Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) Rank: D Type: Supplementary. Range: 0 - 10 meters. Handseals: - Chakra: Low Special: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you. Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction. Domain: Universal Ninjutsu.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique) Rank: C Type: Supplementary. Range: - Handseals: Yes. Chakra: Low - Massive. Special: The cost of the summoning is relative to the item or creature\person in question. For instance, summoning weaponry (kunai, shuriken, senbon) would cost a "low" amount of chakra, while a large beast of a summon may cost a "high" worth of chakra. Description: A powerful jutsu intended to call forth aid when in dire need, Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon a a variety of entities and items meant to assist them in a dire situation. From people to animals, to inanimate objects such as weapons and items, these creations come forth out of thin air near-instantly after the seals are done and into the battlefield. Keep in mind each summoning in question requires a previous contract to be filled out. Finally, signing this contract also allows said summoning to be able to reverse summon the human ninja to their own location. Domain: Universal Ninjutsu

Name: Eunectes Murinus (Anaconda). Classification: Senior. Rank: D. Kind: Swimmer, Grounder. Chakra: Mid for single summon, x2 Mid for group. Specialties: - Description: Referred to as the true grunts of the Saikyo no Uwahebi, this classification of snakes (commonly referred to simply as anacondas) represent more than twenty percent of the snake order’s population. Generally found being about six meters long (roughly twenty-two feet) and ninety-seven kilograms heavy (215 lbs), these non-venomous boa-class serpents can be summoned in groups of three and are known for swallowing their prey whole. These snakes are at their prime in a variety of watery conditions, namely deep rivers; however, they can operate with relative lethality on land as well.

Specialties: - Description: The larger relatives of the Eunectes Murinus, the Gigantophis are what some might consider the “elite” of the snake order. Ridiculously larger than your common snake, these beasts represent the “unnatural sized” class of snakes (b – twenty five meters long, five meters wide; a – forty meters long, ten meters wide; s – fifty meters long, twenty meters wide). In despite of their massive size, these snakes can still move incredibly fast and deal blows with devastating force and power. The snakes cannot be summoned in groups.

Danpen Inazuma (Shooting Thunder) Rank: C Type: Raiton Ninjutsu Range: 0 - 50 meters Handseals: No Chakra: Mid Special: The range of the bolt is determined by user's 'Kirai Shin'. Description: Meant more as a reactionary technique than a main avenue of offense, this jutsu allows the user to essentially shoot out small lightning bolts from a free hand to anyone within a small range. This requires no seals to conjure, and can be shot out from one’s appendage during the most heated of combat. The damage is light and the bolts shoot off in a relatively straight line, at rapid speeds. Domain: Raiton. Karai Shin of equal rank.
Raikiri (Lightning's Edge) Rank: S Type: Offensive. Range: - Chakra: x3 High. Handseals: 3 Special: The more refined and powerful version of Chidori, Raikiri pierces through barriers of s-rank and below. Presuming the strike is not fatal, this technique paralyzes the opponent for a full turn. Each time retrained, the paralysis lasts for another turn. On top of this, once learned all Chidori sub-jutsu can be performed under the power of Raikiri. Description: Though little has changed in execution, the power of Chidori is now increased even further, no longer able to be withstood by normal means. The penetrative power of the Chidori is increased tremendously, but so too is the chakra cost and the toll it takes on the body. Domain: Raiton - Karai Shin 'S'.
Chidori (One Thousand Birds) Rank: A Type: Offensive. Range: - Handseals: 3. Chakra: High. Special: Pierces through barriers 'A' rank and below, and instantly paralyzes the victim's body upon impact for the remainder of the turn it was used, presuming the strike doesn't kill the victim. Description: One of the rare techniques within the shinobi world involving both shape and nature manipulation, Chidori is a Raiton based ninjutsu developed for the purpose of ensured assassination purposes. Activating the body to focus chakra to the hand, the user's hand become enveloped by an electrical force. This force is their chakra altered in nature to an electrical current. By altering the shape of the force, similar to an electrical discharge, they can decide the power and range of the attack. After concentrating all the chakra into the arm, the user rushes forward in order to use the power of the thrust from the chakra to pierce any object with the extended forearm. Due to the high speed, the force emits a sound like a thousand birds chirping which gave the technique its name. Domain: Raiton. Karai Shin 'A'.
