"I'm a little bit confused here. You want me to fight these Yakuza guys by MYSELF?" Nishi asked the Mizukage's assistant, who had just given the teenager a piece of paper with his first mission as a Kirigakure Genin outlined completely.
"JUST GET GOING! I've got more work to do than you did in your entire time at the academy. You'll find your group along the way, trust me." the assistant said, grabbing Nishi around the shoulders and spinning him around while the boy continued reading the detailed mission paper in his hands.
"Murders and robberies!? What the hell am I getting into here! And where the fuck is Tokigawa!" Nishi protested, but the Mizukage's assistant shuffled him out the office door and slammed it behind him before the boy could ask any more questions. 'All of these criminals, all by myself!? I don't see any damn teammates anywhere...' Nishi thought to himself as he exited the tower, still reading the mission paper over and over to make sure he wasn't misreading anything.
"Now would be a perfect time to actually be a part of a team..." Nishi said to himself with a frown as he watched a group of young Kiri-nin walking through the streets - three of them were obviously Genin, and the fourth taller one was a Jounin. Nishi recognized him from his time at the academy, but he wasn't sure of his name. He watched the team walk through the street for just a few seconds before they disappeared around the corner of a building. Nishi sighed to himself as he walked towards the West side of town, heading in the direction of the Red River.
"Alright, so... Apparently I'll run into a teammate or two on the outskirts of town, eh..." Nishi said with a grin as he walked past building after building, the houses getting smaller and smaller as he traveled. The small villages on this island country were definitely not the richest villages in the bunch, so Nishi thought it was at least a little strange that the criminals were targeting families located near Kirigakure. "Why don't these fools just go to the Fire Country? Surely they would make way more money stealing and pillaging there, I would assume at least..." Nishi said to himself, not paying attention to his immediate surroundings as he ventured farther and farther into the outskirts of town.
"Lost, little boy?" a voice behind Nishi whispered into his ear, startling him.
'Shit, don't tell me they're all here...?' Nishi thought to himself, slowly raising his hands into the air and praying that it was just one attacker behind him.
"Y- Yes, sir.. I- I- I think my parents... They went in a store, and I just, didn't see exactly which one it was..." Nishi said, turning around to examine the man he assumed was about to attack him. The man reached into his pocket to pull a knife, but Nishi wasn't going to let that happen. Reaching into the back of his dress suit's collar, he used a single hand to grab both of his short Ninjato swords, pulling them out and immediately holding both of the sharp tips up to his attacker's neck.
"AND YOU! Get the fuck out from behind those boxes!" Nishi said, keeping his eyes fixed on the man he held at the end of his blade. After a few seconds of silence, Nishi immediately hurled his left Ninjato at the crates that were nearly forty feet away, piercing the smallest one on top - immediately making the second gang member step out in plain view.
"Jaxx you motherfucker... You said you were completely sure this kid wasn't a shinobi! Goddammit not again!" yelled the second attacker, standing there with his hands up in the air.
"Look little man, just let us leave. No trouble here, none at all." said Jaxx, who's jawline was now trickling with blood - Nishi''s Ninjato had cut him ever so slightly when the second man stepped out from behind the box.
"I know who you guys are, and let me tell you what. You're fucking LUCKY that I have bigger fish to fry today! You two and your six murderous friends were at the top of my list today, and I was going to come deal with you myself! But that won't happen today, because you two morons are going to help me out. YOU, what's your name?" Nishi said, pointing at the second man, who began to stutter with his own name. "HEY! No bullshit you dumb fuck, next time I won't miss!" Nishi roared, pulling out a kunai and pointing it at him.
"Okay okay, Dax! It's Dax! Just let us go, please!" Dax begged, flinching at the sight of the kunai.
"What the fuck is with you man! Keep it together!" Jaxx yelled, glaring at his partner.
"HEY! D'you just WANT to fuckin' see how quick I can slice this through your neck? How about I catch it on fire first, then see how long it takes?" Nishi said, but Jaxx smirked at him - infuriating the boy. Nishi immediately gave the taller man a square kick straight in his groin area - enough to make any man go down. Or in this case, enough for Nishi to safely perform the two seals for his Inflamed Weaponry ability. "Katon! Enshou O Okoshite Buki!" Nishi said quickly, and his Ninjato became surrounded by a fiery red aura.
"Now, how about we see how quick your severed head can hit the ground. Dax? Care to keep count for me?" Nishi said, rolling his eyes. Before he got the whole question out, Nishi threw his kunai at the crate next to Dax, who had reached for the Ninjato that was still stuck in the wooden crate. The kunai cut Dax's sleeve, and he immediately retracted his hand and put both of his arms back in the air.
"A wise choice. Now where were we? Oh, right. You were about to show me where your Yakuza boss has his headquarters located." Nishi said, holding the scolding hot Ninjato a bit farther away from Jaxx's face.
"WHAT!? N- Nah man, I ain't even know what or who you're talkin about..." Jaxx said.
"You really want to try my patience, don't you?" Nishi growled, grabbing Jaxx's hand and pulling on his index finger, immediately bringing the flaming sword down and slicing it clear off.
"YOU FUCK! WHAT THE FUCK KID!" Jaxx howled, louder than ever.
"Now, Dax. Should it be his head next, or yours?" Nishi said, holding up his flaming sword once again.
"YOU! Get the fuck down here, I see you up there! Hurry and get down here now before I slice both of your total moron friends in half!" Nishi roared, realizing that there was another person watching everything unfold from the shadows.
