Throughout the many generations that ninja life has existed, there has always been one thing that has been a common goal shared by the strong and the weak, the rich and the poor, the king and the peasant. That one goal is to obtain more of whatever their desired construct is. Whether it be power, money, land, or people, everyone wants more of whatever this world has to offer. Ninja have even developed a technique for summoning, which brings their desired constructs to them. But with all the greed there is in this world, where does the line we cannot morally cross land? Even further, what happens when we cross that line? That in fact is the origin of this technique.
I have already explained that the ninja’s greed is such that they have even devised techniques to draw their possessions to them even across great distances with their summoning techniques, but their greed knows no bounds when it comes to assisting them in battle. As such it would stand to reason that they would try expanding upon this summoning technique, to make its reach even further. That logic would prove true and would have its beginning with a small village no longer known to the world.
There once was a small and budding village hidden deep within the claw country. It was once called the village hidden in the beast. Though they were the smallest and newest of all hidden villages they were determined to raise themselves to the same level as that of the five great nations. This village was made up of mere remnants of shinobi who were either too disgraced, or to injured to be moved back to their village at the time. Many fell in love with the land and just remained, organizing themselves accordingly. There elected kage knew that in the smoking ashes of the war a flame could easily be relit and as such set to increasing the new villages abilities. This is where his science department came on the scene.
Many of the “disgraced” individuals who stayed in the village where there because it offered them a clean slate. This slate was, for most of them, not to remove combat failures, but to remove their darker, behind the scenes deeds. Most of them were scientific minds who during the war had put their skills to use developing new, and sometimes forbidden ways to kill enemies. The Yajuukage saw great potential in their minds however. He was a man of ethics, but he knew that if any sort of fighting broke out once more his village would not survive unless it had some sort of “ace in the hole” to fall back on. That ace he would leave to these misunderstood minds to find for him.
With the Yajuukage’s funding, the scientists setup a lab on the outskirts of the village. There first ideas were rather fruitless, especially because they mostly required alterations to the physical body, and since the Yajuukage was unwilling to use the village’s ninja as subjects they continuously hit impasses. As such, they ended up going a different rout. Instead of working with body and mind alteration, they decided they would work with altering the playing field. Many ninja who work with release techniques generally are limited by their surroundings. This proved especially true for those who were affiliated with the snow, sand, water and wood release. The scientists’ idea was basically to create something to change the entire battle field from one thing, or place, to another. It was meant to give their shinobi the home field advantage no matter where they were.
With this premise, many different ideas arose. The documentation of such ideas is sketchy, mainly because the village wanted to keep as much of their activity secret as they could. The most promising thing that survived from the lab was the idea based on the summoning technique. They were trying to develop a technique to store large section of earthen material, so it could be summoned out to change the battle field. The main trouble they had with this was that they had no scrolls capable of handling the shear amount of material they were trying to seal away to summon later. Because of this, the scientists elected to perform tests and created what they labeled as a pocket dimension. How the technique worked was the seal would be placed in an area equal to the amount of material they were moving, and then would open the pocket dimension with the summoning technique, and the substance would be moved. Much like saving things in scrolls, only it was big enough to encompass the entirety of the material.
Through careful testing they had thought they had come up with a very viable technique. As such, they continued practicing it and eventually got to the test stage where they would actually open the pocket dimension to put the material into it for transportation. They made the seal around their lab and activated it. Documentation of what happened ended there. No remembers from that time is alive anymore either so it is impossible to come to a conclusive point, but all the evidence points to something going terribly wrong. On the spot where the village hidden in the beast was, there is now only half the buildings left for ruins, the rest being a flat circular plane. All that can be confirmed is that soon after these tests, the villages people left, and the Yajuukage vanished into obscurity.
Black Hole Seal[/u]
Rank: S
Type: Fuuinjutsu
Range: See Description, kinjutsu
Special: The Activated Stage is a pool of blackness which sucks everything in the area into it, never to be heard from again. After placing the marks in the ground the user activates their handseals to set it off.
Description: While not active the seal looks like 3 circles inside on another, carved into the earth. The shape is very easy to see from above, but when on the ground sometimes they are unrecognizable. After it has been activated the area where the circles once were breaks away and becomes a pool of blackness. The area around it may or may not (see description) start to be sucked in. See the description for more details on the effects.
After placing three circles in any given area (one inside the other), the user will perform the necessary technique. After the activation technique is used, the lines which form the circles will begin to glow very brightly. After a moment the ground the cirle is formed on will seem to begin cracking and then suddenly will drop out falling into what would appear to be a pool of blackness. The size of the circles have a lot to do with the technique. The largest circle corresponds to the size of the hole. The larger this circle is, the bigger the black hole itself will be. The maximum diameter a single person can create is 80 meters, draining them entirely. To make the hole bigger then that it would require at least one other shinobi’s chakra. The second largest circle corresponds is the stability circle. It needs to be exactly half way between the inner and outer circle or else as soon as the hole forms it will collapse in on itself and basically be useless. The third, final, and smallest circle is meant to control the strength of the gravitational pull the field has on things to its sides. No matter what the hole has enough strength to pull anything 100 meters above it into its depths, but with the weakest level of this circle the hole will not be able to pull anything in from around its edges. As the size of this circle increases so to does the width of its pull. The biggest the inner circle can be with one person creating it is 20 meters in diameter (that’s if the biggest circle is 80 meters. For every meter shorter add a meter to the small circles size and power) because of the severe chakra drain to keep the hole open. For every meter in diameter the smallest circle is, it is able to pull object into it from that many meters away from the holes edge.
The hole is only able to be kept open for about a minute (10 out of battle posts) before the chakra which created it exhausts itself. It is very likely that the user of this technique will have a difficult time surviving its activation due to them being in such close proximity to the deadly construct. Anything sucked into the hole does not die. It merely is pulled in to a void of nothingness, where there abilities to move and breath are severely limited. This is what most would consider a fate worse then death. Anything above the ground the hole is made on will be sucked in, and anything on the sides in range of its pull, that is not fixed to the earth (ie mountains and hills, boulders and trees still get sucked in) will be sucked in.