Chidori Nagashi (Thousand Birds Current) Rank: A Type: Offensive. Range: See special. Handseals: Yes. Chakra: x2 High. Special: Extends a Chidori current at half the user's maximum 'Karai Shin' range. This technique is capable of paralyzing multiple opponents simultaneously (up to a maximum of three) for one full turn. Despite being raiton based, this technique is somewhat slower than the rest, making it relatively easy to evade it (more so due to the fact it simply covers the ground. This technique can also be applied to a weapon in order to dramatically increase its cutting strength. Description: The first variation of Chidori involves the displacement of the concentrated electrical currents all across the user's surroundings. Instead of merely focusing the electrical force to a specific point on their body, the user is now able to extend it outside of their body in general and through objects which they are holding. This allows the user to create a protective zone of electricity around their perimeter, which can shock and immobilize their foes, presumably by attacking their nervous system. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defence. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves", making its muscles contract. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives damage. Best of all, this attack can also be channelled through the ground to increase the range of the attack. Domain: Chidori.
Chidori Eisou (Thousand Birds Sharp Spear) Rank: A Type: Offensive. Range: See special! Handseals: Yes. Chakra: x2 High. Special: Range and speed of chidori blade's deliverance is equal to the user's maximum 'Karai Shin' level. On top of this, it, retains all Chidori cutting properties, and paralysis the victim as long as they are being stabbed by the chidori spear. Description: The second variation of Chidori involves a similar extension of the original charge, but this time, in a more concentrated, linear fashion. On a whim the user is able to shape their Raiton Chakra to form an extending spear of pure lightning, aiming to pierce whatever it is they are aiming at. The best part? This spear takes on Chidori's characteristics, including it's ability to cut through anything which stands in its path, allowing the lightning sword to strike its target with ease. Finally, this variation is similar to Chidori Nagashi in that it causes the target to go numb from the excessive electrical charge. Domain: Chidori.
Chidori Senbon (Thousand Birds Needles) Rank: A Type: Offensive. Range: See special! Handseals: No Chakra: x2 High. Special: Range and speed of chidori senbon deliverance is equal to the user's maximum 'Karai Shin' level. This technique produces ten (10) senbon roughly six (6) inches long, which retain all Chidori cutting properties. Description: The final Chidori variation is, as its name implies, a fully projectile version of the lightning discharge. Once the user summons their Chidori, they are able to further shape the elemental nature to form small, sharp senbon. Sized like normal senbon, these needles take on Chidori's characteristics, including it's ability to cut through most anything which stands in its path, and shock everything in its wake. Finally, upon impact, each senbon lets loose the full electrical potential encased within on their target. Domain: Chidori.
Doton Ryouuken (Earth Dominion) Rank: D, C, B, A, S Type: Supplementary / Doton Ninjutsu Range: See special! Handseals: No Chakra: -- Special: Establishes the area of earth a user can control for their earthen techniques. Because Doton is a solid essence with physical mass, its creations deal more with strength and endurance of the earth; as such, each earthen creation from the user will have have a natural, built-in defense against any attacks equally ranked or lower. Description: The basis behind the majority of Doton techniques lie in the user's ability to control the very earth around them. Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique) Rank: D Type: Supplementary / Doton Ninjutsu Range:Self Handseals: No Chakra: Low Special: User cannot move while underground, but they can detect anyone that walks along the earth directly above them. User can remain underground for a single turn before needing to resurface. Can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained. Description: A very basic earth technique, it allows the user to dive underground almost instantaneously so that they remain hidden from view in order to ambush their opponent. As long as the opponent is walking across the earth, they will be aware of their presence, and can wait patiently (without fear of asphyxiation!) until they right time, where they will emerge and latch onto the opponent’s legs. From here, they can easily suck them down, executing a replacement with them so that the opponent is buried underground up to his neck, while the user emerges unharmed above ground. Domain: Doton. Dochuu Eigyo (Underground Fish Projection) Rank: C Type: Supplementary / Doton Ninjutsu Range: See special! Handseals: Yes Chakra: Mid Special: Range of movement depends on the user’s level of 'Doton Ryouuken'. While the user cannot perform seals and thus use jutsu underground, they can wield weapons in order to surprise attack. User can remain underground for a single turn before needing to resurface; each time retrained, the user may remain underground for one extra turn. However, after every fourth retraining, their chakra consumption will go up by one, Description: An upgrade to Shinjuu Zanshu, this underground variation grants the user movement whilst underground. Additionally, they can also emerge from below with their weapons drawn, allowing them to attack without being seen. After a few short seals, the user merely sinks below, and can remain there for a small amount of time. Domain: Doton. Doton Ryouuken 'C'. Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu
Iwa Bunshin (Rock Clone Technique) Rank: C Type: Supplementary. Range: See special! Handseals: 3. Chakra: Mid. Special: Up to one clone can be made at a time, plus one more each time retrained. Being elementally based, this clone is capable of using any c-rank and lower Doton techniques the users knows. Can be relearned up to 4 times for a maximum of 5 clones created. Description: Doton • Iwa Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu that utilizes rock to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Iwa Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target, especially with its rocky earthen frame, adding power to its attacks. Domain: Doton. Doton Ryouuken 'C'.
