The Horizon [Iwa & Suna][Festival]

TOURNAMENT CELEBRATION AREA

In celebration of the Iwa and Suna alliance a great tournament is being held, along witch much celebration marking the start of friendship between the two great villages. This is the celebration area, a wide expanse of grassy plain around the oasis mixed with pristine white sands and the sparkling blue waters of the Oasis. There are a multitude of stalls entertainment performances for all Shinobi of both villages.


Rules!

• No fighting! ANBU from both villages will be patrolling the area.
  
• No training, this is a celebration so none of that.
  
• To receive the 100exp for partaking you must post multiple times, and decent posts please.

OGOSURI

[/b] which ever so gently made its way back to this monument. At the entrance there are a series of elevators that spread wide around its bottom. With the presence of one finger did the ‘ding’ alarm its magnificence to sway downward to his position. A bell would ring a series of three times before he calmly stepped inside – awaiting no one to follow him.

His place was atop this monument where the grand festival were upheld. Aero was not the type to be scared by daring heights such as these. He camly waltzed his way exiting the elevator into the grassy domain which served for grounds within the festivities. Eyes of aqua transitioned to and fro the grassy plains which crowded its upholstery. A series of games scatter the area with water slides and cotton candy podiums.

It was as if he were a kid again… the memories of his past flashed before him swiftly as he took his seat atop a series of stairs which overlooked all these festivities. One chair engraved the suna emblem and the other bore the iwa trademark. Aero sat within his respected seat and watched as this bowl of fruitful entertainment become filled with its denizens. A smile peered across his face for a second but his forehead calmly rested within his palm shortly after as he attempted to rest.

Awesome! The wide grassy plain filled with shinobi of both the Sand and Earth villages was a sight that was entirely new to the genin, mingling people of all ages enjoying themselves having made the same trip he did to the festivities and already occupying themselves with the various stalls that brought the entertainment. A smile crept to the face of Zorishi as he took in the surroundings, his spear reflecting the light with every few steps he took and his short purple scarf rippling every few seconds with each gentle breeze that passed by. Finally his dark eyes had caught something interesting, a shuriken target booth!

There were several older males already there taking their chances at it, a couple of them with girlfriends they were trying to impress albeit unsuccessfully. There were 10 targets lined up side by side that were needed to be hit dead centre with only a 3 second time limit. Multiple attempts brought only one winner in ten as the pockets of the man who ran the stall got thicker and thicker with ryo - he was certainly going to eat well tonight! Z finally was able to take his chance as he reached the front of the line. The man of around 40 years and 188 centimeters who ran the stall looked down towards him and explained the rules, stating that succeeding meant keeping his ryo as well as winning a prize that commemorated the occasion.

Ten shuriken were given, Zorishi placing them all in his right hand. "Step back and be amazed!" with that he jumped backwards about a meter preparing to make his throw just as the man yelled GO, unfortunately his moment was not to be as some asshat standing just to the side of him stuck his foot out which tripped Z up just as he was going into his throwing motion. "Nooo!" falling backwards he still released the shuriken which fittingly went flying in all directions almost taking out several bystanders just before he landed square on his back - impact bringing stars to his eyes as he looked up and laughter broke out at his expense, the owner of the booth now standing directly over him.

"No more tries for you yeah? I'd give up this ninja thing if I were you kid," shaking his head the man went back to the booth to wait for the next contestant, Z still on the ground having failed. This wasn't going to bring him down though! Fun was still to be had, but that would have to happen when he could stand up again as for now his butt hurt a little too much, laying here was good.

