continuing from this event.
when ryūsuke accepted her offer she almost sighed in relief. it would have been unimaginably embarassing to have been declined, but she sort of knew that he wouldn't. after their little moment against the wall she doubted he was going to back out. his little stutter on the word yes had her smiling at him in amusement. she opened the door and waited for him to come inside. the lobby was dimly lit, and right in front was a set of stairs leading up to the second floor, miyako's floor. she shut the lobby door behind ryūsuke and taking his hand if he let her, would started to lead him up the stairs to her actual front door. another fumbling with her keys and it opened with a click, swinging around to show a cute, charming little apartment that didn't have too much clutter but was homely and sweet.
first there was the lounge room, then in the left corner her kitchen, and to the right was a hall way leading off to the bathroom and her room. it was small but big enough for one person. more so modern in style rather than some of the more traditional places in konoha but she liked it. she had nice furniture, mostly dark chocolate or black, the kitchen was spacious even for a small place. there was a container of brownies on the bench, a full to the brim fridge and a pantry you would think fed an entire family. miyako cooked a lot. she wondered if he was hungry? for food, that is.
the place was clean, too, save for the books scattered over the place and a couple empty cans and bottles of various alcohol from earlier. normally she would be all over that, cleaning up any visible mess, over conscious about having a tidy house. she easily managed to ignore that in favour of putting all her attention on ryūsuke though. she turned around to him after closing the door. she was biting her lip again. she just wanted to kiss him. but she'd come home to get changed, right? and she'd offered him something to drink. she swallowed nervously.
"m-make yourself at home." she walked over to the kitchen and turned the kettle on. "what kind of tea do you like? or would you rather coffee? ..are you hungry?" her string of questions could have been endless as she started to rummage around the pantry for her collection of tea. maybe he wanted something a little stronger? she spotted a few bottles of various alcohol. "or would you like something stronger to drink?" god she was bad at this. however gracious a host she could be other times, she was fairly much a mess right now.
