1/2 denied, I think. The point of the whole Akimichi clan is that they're large.. I see no reason for you to change that just because you may or may not want to have a fat RP character.

Eeeeehhh, I have to agree with Addy. I don't like the idea of being able to do away with one of the core aspects of the clan, especially due to vanity.

That said, you don't have to be a fatass to be an Akimichi- that's a misconception. Most of them are fat because they convert calories into chakra for their attacks, and thus need to eat a lotto replenish those calories, but you don't need to be fat to have a high-calorie intake; body-builders also eat massive amounts of calories, but aren't that fat. You're more than welcome to be an incredibly buff Akimichi, instead of a fat, rotund one.