Within a circular booth of seats and a black marbled table in the middle, Hiromasa was laid back, chillin like the damn villain he was with a couple of well-endowed and stacked women wrapped with in his arms who'd been spooned by another couple of women. Even with his bronze skin, his cheeks shined with a red tint, goddamn he was already drunk as fuck, he'd been popping bottles of white russian, bloody mary's, and taking absurd amounts of shots. Just him and 6 other women, they'd been playing drinking games with their sultry parts. Today was a fucking blast, despite Hiro not even know what this was all for, he just got word that there was a festival with liquor, which was obviously in a adults only section. Ironically Hiro was only 17, but did he give a fuck? Nope, everyone knew what he was all about and had a second thought after thinking of testing him. Women in nothing more than mere bikini's or coned nipple ribbons danced and gyrated upon Hiro's lap as his lungs pulled at his cigarette while taking shots from a pair of melon sized breast. Being smothered he began to speak as though someone was flicking his lips up and down with a finger, well, they were, but just not with fingers!! "OoooOooO MmMmmmY gaaWdd" He pushed the girl off his lap as he had begun to stand, "WHOOOOOP haha, I need some fresh air, ya'll givin me blue balls like no tomorrow *Hiccup!*." Inebriated, he staggered out of the door nearly falling in every direction, it was as if his balance said 'fuck my life'. Curious, a couple of the women emerged from the 'club' supporting him as he walked toward the Kazekage who he'd just notice thanks to his attire. "*Hiccup!!* Hehe the Kazekage eh, the big man who made it all possible LETS GIVE A FUCKIN ROUND OF APPLAUSE!!!" Radiating with endless charisma, all those around began to show their many thanks in tears, applause, and even a bra or two. "Looks like *Hiccup!* you could use some fun time, I gots plenty waiting for me back there, so how about it Kazekage-sama." "

After the relaxing day of rest, Jens was ready to go wild. He may have his own style of 'going wild,' but he'd still make his impact in this country. He knew he had time until the tournament started, so he'd take some time to enjoy the celebration for the tournament. He wouldn't break out into a fight though, simply to avoid wasting any energy of getting injured before the chance to fight.

Jens was wowed by the scenery of this plateau that was the center of this festivity. He skimmed through the different booths, which basically summed it all up to an average fair. He hadn't the chance to adventure too much, as he walked down the street, pink cotton candy in hand.

He stopped to the sand of someone ranting their superiority to a crowd. He watched the man boast, as he made his attempt at a shuriken throwing contest. This man utterly failed, making Jens wish to add insult to injury. As he walked up, he spotted the man, dazed on the ground. He chuckled at the sight, observing his sunagakure headband. Perfect chance. He called out to the guy as he nonchalantly leaned against the wall of the booth. "Impressive shuriken skills. I knew that Iwa was better, but c'mon man!"

Jens wasn't trying to pick a fight, he was just being the jackass that he always was.

There was a voice, apparently for him. Z's eyes moved to track where it came from until meeting his target, one of the Earth it seemed if it wasn't obvious enough from his words - words that made Zorishi's eyes light up wanting to retaliate but thinking better of it - he would have probably done the same thing after all.

Slowly bringing himself to his feet and knocking dirt off of his hoody Zori kept his eyes fixed towards the Iwa nin. "Iwa? What in holy hell could be so great about a bunch of ####ing rocks lying around?" a master of inter-village relations was the genin. Although he was still feeling heated from the embarrassment of earlier a deep breath was taken to calm himself down, as part of the host nation it was for the best and closer to his nature anyway.

The eyes of the boy changed from being fixated on the Iwa nin back to observing the wide variety of people occupying themselves, it seemed the number had grown even from a few minutes back as more from the Earth village were making their arrival. This was even bigger than he had imagined. Taking it all in he brought focus back to the other boy who looked to be around his age if a bit older, perhaps they were thinking the same thing. Keeping his face stoic a second set of words came.

"You think your village is better.." his right hand began to rise towards the other boy, eyes beginning to crawl into a squint with the corners of his lips forming a smirk - it would look like malicious intent from the outside looking in. "Think you're better than me.." the hand formed into a fist and he took a step towards the other, Z's dark eyes staring a hole through his face.

"I've got news for you Chuckles," with those words his left hand moved to his own left hip, his right hand unforming the fist to now reveal a 'thumbs up' pose. "I, ZORISHI KRUPA, will be the one to bring fame and fortune to this grand village!!!" a toothy grin came to his face before moving his hands behind his head in satisfaction.

[/b] One of them yelled as he finally shut the door. He rode the elevator to the top, it wasn't a very long wait. Must have been a new building, of all the times Sui had visited this area he had never seen it before. The door opened and he walked out onto the terrace. He walked fifteen yards, from the elevators too the thrones. He walked up to the Kazekage and briefly said hello before falling into the chair next to him.

