- kurai often wears a slim, black, hooded, sleeveless jumpsuit which falls to about mid-thigh and a high collar. beneath this jumpsuit are black tights that are attached to his black ninja sandals. large, loose gloves cover his fingers.
- kurai's body is thin to say the least. he has very thin features that often end up having him being mistaken for a woman. Consequentially, it assists him in dexterity. His eyes are a piercing golden hue, with bleach blonde hair that makes him stand out to his peers.
- kurai's body is near perfect, save for his incredibly dark hands which have been stained a pure obsidian. everything from his wrist down are pitch black, which is why he covers them with his black gloves. the cause for this discoloration has yet to be discovered by him.

Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)

Special: Flickering is forward-moving, meaning the user will rush almost instantly to wherever they are facing. The user can flicker once per thread, plus once more each time retrained.
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique, it allows a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed - to an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. Such a feat is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds they would otherwise be unable to reproduce. In the end, the user will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly should they need it. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

Description: A basic yet effective Raiton technique, the user focuses a bit of chakra all over their body, letting the lightning gather and then quickly exploding, effectively providing a blinding light that leaves all within the range blind. Useful for disorientation and quick get-aways.

Hiraishin Kiru (Human Lightning Rod)

Special: Lightning damage is enhanced by a single rank. Once the victim is struck by lightning, the user is required to re-apply the effects. If the victim is not struck by lightning before they leave the given battle thread, the effects are neutralized and the jutsu must be reapplied.
Description: As the name implies, this simple technique allows the user to alter their internal electric charge temporarily, so that all Raiton chakra subsequently made by the user (as well as natural lightning!) is more susceptible to strike the victim, as well as damage them higher than normal. This alteration usually occurs during some form of contact, where the user’s charged appendage can simple tough, strike or graze the victim and quickly place the effects on them.

Bougaihouso no Jutsu (Wave Jammer Technique)

Special: Affects all electronics within a 10 meter radius, plus 10 more reach time retrained. No other jutsu may be performed while jamming is held.
Description: A mostly supplementary technique, this allows the user to create an invisible sphere thirty meters all around that will serve to jam and interfere with any radio signals attempting to pass through. Effectively, a target’s communicator can be knocked off, stopping them from calling for back-up as long as you’re around.

Kyodan Anshu no Jutsu (Electrified Projectile Technique)

Special: Can be used on any projectile or throwing weapon like Senbon or Kunai, or anything that isn’t as big as a main weapon, such as a broadsword or shield.
Description: Considered supplementary because the user can rely on this technique anytime they have a projectile in hand without worrying about handseals, the user concentrates a small amount of Raiton chakra into the metallic weapon, set to disperse whenever said weapon comes in contact with its target. When stuck by an enhanced projectile, the user will receive extra damage, as well as many small shocks. Highly effective against opponents susceptible to lightning in general.

Matoudai Zeusu (Strike of Zeus)

Special: The bolt is about as long as a regular katana, and glows an intense deep blue. If the javelin pierces the victim, they will feel additionally ‘burn/shock’ damage because the bolt acts as concentrated beacon of lightning. Each time retrained, the user adds 5 extra meters to their range.
Description: Named after the fabled imaginary leader of the sky and thunder, this technique allows the user to feel like Zeus himself as they summon a tight bolt of electricity in their hand, similar to a javelin, so that they could throw it with appeasing accuracy. The bolt will move through the sky faster than most projectiles, and carries deadly accuracy in the right hands. Upon making contact with the target, it immediately bursts into a vertical cylinder storm that surrounds the victim and delivers a plethora of constant shock damage.

Denkou Bunshin no Jutsu (Shocking Clone Technique)

Special: Clone speed matches that of the user, and can go anywhere the user can. Up to one clone can be made at a time, plus one more each time retrained. Explosion range covers 5 meters.
Description: With this technique, the Raiton user is able to call upon aid from a perfect copy of themselves. Comprised purely of lightning, this clone retains the user movement speed and can share linked mental judgement. Best of all, due to its flowing essence, many solid attacks pass through the clone, shocking instead whatever was used to strike them. Finally, when defeated, the clone explodes into a storm of lightning that aims to take over the nearest opponent available, taking over their body whole as it is shocked.

Sutangan no Jutsu (Limb Stunning Technique)

Special: If used on a person’s head, they will be knocked out for a single post. Limbs are usually numbed for 1/2 of a turn. Stunning effect cannot be stacked.
Description: The electric influence that exists over the human body and its muscles allows one to control the later through unconventional methods, including through the means of chakra. After charging a small electric shock in the user’s hands, one can approach their victim and place the charged hand onto a limb or muscle on their body, unleashing the pent up shock and rendering the aforementioned target useless for the rest of the turn. Although simple, it’s highly effective when the user is faster than the victim, and can outmaneuver them as they strike. Also highly effective for keeping captives in place!

