Appearance: Arcine stands at roughly 5 foot 7, and has a rather slim build. His body looks frail, although he is surprisingly durable for his appearance. While he isn't very strong, he is pretty average in physique. He has black hair of medium length, just long enough to reach the top of his eyes, and on the back of his head to the middle of his neck. He has bright green eyes, almost appearing to glow slightly in the right light. Below that he has an average sized nose and a rather slim pair of lips. His expression normally resembling that of an amused superior, a slight smirk and smiling eyes. He has slender fingers and arms, perfect for handling small items like coins and cards with ease. His legs are a bit longer than average for his height, giving him a thinner frame.
Apparel: Arcine has a rather repetitive wardrobe, usually wearing variations of the same outfit no matter where he is. He wears a pair of black pants, made of varying materials depending on where he is at the time. For casual activites they tend to be jeans, although on missions or places where he expects lots of activity they are looser and lighter cloth. He also wears a black, long sleeved shirt with a white tee shirt or vest over it. Normally the tee shirt is worn in casual time, while he wears a vest fitted with weapon pouches or pockets for missions, made of a slightly tougher material. On his hip he wears a small pouch, the only contents being a few coins and a deck of cards. And next to that is usually his combat and mission gear. On his hands he wears a pair of leather, fingerless gloves to hide his scar, and to offer some protection while fighting or just preforming normal activites.

Personality: Arcine is a rather interesting person. As far as his friends know he is something of an adrenaline junky, taking uneeded risks and gambling things that normal people wouldn't dare to bet, like betting that he could stab himself in the left hand without screaming. He won that bet too. The 5 best terms usable to describe Arcine are: A Risktaker, Curious, Devious, Caring, and Merciless.
Arcine is known as 'The Gambler' to some, and prefers that title as it fits him quite well. He is someone who loves the risk involved with gambling, and the rush of taking that risk. He is more willing, and prefers, to take a risk as long as the pay out is worth it in his eyes. This is not to be mistaken with recklessness, as many people often do. While Arcine enjoys risks, he always balances out the risk and reward. He might withold from a fatal blow on an opponent in a fight, if he thinks he has a good chance of capturing them instead. But if he is at a disadvantage already, and he might not be able to turn the fight around then he would deliver the fatal stroke and end the danger.
Along with this, Arcine is a very curious person. Often times he takes risks in order to learn more about something, or simply because he wants to see the outcome. To him, certain knowledge is just as valuable as money or the actual reward, and is willing to risk things for it. This can be viewed as a weakness, as knowledge can be used to distract him, but along with being a risktaker, he won't recklessly run into something if the risk is too high.
Of course, any good gambler has to be capable of lying and tricking others. What good is a gambler without his poker face? Arcine is very devious and tricky by nature, seeking and finding as many ways as he can to tip the scale in his favor. Rigging something before hand, a well placed bomb, or even something as low down as striking a sleeping opponent or an opponent who can't defend themselves. Hostages? To him they can be leverage, although he isn't excessively cruel. While he is willing to do many things to win, he still has morals. Such as not endangering children and innocents not involved in the incident.
Arcine's last two, most defining traits seem rather contradictive of eachother. But the traits vary based on the specific people involved. Arcine is very caring towards those he trusts and considers allies or friends. Willing to risk much more for his friends, Arcine watches their backs and covers them in combat. Although for those he considers enemies, he is the exact opposite. He cares little for those who would harm him or his friends, and can become merciless towards that opponent. While he won't harm innocents not involved (he is rather neutral towards people he doesn't know), people related to the one he is targeting are fair game, as long as they will actually aid him in his goal. He isn't a mindless killer, although he has no qualms with death when needed.

Acting like a radar, it allows all sound-users to truly have an edge in combat! Its only downfall is too much noise concealing their target or loud sounds harming the user.
Note: Like all sound-enhancing technique, extremely loud or sharp noises will severely disrupt this process and hinder the user, causing disorientation and or nausea for one turn.

A very straight forward and offensive technique, Kiai allows the user to attack multiple targets at once with a powerful, almost deafening scream. Note: This technique induces disorientation, lack of balance, and deafness for a duration of two posts. While screaming, the user must remain still. Moving, in any form (dodging, running, ducking, etc), immediately ends the technique. This technique has a two post cool down.

{MASTERIES}Tier One - Dream within a Dream: Although Genjutsu is a very powerful art, its fervor is very much so dampened by the fact that once it's been revealed to be nothing more than illusion, combating the art is relatively easy. However, illusionists are known for their trickery -- not their brawn. For a single increment of Chakra (equivalent to Genjutsu recast + Low), the user may immediately recast their last Genjutsu (so long as it was either broken via pain or Kai) or a lower rank Genjutsu (cost equivalent to new layered Genjutsu + Mid) free of hand seals. This can lead victims to believe that they are stuck in the Genjutsu, regardless of what they do or have escaped but in fact have not.
