OOC: sry about long wait. got hung up with work this week
“Hmmm, well I don’t know much about Ice techniques. Didn’t you do some ice tile thing? I remember that. Glad you learned a new technique though. What’s this ice tsubame technique do?”
A generally pleased look went over his face at the knowledge that his friend had learned something new. It was always nice to hear about how people were getting better within the village. He waited for her to show him her new technique if she would, but would press on without seeing it if she avoided the display.
“I learned something new too. It was actually the reason for my long absence.”
A moment later his sharingan would bloom within his eyes, 3 black dots circling in the pools of crimson.
“You see, I was training and I obtained these. But because of what happened during my trial for them….well lets just say I was unable to leave the ‘capable’ care of those hags from the medical facility. They kept me under lock and key for sometime. For my own good they said, but they are finally letting me out and about. If with some restrictions….and with my own loopholes in said restrictions.”
A devilish smile crossed his face as he thought of how often he had been sneaking out recently. Then he remembered the company he was in and went back to telling her more.
“Yeah, that’s one thing I never got to tell you guys about. I always told myself if I ever was the leader of a team I would tell them about my number one rule. Not that I’m your leader or anything, but I’m going to tell you anyway since I missed my chance a while ago. Never let a rule stop you. They were made to have exceptions. As a chunnin you should use your title in an effort to push the limit of rules so that you can grow past them, and ultimately be a better person for it.”
It was something his master Muteki taught him a long time ago. Maybe not in such fancy words but the sentiment was the same.
