The Kazekage Residence is where the current Kazekage resides. It is a large, spherical sand-colored structure located in the very center of Sunagakure no Sato. Several rows of windows line the walls, and the kanji for wind (風) is painted on its side. The top of the building is flat and tiled, providing both a wondrous view of the village and a water tower.

The first floor of the residence is just above ground level, where it can be accessed via a solid tunnel made of sand. It is here that shinobi may come to request missions or a visit with their leader from a secretary located at a lavish desk in the center of the main room. An entire curved wall is dedicated to mission postings; one simply must remove it from its place and take it over. Other points of interest include a space past the desk where the statues of previous Kazekages stand, a door that leads into a furnished sitting room for guests, and two staircases leading up.

The left staircase leads to the second floor. The first room here is actually a secondary headquarters for ANBU, and has several stationed for security purposes all hours of the day. No one gets anywhere else on this floor without proper clearance. A genjutsu has been set in place to make it look like there are many doors branching off from this room, but there are truly only two, one set to the left of the guard desk and one set to the right. The left door leads to the vault, where ryo and village scrolls are locked safely away from the populous. The right leads to another staircase, the only one that runs to a hidden floor between the second and the third, masked by the amorphous building structure.

This hidden floor is where the Kazekage resides. There is a reception area, although no secretaries or guards are stationed here--simply a room with a few chairs. A large, ornate door opens into a spacious office, where the Kazekage can usually be found working or plotting. There is one more door here, which presumably takes one to the area used by the village leader as an actual home. Considering the size of the building, it is safe to assume the lodgings are comfortable, with enough room for immediate family members if necessary.

The right staircase, back on that long-forgotten first floor, leads to the proper third floor of the residence. There are no sections here, just one rather large room lit up by a series of windows. It is here that the village elders meet to discuss politics with one another, and also where the Kazekage calls meetings larger than the office will hold. A long wooden table is set into the center of the room, lined by uniform chairs. The only real spectacle here is the larger, more decorative chair at the head of the table, reserved for the leader of the current meeting. A door in this room would take one to another staircase, the likes of which opens up onto the roof itself.

Yoko walked into the Sperhical building escaping the treacherous rays of the amber sun within Sunagakure. Her brown her followed down past her shoulders as she walked with a refine air to her. Her eyes were relaxed, calm.

"Tachiana Yoko!"

Her virgin, lucid voice was elegant, as if poetry had be swept into motion off her lips.

"I wish to be apart of Guard Duty!"

Yoko stared at the Secretary, her gaze penetrating, wry smile found its way to her lips, curling them seductively.

"That sounds right up my ally! I'll tag along!" A less graceful voice followed behind Yoko. Emerging from the same door a dark haired, flamboyant shinobi entered. Maki had hoped to find something to do to take her mind off of the incident outside the village. She had wished for a mission to help her relax. The woman before her, Yoko, seemed to be another shinobi of the same village, so she decided to help with the assignment. It was easy and paid a decent wage, so she didn't mind doing it at all.

Maki strolled behind Yoko, wrapping her left arm around Yoko's neck, and winking at her. "We fellow shinobi should help each other out, right?" She smiled playfully, looking to the woman she had intended to work with.

The secretary in question looked up from a paper she had been writing on, brown eyes blinking across at the kunoichi. A harassed expression flickered across her face; it was abundantly apparent that Yoko's seduction tactics would not work here. After all, she had been tending to Youka's whims for the past two years.. Either one learned to deal with a bipolar personality or they broke down rather quickly.

"Nice to meet you, Tachiana Yoko. I am Koizumi Hikaru," she said quite professionally, despite the sudden intrusion of a noisier kunoichi. Maybe she preferred the quieter demeanor of the first one. "Guard duty?" Normally, she would have forced the two shinobi to go pluck the mission paper from the wall for her, but this one was new; there was a copy already on her desk. The scroll was swept up along with a pen, their two names garnished across the bottom. Yes, she knew who the other shinobi was as well--a secretary was forced to remember the faces of the working populous. "Alright, accepted. Go make Sunagakure proud."

The mission scroll was handed out to them, a faint smile playing on her lips. "Write a full report of your doings and bring it back to me here. I will go over it and then, if it is satisfactory, you will get your reward." Whenever they took the scroll she would go back to her work, dismissing them.

Saito Kojiro wasn't one to really act the professional, and it wasn't surprising to anyone the way he casually stepped into the room to face the secretary placed neatly at the desk. With a feint smile, he approached, completely aware that verbal conversation wasn't all that necessary to get done what he wished to get done. A simple poster was set out, a man's fast painted finely on the parchment, with a good amount of text under. With one finger he pushed it against the paper, peering up to lock eyes with the secretary. "I want this one please!"

Kojiro, was a bounty hunter, long before his time as a shinobi. And while he possessed skills to become one, it wasn't till after the war that he was pressured into joining the village ranks. Thankfully, the chaos has left him able to retain both jobs.

Kojiro continued his usual up-beat smile, awaiting the response from the secretary, his nerves tingling with the excitement of being able to capture this criminal. And, if fate permitted, to slay him... But who knows?

It was quite refreshing to have such a quiet intruder upon her work space. Hikaru looked up from her paper, almost surprised to see a boy standing there. Had he not offered the bounty poster to her, well, it was hard to say if she would have noticed him at all. A bright smile was flashed as she picked up the specially-made stamp near the upper left-hand corner of her desk. "Of course. Have fun; do your village proud." Stamp! A big purple APPROVED was marked upon the mission scroll.

