush their opponent. As long as the opponent is walking across the earth, they will be aware of their presence, and can wait patiently (without fear of asphyxiation!) until they right time, where they will emerge and latch onto the opponent’s legs. From here, they can easily suck them down, executing a replacement with them so that the opponent is buried underground up to his neck, while the user emerges unharmed above ground.

Description: An upgrade to Shinjuu Zanshu, this underground variation grants the user movement whilst underground. Additionally, they can also emerge from below with their weapons drawn, allowing them to attack without being seen. After a few short seals, the user merely sinks below, and can remain there for a small amount of time.

Description: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will transform the ground upon which the enemy stands into a river of mud. This river suddenly materializes flowing at fast paces completely against the direction the opponent is moving, making movement very, very difficult. The river itself shoots in a relatively straightly line, and as the user's rank increases, so does their skill with this technique. Excellent for slowing people down and facilitating escapes, as the mud itself is highly constricting.

Can be held as long as the user wishes to pay for it, as long as the user is in contact with it.
Description: An intense world shaper, the ninja will do the necessary hand seals and slam their hands on the ground. As they transfer their chakra down and begin to take control of the land, a large earthen wall will erupt from the ground, right underneath the user's feet. This wall can always vary by size, shape and width, and can be moved anywhere user wishes too, as long as they have enough chakra. This is the concept behind Doryu – use one’s power over Doton to influence the land. Useful for aiding or foiling escapes, disrupting large areas, etc.

Description: No one knows the power of Fuuton more than a Fuuton specialist, and this technique was designed by those that met reality sooner than most. Varying by skill and rank, this technique allows the user to take hold of any offensive jutsu used upon them, as along as the attack’s nature allows for whatever is thrown to be controlled. With a great burst of chakra at either their hands or weapons, the user quickly returns the technique back at the opponent, in full effect.

Description: A staple Fuuton technique, Daitoppa allows the user to blow a single strong current from their mouth, expelled in a cone like fashion forward which carries enough power to knock anything in its way down. This technique is very simple to execute – the user makes the right seals, simply takes a deep breath, and let’s go!

Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction.

Description: A powerful jutsu intended to call forth aid when in dire need, Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon a a variety of entities and items meant to assist them in a dire situation. From people to animals, to inanimate objects such as weapons and items, these creations come forth out of thin air near-instantly after the seals are done and into the battlefield. Keep in mind each summoning in question requires a previous contract to be filled out. Finally, signing this contract also allows said summoning to be able to reverse summon the human ninja to their own location.

Description: Shinranbanshou Douka no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique that allows the ninja to use their surroundings as a tool for battles. With this technique, the user will form the needed hand seal and then touch a nearby tangible object to take on its properties. For example, if they touched nearby stone, their body will become hard as a rock in whatever desired location. This technique also appears to give the user the ability to break their body down into smaller pieces of whatever element they touch and reform himself at will, even after having been blown to bits.
