Along a once lost road leading between the rain-soaked wastes that are now Ame No Kuni and the great scrap-metal graveyards of the Land of Thunder, a pilgrimage had begun. It was not from the war that collections of starving dark-skinned children ran in packs away from their homes, but from the torturous barbarity of a people whose blood-given blessings made them all the more valuable as tools for destruction. The Satoru clan are revered as being the divine omens of a far more peaceful world, and though often possessed of terrifying power, are usually tasked with utilizing that power only in the interest of helping those around them achieve their own enlightenment, though it pales in comparison to the power of their Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai.

Satoru clan members retain the collected memories of their past lives; past experiences, past feelings and emotions, all eventually integrated into a single consciousness and exhibit a far higher level of intelligence and resourcefulness then can be expected from even the most capable of shinobi. Their commitment to non-violence is not merely a practice of their slowly spreading clan heritage, but a genetic necessity carried by blood from one member to the next. Those possessing this Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai are always of darker tone/complexion, and develop the Clan Seal somewhere on their body. Members of this clan must begin in Ame No Kuni, Mizu No Kuni or Taki No Kuni, in relation to the clans strong association with the overall nature of Water. Characters can be ninja or non-ninja.

Satoru can be written using different kanji characters and can mean:

2. Clan Members must be Ninjutsu/Genjutsu Primaries, but still gain the speed, agility, and reflexes perk of Taijutsu Primaries.

3. Those who possess this Clan's Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai are incapable of questing for or possessing relics, and are naturally incapable of questing for Kinjutsu.

4. Must complete a self lead quest in order to sacrifice your current character and reincarnate as a Satoru. GM's will grade this Quest to determine whether or not the RP was sufficient to warrant earning it.

5. Starting age of initial character, as well as the starting age of all subsequent 'reincarnations', must be a multiple of 3.

6. Those who possess this Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai are incapable of utilizing the summoning technique/contracting summoning animals.

It is not through the circumstance of chance birth or lineage that those of the Satoru are born, but rather, through a ceremony known as the 6 Marytr's Rite of Divine Sacrifice. This is the only way to create a member of the Satoru Clan.

• The Satoru Clan Elders select six individuals, through a process that is sometimes rumored to have near prophetic importance. The strongest of these six individuals (the PC character you possess before making a Satoru Clan member) is 'randomly' chosen and is brought before the Elders to participate in this ceremony regardless of any other IC responsibilities you may have had (This Must Be RP'd Out).
  
  
• Aside from your current character, you must create 5 additional character profiles (not separate accounts). These profiles (which will still be in need of admin approval where applicable) can possess any abilities or characteristics that the user wishes, so long as they obey the proper restrictions of their build. Each of the additional 5 profiles has the same amount of EXP and the same chakra pool as your current PC character.
  
  
• All six characters must fight to the death in an RP thread designed by the user. All six characters must die at the exact same time. Lead RP/Event Moderators will judge whether the additional profiles/thread is of proper length and quality to be allowed to then create a Satoru Clan member.
  
  
• The Satoru Clan member created after this 'sacrifice' possesses the full memories and combined intelligence of each of these six profiles upon character creation. This must be RP'd out accordingly.
  
  
• The user, out of respect, is incapable of entering threads marked as [Private], regardless of the thread starters difficulty, without being invited.
  
  
• Upon death, the users body fades away completely without leaving any trace; they cannot be turned in for EXP rewards, nor can their Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai be transplanted into others.

MASTERY

[/b] Upon the characters death, they are reincarnated (this requires the creation of a completely different character) with all the added memories there previous character had, as well as their Satoru Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai technique(s). The user is forever barred from possessing masteries in Genjutsu.

Tier Two - Seishinno Iyashiōra (Spirit Healing Aura): For a cost of x3 High, the user is capable of immediately relieving any degree of pain, physical and mental, that another person experiences, through direct physical contact for one turn. This cost stacks with each additional turn. The users ability to know/remember techniques from previous lives increases by one.

Tier Three - Tenkami no Kando Kaihō (Celestial God Endless Creation Sensitivity): ANY injury, caused to ANY person by ANY source within 3 feet of the users body is experienced as pure pain by the user, and is considered to be 3 times as intense as the original injury. In cases of severe injury caused to others, this can be enough to drive the user insane, and must be RP'd out accordingly. The users ability to know/remember techniques from previous lives increases by one.