Amber eyes slowly flicked left and right casting out curious gazes as he took in the details of the secretary's room. His first venture into the kazekage's residence was proving to be a bit of a curious adventure, he wanted to inquire about a mission, and at the same time take a glimpse into what lavish living was. His expectations were, however, betrayed or at the very least only partially fufilled. The room was not so grandly opulent it was more on the refreshing or welcoming side, which he genuinely enjoyed.

As his fluid gait came to a slow halt, a few feet distanced between the secretary or who he assumed was the secretary and himself. He aimed to With a brief and to the best of his ability a friendly and benign greeting of Hello simply catch her attention. He followed up with his introduction, keeping up a amiable demeanor Yes, my name is Higan and I was wondering if you could sign an approval on a mission for me. It would be nice to have a friend to see in a place he planned to frequent.

Apparently, some sort of small gang calling themselves terrorists have targeted the postal service and have been stealing mail and beating couriers. There have been no reports of death yet, but tensions are rising and the couriers refuse to deliver to this section of the village anymore.. Something must be done. The shinobi will receive a mail satchel (must be returned) and a courier armband (also must be returned) and will be instructed to deliver items to the ghetto districts of the village. If the shinobi encounters the gang, they are instructed not to kill, but merely “teach them a lesson.” The gang itself is small and poses little threat to a trained shinobi, but be on your guard.

Yes, Higan would be very pleased with the decoration of the Kazekage residence--they were not a rich village, but the leader knew how to set up what she could to provide that homely feel. If the shinobi could not consider this a bastion of safety, what could they rely on?

"Hello." Hikaru took the piece of paper from him and opened it up, careful not to cause any creases to his neat work. The mission in question was glanced over and the she looked up at him once more, a smile playing on her lips. "This will suit you just fine. Do your village proud, okay? The Postal Service has been a wreck of late." That said, she picked up her stamp and marked the mission with big, purple words: ACCEPTED! Then it was handed back.

Thanks! I'll get this done Asap. He folded up the paper and stashed it in his pocket and turned about face and proceeded towards the door, one palm out in front he opened the door. The air conditioning gone and now the hot sun beating down on him. Oh great.

The doors opened once again, and in walked a rather energetic man, clothes dirtied, and hands speckled with dried blood. A smile was prominent on his disheveled face, a smile of victory. Two swords were buckled around his waste, one a reward from his battle, and the other his faithful steel companion for many years. Koji stopped in front of the secretary, declaring his success, "Yeah... Fujioka's behind bars, and I'm pretty sure he won't have that skill with his hands to break out again." There was comedy behind his words, proud of his own successful gruesome methods. "Yeah, would it be okay if you just send the reward to my apartment? I'm kinda tired... and dirty... heh." Without waiting for a response, he started back out the door, winded, and ready to sink cozily in the comfort of his own bed.

The young sunagakure shinobi, Raijû entered the kazekage tower with hopes of taking on a mission. The mission would surly be a benefit to the village, which honestly, was not the top priority of his list. He needed ryo in his pocket, hearing of a certain mission that would involve him catching a criminal, training. His footsteps echoed throughout the sand tunnel as he made his way through. Reaching the first floor of the tower, this is where all missions were granted. Quickly spotting the mission board, hanging on a wall of its own.

Making his way over to the mission board, both hands tucked safely inside his pockets. Glancing over the board slowly, looking for a particular mission, he would spot it in no time. Removing his left hand from his pocket, snagging the slip from the wall, turning his attention to the center of the room, heading over to the main desk where a line had already formed. Not very patient, he hoped the line moved quickly. A few minutes had passed before his turn in line, placing the mission on the desk. Locking eye's with the secretary, he would speak.

" I'm here for this mission..."

Without another word, placing his hands back in his pockets, he waited at her approval or denial.

Hikaru opened her eyes to see one of the young shinobi from not long ago coming back toward her desk. She smiled at him when he mentioned that he had caught the criminal. "I'll send your reward to your house right away. Thank you for a job well done!"

Sure, she was hoping that would be the last of them--she was done with all her paper work currently, and the end of her shift wasn't for quite some time. A nap couldn't hurt, especially with how inactive the village had been recently. Everyone still preferred to stay locked up in their houses or out in the streets fixing things than bugging her to see the Kazekage, which was well and good in her book. Unfortunately, just as the first Genin left another flounced through the door. She pursed her lips a bit, but put on a happy facade to please him.

"Welcome to the Kazekage residence!" the secretary greeted, but just as soon as the words were out of her lips the day seemed to change. Three more guests arrived, this time with files and paperwork that needed to be completed. As she took down their names and made small notes before dismissing them, she kept an eye on the shinobi who had taken stage at the back. When it was finally his turn she took the mission slip from him and grabbed her stamp, smacking it against the scroll. When she handed it back, it read a large APPROVED!

Pushing his way through this door had become a rather frequent activity for him, and he enjoyed each second of it. The homey building was a rather nice shelter from the arid climate of the outside world. He was, however, here on buisness and so he made his way to the secretary's table. Placing yet another flier on her table. Yes, today I think I'll be a bounty hounter. I might end up liking it. He meant this sincerely and especially at the moment as it was a hush but still widespread news that a criminal had escaped prison. As soon as she signed off on his sheet, he would be sure to make great haste toward the nearest clue or sighting of the criminal