With that he’d take the bottle obscuring from the female beside him entitled grey goose. He would pass it to the throne chair where a couple of glasses sat within the middle. He’d take another pitcher and pour the glass into it and place the glass neatly beneath his feet. With a slight flick of his wrist would the liquid courage so daintily rest back within the cup he had so eagerly prepared. With a slight swirl and a tug he would have taken the first shot, squinting his face to the uninvited taste in his throat. Aero had never been a heavy drinker but he knew how to handle its haughty aftermath.

A slight cough would re-assure his posture as he slid back down into his chair as his eyelids formed a good posture making him look more relaxed. A burp would escape him as he looked towards the drunkard fellow.

The child had fallen right into Jens' bait. Though his response wasn't something Jens found too amusing. Now he was mocking his homeland. He didn't care much for the lifeless shell of a country, but he had to represent it here, so he may as well do what he was meant to do. His smile faded, and turned into a serious look as the man spoke his high and mighty superior act. In a fury, he retaliated, "As if a freakin' desert is any better!" He was steamed, but he knew he'd get in trouble if he attacked the man, so he took a better approach as he eyed the shuriken booth.

"I, Jens Froto, the marvel of Iwagakure, shall prove our superiority here! At this shuriken stand!" He strutted his way over to the shuriken game, most of the spectators who were waiting in line where amused by the two kids and their little argument, allowing Jens to take the front. He took a bite out of his cotton cany before putting it in his pants pocket, where it better be safe.

With a cocky smile on his face, the manager of the game handed him three shuriken. "G'luck kid." Is all he muttered, as he was obviously enamored with this little challenge. The iwa genin observed his target, as it had red and white rings, with a yellow star in the center to mark the bulls-eye. As the word 'GO' was shouted, Jens quickly ripped loose all three shuriken, with no means of aim. The first two dead on missed, with the third only nicking the border of the target. His jaw dropped at the sight of missing, and this caused more awkward chuckles out of the audience who expected more out of the guy who boasted dominance.

He tilted his head in shame, expecting the suna nin to begin mocking of some sort.

The Kazekage stood up to him, taking the bottle for himself, it was kinda odd and it took him off guard that he even accepted, guess you truly can't judge a book by its cover. "I'm fine, I'm fine...go give the head honcho a bit of fun will ya, the man deserves it. Staggering to a seat about two spaces away from he plopped down in his seat as he whistled, calling for another woman who came from the club, struttin her shit like a diva she was. Long legs, curvy body, beautiful face, and chocholate skin, Hiromasa could only lick his lips as he basked in her beauty. "mmmhm goddamn girl, take a seat next to daddy." Happily obliging, she sat in a curled ball, snuggling up to her shoulder as Hiro teased her lips with his own eyes, but that little act was cut short at the kazekage's inquiry. "Names Hiromasa Minataru, just an average underdog HAHA. But I hear this tournament is gonna be legit, though i doubt i'd be any competition." LIES, ALL LIES. Being as humble as possible he led others to believe he wasn't shit, he wanted to. He'd save his little above average abilities for the tournament itself, crushing ninja from both the village of stone and his own. "

The desert was only a tricky place once if you kept the all the facts and details from the first time it tricked you. The Sando Saggar in all it's glorious crafting savvy beauty was the perfect backdrop to the location of the Iwagakure/Sunagakure festival. There was no tournament signups he could readily see but there was games galore, a plethora of performances and more Sunagakure headbands than he cared to count. Amongst the sea of "Fat i" shaped headband symbols he looked for one like his own, one that carried the the sign on two nearly over lapping rocks. With no luck he returned to his original search of the girl with the gourd. It was really a shame he hadn't gotten her name but it was just as well, he could remember that face.

His need to spot a familiar face extended to spotting the Kazekage as well, whose eyes still stared at him at the back of his mind. He saw neither of these people and not even the other guy who was there in the meeting on that day. But it was just as well. The festival was big but it wasn't that big. Try as he might he found none of things he was looking for outside of the obvious one, which was the location of the festival itself. Knowing this it was time to return to Iwa and lead the others here although someone tricky scratched at the back of mind. His paranoia would run rampant he let it so he had to choice but to buckle it down and make the voyage back to Earth Country and eventually Iwa.

