- Hair: Long, straight; Bluish black in color with hints of a purplish hue in places.
- Eyes: Miu’s eyes are heterochromatic; one is a lovely emerald color while the other shows itself as a beautiful amethyst.
- Apparel: Most usually seen wearing worn-through denim jeans with holes and splits in the knee and thigh areas, a pink or purple tee and on occasion a short black jacket. Sometimes, when Miu is feeling extra girly, she’ll don a simple white, pink, or even lavender sun dress.
Clothes, her appearance in these items, and style are all important to her. She doesn’t always follow the typical Li Clan attire and dress in kimonos, but if she has to then she will. - Body Modification: Labret piercing, nose stud, navel piercing, and four different holes in both ears. Miu has an abundance of tattoos that range from her feet and legs and traverse the length of her body front and back, save for a few places such as her forearms, chest, shoulders, neck, and most of her face to which she has deemed areas not to be inked. All of her tattoos and their meanings will be explained below.

- Right foot- A fox sits pretty; looks innocent enough. Comes complete with fangs and claws.
- Left thigh- A green snake slithers up and around her thigh with intricate designs.
- Hips/pelvic region- Two Koi fish; one orange and white, the other fully black; both of these beauties come complete with fangs and razor sharp fins and tail.
- Stomach/navel area- A bright sun circles her navel, it’s ‘rays’ blossom and radiate from its center.
- Left upper arm- A red, 4-legged dragon creature with wings, claws, fangs, and a blue tongue. A purple man-eating lotus flower with teeth and sprouted root-feet. A rolling tidal wave…pretty self-explanatory.
- Right upper arm- A blue, 4-legged dragon creature with wings, claws, fangs and a red tongue. A pink man-eating lotus flower complete with teeth and sprouted root-feet.
- Small of back- A black leopard slinking down the small of her back; bearing its fangs and stretching its claws. Its front paws disappearing usually below the waistline of her jeans.
- Back of neck- A small lightning bolt.
- Left eyebrow- An intricate flower design that seems to be sprouting from her forehead.
- Right eyebrow- Another intricate flower design that seems to be sprouting from her forehead.
Beauty is only skin deep
Miu doesn’t think she is extremely attractive, sure she’s cute and has some features going for her – and she knows this, but she’s self-conscious of her two-toned eyes and all her tattoos. Easily made to blush and shy away from some things, Miu is content with seeing others smile even if sometimes her outward appearance makes people question her motives.
Don’t judge the book by its cover
While she may at times turn shy and delicate; don’t underestimate the power and strength this girl has to offer. Though she may appear stone cold and rough on the outside, beneath all that ink there is something very gentle.
The job gets done
That’s basically her motto for anything having to do with her village, her missions, and any responsibilities that are given out to her. Though she will stop at nothing to complete things successfully, she approaches them with a grace and elegance that would make a green-eyed monster out of anyone.
I love power; nomnomnom
The title speaks for itself. Miu is attracted to those in power and with power; it’s been that way for as long as she can remember.
She’s a bit of a crazy
Not to say she’s clinically insane, but there are some oddities about Miu that would be questioned by others. Of course she enjoys inking herself, but some people who have witnessed remark how euphoric Miu can seem when she’s being inked. Be it an attraction to pain, or something else, she’s never minded rough handling and bruises.
She seems to have a little difficulty controlling her emotions at times; she’s been known to lose her cool on occasion or even be… too happy for a given situation. Laughing at inappropriate moments and being overly bold or flirty are just a few of Miu’s odd switch-ups that just don’t quite match her usual personality.
Love the one you’re with
Whenever Miu is going through one of her ‘odd’ times and she’s being overly bold or flirty, she has the tendency to attach herself to someone and/or crush on someone easily.

Description: The exploding note is a piece of parchment paper infused with special chakra, layered over with a special script on it that serves to enable and facilitate its explosive properties. Its execution is simple - the ninja can attach the note to another object such as a kunai or log, and upon activation, the note is set and begins either a slow countdown burn, which eventually results in a large explosion, or the explosion in itself upon command.

The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Sumi Bunshin no Jutsu (Ink Clone Technique)

Special: The Ink clones are incapable of performing any type of special techniques, only taijutsu. However, they can retrain any special properties drawn from special ink used. Defensive rating of an ink clone is determined by the user's highest Gahou Tenrai; that is, if the user's highest GT rank is 'B', then the bunshin is impervious to strikes 'B' ranked and under, and when hit, will momentarily loose composition before reforming around the area attacked. Can create up to one Bunshin per use, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Gathering chakra, the user will then perform the correct handseals. Injecting that chakra into masses of ink, the user is then capable of forming that ink into a perfect likeness of his or herself. The clones, since they are made of ink, retain any special property that the ink has.

Sumi Shourei no Jutsu (Ink Message Technique)

Special: Animal creation retains traveling properties of said animal. If the object that is supposed to deliver the message is destroyed, then the message is gone. Can only be sent to a thread that is in the same country, no further. Upon reaching the proper target and being read, the ink creation is destroyed and gone forever. Up to one message can be sent before being read and destroyed, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: The user paints a message or letter onto a scroll. Suddenly, the message pops up from the scroll in the shape of an animal. The user tells the animal where to go and the animal does as it is told. Once it arrives, it delivers the message by reattaching itself to another scroll, piece of paper, or any hard surface, therefore revealing the message. The user can also create multiple versions of the message, or pieces of the same message.

Description: The user will rapidly draw several objects, usually animals, on a scroll. Then, performing the right handseals, the user will bring those objects to life and use them for offensive or defensive purposes. The creatures, made of ink, also share any special properties that the ink has.
