[/b] -- Because of Nishi's rough upbringing, the boy shows no remorse when it comes to fighting his way out of a tight spot. Knowing that the world shows no mercy to it's inhabitants, Nishi follows that example. If he even thinks his life could POSSIBLY be threatened, he doesn't hesitate to make a move first, no matter how unfair or 'cheap'.

Hatred -- As far back as the boy could remember, one emotion was always clear. He had always hated his parents. They treated him like trash, locking him in a small animal cage until he finally outgrew it. On his sixth birthday, a week after outgrowing the cage, his parents had told him he would have his own room by the end of the day. They took Nishi on a trip to a nearby city, but on the way they ran into a group of five slave trading missing-nins from the Village of the Hidden Waterfall, where Nishi was quickly sold for a two young cows and a small sack of oats.

At times... Unstable -- On the long journey back to the missing-nin's base, Nishi realized life with the ninjas would be entirely better than with his parents. During a short break, Nishi was woken up by loud screams. The missing-nin group had been ambushed by masked men from a nearby village. Seeing one of the missing-nin he had befriended being attacked, Nishi grabbed a nearby dagger and stabbed his sole pursuer in the heart, killing him instantly. Nishi stood in horror as he saw the man die in front of him, along with nearly twenty others. This greatly contributed to how violent his behavior would become. Watching grown men kill each other over nothing in particular forces you to become a man, and do the same.

Greed -- Growing up Nishi didn't have a single thing to call his own. It wasn't until he arrived by himself in Kirigakure at a young age that he finally had something he could call his own: a stolen loaf of bread. Feasting for the first time in his life (his parents never fed him more rice than absolutely necessary), Nishi finally understood the strong feeling of how good it felt to have "things". Ever since then, greed always gets the better of him. If he wants something, he will likely try to take it.

Hope Graduating from the academy with high marks contributed to his ego greatly, but he knew that he would never have a family, like he saw all of his classmates with every day. He didn't have many friends, but the abused and abandoned shinobi would have dreams of being with friends and dreams of his parents actually loving him. His parents released their own evil on the world, opening Pandora's box when they sold their own son. Could there be hope for Nishi-san, still?[/ul]

As far as personality goes, you could say Nishi is quite heartless. Most actions of his are for personal gain. He thanks his parents for passing down his uncaring ways. Nishi is the perfect example for a Chaotic Neutral-type. He puts himself above all else, even over the village that took him in and trained him as a ninja. There are plenty of other ninja in the Hidden Mist that don't particularly like Nishi because he never wants to be upstaged, ever. His favorite things are to practice his jutsus against people & people that underestimate him. His least favorite thing is people who talk to him like he's a child.