As he made his way to the exit of the carnival he heard someone being loud and speaking on the superiority of the Stone Village. Another genin. Without break a sweat he crept up to him, unsure of his name and lacking the time to wait around for it. The guy was at a shuriken throwing booth with others from Suna and seemingly enjoying their company the friendly rivalry of Iwa and Suna showing in it's most innocent form. He hated to piss on anyone's parade but it had to be done. The Tsuchikage has requested that all Iwa-shinobi return to the village so that we may arrive as one and in proper unison. It's dangerous to venture here alone as the desert can be a terrible and unforgiving place to outsiders. His face was serious though he was lying through his teeth although had he asked he was sure the careful and cautious Tsuchikage Kaguya Kira would have said exactly what Sen claimed he had said. It was just bad manners for Iwa to come to the festival all dispersed and without order. It would set a bad example.

You finish this little showdown if it means that much to you but I'm going back now. When you're finished head back and meet up with the rest of us. The Tsuchikage will be waiting. With that he scanned the area looking for any more Iwa-nin, the Kazekage or the girl with the gourd. When he saw none of those things he exited the carnival. Tsuchi no Kuni his next objective.

The sound of a voice who was calling out to Jens was something he picked up on quick. He acknowledged it to be another man from Iwagakure. Wondering if this man would aid Jens in his attempt to show their superiority, but instead he was being told to return home. Jens, right away, gave a look of displeasure. That walk through the desert was an 8 hour walk, the hell he was doing it again.

To himself he said, staring at the booth, muttering, "The fuck would I go back to Iwagakure just so I could walk back again?! That's like a contradiction, the Tsuchikage can forget it!" He was annoyed with this, and that man. He was definitely in no position to command other ninja! He turned to the booth, "Set me up with another round!"

The man running the booth handed him three more shuriken. In another attempt, he ended up doing slightly better, one of them lodging in the target, but nowhere near the star. "Fuck!" He was so desperately wishing he could prove himself better than this suna ninja, he just created a reputation and couldn't even defend it.

Jens..Froto, well there was one person who was a potential competitor in the tournament. It seemed the rock joke had pinched his nerves a bit which sent the boy into defending his own honour, this time his attempt at the shuriken booth which ended up being almost as embarrassing an attempt as Z's.

Containing his laughter for a moment a similar comment about the poor display of skill was about to be said when another Iwa nin came from behind with his speech aimed towards Jens. It was an odd suggestion, all of their village was to report back already? The festivities had just started! This piqued Z's interest while listening, a claim that it was dangerous to be here.

Was this man telling the truth? Without allowing time for even a response he had disappeared as swiftly as he had arrived. It was truly an odd suggestion..especially with such a big event already in progress and the Kazekage already sat watching over the proceedings..or was he, it seemed he had disappeared making it even odder. Of course he wasn't too familiar with the political side of village affairs so this could be perfectly normal. It seemed Jens didn't see returning as practical and pretty much ignored his fellow countryman's words going back for another go at the shuriken.

Attention from Zorishi was now to Jens, a second failed attempt at the booth spared from mocking for now. "What was that all about? I thought this was all meant to be an alliance, that guy said we could be dangerous to your traveling shinobi - and so many are here safe it doesn't make sense for all of you to leave already!"

[Hopalong]

The suna genin he was recently conversing with, Zorishi, seemed to be confused, possibly even offended, by the other man's line. Jens was just here for fun, he wouldn't let some jackasses from his village turn this into a war... yet. Seems he'd have to preserve the peace. He looked in the direction that the shinobi walked away, grabbing his cotton candy and taking another bite, he looked back to the kid and spoke, "I get the feeling he was talking more about the desert, we're not accustomed to it, so it's possible something could happen. Besides I made it through so going back definitely wouldn't help." This was starting to get into an awkward conversation for the adolescent, so he desperately scaled the area for something to divert the subject to a new matter.

He spotted another game, rather interesting actually. A rubber mallet appeared to be used to hit a lever, which kicked up some sort of iron thing upwards. The challenge appeared to be to hit the bell at the top of the contraption. Jens had heard of these before, but never really encountered one. With an interested smile, he looked to the ninja, "Think you can win at that?" His finger gestured to the booth. It was easier for him to compete than it was to explain things.