It should be noted that these masteries are automatically learned once the user has reached the necessary amount of technique knowledge within Satoru. All beginning mastery points for characters who begin in the Satoru Clan must be reserved for their Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai. Techniques passed on from previous lifetimes do not cost exp, and are gained automatically, though all EXP at character creation that is not used on the initial Satoru Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai technique must be placed into the sidebar and reserved. A Satoru Clan Members first 5,000 EXP (For the first Incarnation only) spent MUST be spent on either Expansive Chakra, An Additional Profession Slot, An Additional Mastery Slot, or One Handed Jutsu (Purchases Only One (1) of these perks). This perk carries over to any subsequently reincarnated characters.[/ul]

• Kamiheiwa Umarekawari: Rokushigisei Okurimono (Divine Pacifist Reincarnation: Six Death Sacrificial Gift)

Special: The user is capable of knowing and utilizing one technique of ANY kind from every previous lifetime, regardless of any restrictions or other requirements/prerequisites that technique may have (provided that the first six techniques gained in this way were used during the 6 Martyrs Rite of Divine Sacrifice). The user is able to utilize a technique as if they also possessed any other necessary domains to perform it. Any time the user engages in a DE fight (non spar/training) of any kind, against any enemy, the user WILL die (must still be RP'd out, a giant random meteor, for instance, will not fall from the sky arbitrarily and kill you, you die by combat). The user is incapable of killing another human being, either directly or indirectly, and any of their actions that might lead to this occurrence are voided. The character's deaths are legitimate and not considered scraps, but can only be used to recreate as the next incarnation of the Clan Member.
Description: The Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai ability of the Satoru Clan, members who've developed this ability are able to draw on the knowledge of past lives as a shared pool of experience, and are reincarnated again and again as living archives of the past. The user is considered an enlightened being, and though capable of violence, is incapable of either directly or indirectly killing another human being through their own actions. In the event that the character chooses or is forced into violent conflict with others, they WILL die, a fate that is known far and wide to be completely inescapable. In return for such a life, the user is capable of wielding incredible power, and drawing on the knowledge of their former selves, makes what were once boundaries of power now pathways that might one day lead to true peace.

Special: After dying and reincarnating a total of 9 times, the user's current consciousness becomes incapable of experiencing true death, regardless of how thoroughly their body may have been destroyed. The body reforms, alone, in their country/village of birth 9 days (IC) after any subsequent deaths, completely free of injury. Once this technique is learned, the user is still incapable of killing others, but is free to engage in violent conflict with others without the risk of dying. However, ANY injury, pain, or suffering that they cause to another person, is instantly experienced by the user. The user ages 9 years IC each time they use this ability to return to life.
Description: Those who've progressed the Satoru Clan Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai to the next level are now capable of eluding death completely, but must share in the karmic cycle of pain that they might cause to others. This 'second stage' of their sacrificial gift is deeply connected to their Land of Origin, the Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai practitioners birthplace, and allows its users to be 'reborn' after exposure to events that would kill a normal human being. The user is incapable of being 'killed' or of getting sick/poisoned etc., the user is incapable of dying from old age.

Special: After reforming from 'death' a total of 12 times, the user is able to completely cancel out the effects of any technique used against them that they personally know, simply by coming in contact with it in some way. This includes techniques learned across previous lifetimes. The user is incapable of taking ANY life, human or animal, and upon suffering damage that would normally cause them to die, instantly reforms completely healed wherever they happen to be. The users chakra pool is replenished during this brief reformation time as well; the reformation itself can occur in almost any way (aesthetically) that the user wishes.
Description: At this final stage of the Kinjutsu Kekkei Genkai's development, the users very presence is enough to display a mastery of experience that can disrupt any technique used against them, provided they've already learned it themselves. The utilization of this ability has been known to take many different aesthetic forms, but typically appears as the user makes physical contact with a hand or finger, seemingly pushing or striking an opponents technique, which (in the case of ninjutsu/genjutsu) returns to the same sources that birthed it, or (in the case of taijutsu) has its movements halted in place. When this technique is used to cancel out an opponents technique/attack, any chakra the opponent might have used is instantly returned to them, which gives that opponent an additional x1 High to their chakra pool until the end of the thread.

NOT staff only. I actually want to know anyone's opinion about it whose willing to offer it. I'm iffy about the idea as a whole, but eager to see a concept like this work out. I'd ask that criticism be constructive in nature, however; if you see a problem, something you don't get or don't see possible as working, let me know. If this can work, its only going to work if I can fix the kinks and potential disasters now.

