Chomachi was happy with himself as he got home from the local weapon shop. He had made a purchase of over-sized shuriken and explosive tags. As he sat at a table his spoils laid out before him he would go to work. Opening one of the packs of explosive tags Chomachi would extract on and look at it for a bit almost undecided on where on the giant shuriken before laying the note on one of the bent edges so it was divided in half long ways. Pressing the note smooth against the metal it would bring a devious smile to his face as he checked to see if the note was secured. Rotating the four point throwing star, Chomachi would pull another tag and place it on the next spire. Again and again with a calculated gaze the lad would place the notes.
With six notes left in the pack and not wanting to make the shuriken top heavy, Chomachi Akimichi would flip it over and go over the same process once again until there was eight explosive tags upon the shuriken. Chomachi would hold off on the last two notes from the pack as he fished out the coiled length of ninja wire from his satchel. Using the last two tags like tape the lad would secure one end of the string to the inside circle that was constructed to work as a rolling-element bearing do the giant shuriken could spin while still in its wielders hands. Happy with his set up on the first giant shuriken, the Akimichi lad would place the whole set up in his satchel and seeing as he only needed one other pack of explosive tags he would place one in his satchel as well.
Turning his attention to the second Giant shuriken on the table and the left over pack of exploding notes the lad would get to work. Once again his fingers gently smoothing the notes so that each one of the eight tags ran flushed against the metal and each tag was centered so that the crease in the metal bent them in half longways. He wanted the shuriken after all to fly properly even with the few extra grams of weight that would increase the projectiles lethal capabilities by ten fold. The pun he knew to be silly even though it brought him a chuckle. Finally it would be time to hook up the ninja wire and this one he would pull from his pocket. The small yet strong string Secured to the spin grip on the inside of the giant throwing star.
His belly grumbled in protest at the lack of snacks during the small crafting session. It caused him to look up at the clock to see that so much time had passed that if he did not hurry He would be late on the B-rank mission he was invited to join. Rushing out of his house with a quick stop through the kitchen to grab a bag of chips, Chomachi Akimichi would indeed be off.