Fuuinjutsu Ikkou (Storage Sealing Technique)

Special: Allows the storage of various different items either onto a scroll or onto oneself via the generic seal. Can seal items equal to highest rank known. Sealing and unsealing items costs a 'C' ranked amount of chakra per batch time.
Description: This technique is a standard ninja skill which allows a ninja to summon an assortment of items that have been stored using fūinjutsu. Scrolls are the most common choice for item storage. When needed, the owner will activate the seals releasing their item or weapon of choice. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. Weapons are the most commonly sealed objects, with puppet jutsu also using this by having these hidden inside various compartments as a means of increasing their own killing potential as well as hiding useful weapons from the opponent's sight.

Kagura Shingan (Kagura Mind's Eye)

Special: When first learned, the Sensor can extend their Mind's Eye up to 10 meters in any direction. Each new rank extends the range by 10 more meters, for a maximum of 50 meters. Upon learing the 'S' ranked version, the user will no longer have to close their eyes nor form handseals to activate.
Description: Kagura Shingan is an advanced Sensory Ninjutsu technique used by all sensors, and serves as the root to the entire sensory tree. After a series of handseals, the sensor closes their eyes and uses their inate ability to detect chakra in order to determine the location of their opponent by the faintest of chakra trails, as well as discerning the size of an approaching unseen force, and even their chakra capacity.

Special: Allows the Sensor to determine whether a particular target is lying or not by the chakra fluctuations triggered.
Description: Once the sensor begins to understand how to properly mold and detect their chakra, they will learn to look into the specifics of others. With this technique, a sensor is able to detect a truth from a lie by observing the way the chakra waves fluctuate within the one being interrogated. An excellent shinobi tool.

Shintenshin no Jutsu (Mind Body Change Technique)

Special: Spirit moves slightly slower than user's top-speed, in a straight line. Mind body change can only target victims within 10 meters for up to 1 turn, plus 2 more meters and 1 extra turn each time retrained. Control can only be broke by opponent's with greater chakra capacities (bijuu, samehada, or by simply having more jutsu).
Description: Shintenshin no Jutsu is a specialized secret ninjutsu technique originally used for spying, and serves as the base for all Yamanka related capture. The ninja forms the needed handseals and then projects their spirit out of their body into another ninja or an animal. Unfortunately, the spirit flies in a straight line at a slow speeds; if the target moves and avoids the incoming spirit, the ninjas body falls lifeless until the spirit can find its way back to the body several minutes later. Because of the risk involved, the ninja must be very careful. While inhabiting the body of their opponent, the target still remains in their mind but their mental processes are forced aside as the ninja takes control. However if the target has strong mental fortitude, they can overpower the intruder and force them out of their body. Finally, while in the body of their target, if the ninja takes sudden physical damage, their original body will be hurt as well.

Special: Range of jutsu is dependent on the number of times the Shintenshin no Jutsu has been retrained. When first learned, Ōgon no Kusari can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: After performing the Shintenshin no Jutsu, the user is typically lost within an ephemeral plain, incapable of finding their ethereal body instantly. This jutsu fixes that. When performing the Shintenshin jutsu, the user will be capable of returning to their body instantly in case the technique either fails or misses, allowing them to prevent their bodies to be taken advantage of in case of a mishap.

Special: Range of jutsu is dependant on the number of times the Shintenshin no Jutsu has been retrained. When first learned, Gōruden Yajirushi can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Considering the speed of the Shintenshin no Jutsu, there is the constant exposure to failure that the Yamanaka faces with its every use. In order to prevent this, there is the possibility of increasing its speed so that it will have a better chance to at hit the enemy. This increases the speed of the Shintenshin jutsu to be as fast at the user's top speed when casting.

Shinyomi no Jutsu (Mind Reading Technique)

Special: Must be aware of someone's existence in order to read their thoughts telepathically. Can also travel as far as the Yamanaka's Shintenshin can travel. By retraining the user can read up to 1 more mind
Description: One of the Yamanaka's most essential ability involves the transient nature of their minds and souls. In this case, by intermingling the secrets behind the techniques which allow their soul to travel forth, the Yamanaka projects their chakra around so that they can hear the minds thoughts of those around them. Essentially Shinyomi allows the Yamanaka entry into what a person is thinking, giving them them a preemptive edge in battle. While using Shinyomi the Yamanaka cannot move or use any other jutsu that requires movement. Can only read current thoughts they are having an not delve into the opponents mind. Because of expelling ones mind, the Yamanaka cannot move one turn after this jutsu is dispelled, but they can still use their clansmen jutsu.