I just want to know why they need the Taijutsu mastery perk. They can't just focus on the area of Ninjutsu only? Why? Giving them to Taijutsu perk is only useful if they are going to perform Taijutsu. This means hand to hand combat, dealing some heavy damage to another's body, and your clan's third tier mastery says that every hit that you land, as long as they are within a meter/three feet of them, damages the user. This doesn't make any sense to me, giving them this particular perk so that they can excel in something that will just hurt them. But, then again, you could just use it primarily for the speed boost. I just think it is an unfair and unneeded addition to the clan. You are already making them unique with their techniques revolving around some serious chakra-related moves, so the Taijutsu mastery is unneeded.

Also, about the rule of them only dying if they kill. . . I think that some more can be added to that. Like starting a fight, or trying to seriously damage someone, so that they can be taken into submission. This is a pacifist clan, right? So, the only thing that they should be doing is defending for the most part, and trying their best to avoid or stop fights, without causing harm to either party.

But, meh.

P.S. They can't walk on grass and have to watch out for all types of bugs. Since, you know, if you kill anything, you die. GG.

2) The third tier mastery does not say every hit I land, it says ANY damage that ANY one takes, is felt by the user as pain. I agree that allowing them to excel at something that will just hurt them doesn't make sense. That's also not what it says at all.

3) There is no Taijutsu Mastery. It simply means that they are equally as fast as a Tai Primary, in the same way that they have the equivalent chakra pool of a Nin Primary; i.e., as human beings, they represent a balance. In keeping with the idea of reincarnation, and the fact that their body itself can re-form, as well as the idea that they inherit the 'strength' of former incarnations.

1.) I know that it doesn't have anything to do with strength, though being faster than your opponent can give you an edge in close combat, that's what I was trying to say.

2.) Every Taijutsu hit that you would land on someone does damage, if I used Goken's Raiken punch on someone 5 times, each of the punches hitting, they will receive damage for each hit. So, it would be every hit, even if they were blocking or countering, when your body comes into contact with someone else's, damage is done. The scale of the damage will always vary, though (i.e. chest pain from being punched in the chest, or feeling just a slight brush along your aim as someone barely hits you). "ANY injury, caused to ANY person by ANY source within 3 feet of the users body is experienced as pure pain by the user, and is considered to be 3 times as intense as the original injury."

3.) For the third, I think it would just be better if they were forced to primarily focus in another area, rather than it possessing both perks. But that's just me.

4 & 5.) Whoa, calm down, Naitome. And, in the three specials of your techniques, it doesn't say that being violent toward others will get them killed, just killing people will (if it is not in the special, it needs to be there), it just says;

Which brings another point to mind - after dying a certain amount of times, the user's will be. . . Basically immortal as long as they don't kill or whatever. I know that you're trying to say something, at least I hope you are, but you aren't actually making points or anything coherent enough for me to really respond to. I'm going to...attempt...to decipher through....what that was you just typed.

1) What part of...not fighting....are you not getting? The only time they can do anything combat wise offensively is with the first and second tech. With the first tech, anyone they fight, they die fighting against, and they can't kill. With the second tech, even though they can fight without auto-dying, they can't kill, and anything they do to hurt an opponent, they instantly feel as well, meaning....they can't really fight, no matter what. The speed boost is meant to help them be able to avoid attacks, since that's quite literally all they can actually do effectively in a combat situation. So....what part...of not fighting...are you not getting?

2)Uh...yes? You haven't made a point or asked a question...with the third mastery they effectively can't ever hit, attack, or harm anyone, ever. That's how it works...

I can understand that. My thinking on it was; throughout japanese culture, there's often legend that develops about beings who are, for lack of a better term, enlightened. People who've found a different way to go about their day to day lives, even among periods of intense war or conflict, by not only committing themselves to higher ideals, but by being fundamentally on a higher 'level' of consciousness. By living a higher quality of life. I tried to use the world established by Naruto to produce something that, at least to me, felt like a natural manifestation of that ideal. Pacifists, naturally, aren't going to be all about fighting; this is a KG/Clan about plot. About trying to find a different/better way to exist all around, and as far as Naruto Canon is concerned, I don't see it is as too far away thematically from many of the ideas (Immortality, Mastery, Reincarnation, Karmic Cycles of Rebirth, Shared Pain) that have been fundamental throughout the manga/anime. But I can appreciate your opinion on it as well.