Doton Kekkai – Dorou Doumu (Earth Barrier – Earth Dome Prison) Rank: B Type: Supplementary. Range: See special! Handseals: 8. Chakra: High. Special: Size and range of dome depends on the user's 'Doton Ryouuken' rank. Dome defense is determined by the user's 'Doton Ryouuken' and can withstand up to one strike from the outside, plus one more each time retrained. However, after every third retraining, consumption will go up by one. Strikes to the dome made from within are stronger, meaning it takes strikes one rank less than the user's highest 'Doton Ryouuken' in order to break free. Description: This advanced Doton ninjutsu acts as its name implies – it facilitates the user creating a prison around their victims, comprised of pure dirt. After forming the necessary handseals and striking the ground with their hands, the user is able to overturn the earth and cause it to rise up around their opponents. As long as they keep their hands on it and feed it chakra, the prison can withstand most attempts to break free from within. As a bonus, if the user knows of any chakra absorbing techniques, they may place their hands against the dome, sucking out the chakra from the people trapped inside and bring it back into one’s own body, as well as combine it with his own in order to spread throughout the dome, allowing the user to repair any damage their opponents manage to inflict on the inside. All Taijutsu 'C' ranked and lower become easily read, and thus, predictable. Finally, the 1st Tomoe can keep up, comprehend and predict motion up to 4 meters per second. Keep in mind that regardless of foresight and prediction, in order to avoid incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed, agility and RP ability will ultimately control whether they can move to avoid it. Description: The very first form of the Sharingan, once its true powers are unlocked. With only one tomoe, the eye itself is still very immature and lacking in any of its real powers, but it can nonetheless excell much more than any normal human eye can in battle. At this stage, the Uchiha begins to see the truth behind illusions, as well as gain a brief understanding of whatever movements are coming at them.

All Taijutsu 'B' ranked and lower become easily read, and thus, predictable. Finally, the 2nd Tomoe can keep up, comprehend and predict motion up to 8 meters per second. Keep in mind that regardless of foresight and prediction, in order to avoid incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed, agility and RP ability will ultimately control whether they can move to avoid it. Description: The next stage of evolution for the Sharingan involves two tomoe, improving upon the Uchiha's current skills and adding new ones. Amongst others, it allows the Uchiha to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor reading of an opponents attack, as well as pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra, as well as lingering traces of foreign chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.
Sharingan [San] Rank: A Type: Supplementary / Doujutsu / Uchiha Kekkei Genkai Range: Eyesight Chakra: x3 Mid to cast, low to sustain. Special: Pierces Genjutsu 'A' rank and under. All Taijutsu 'A' ranked and lower become easily read, and thus, predictable. Finally, the 1st Tomoe can keep up, comprehend and predict motion up to 12 meters per second. Keep in mind that regardless of foresight and prediction, in order to avoid incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed, agility and RP ability will ultimately control whether they can move to avoid it. Description: The final normal evolution to Sharingan, the third tomoe fits symmetrically with the rest by creating a perfect triangular existence around the pupil. An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body, in the form of a quickly processed mental premonition. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there. Best of all, three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to cast unique genjutsu and incur deep hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing, or simply to force them to endure endless torture.
Magen • Kyouten Chiten (Demonic Illusion • Mirror Heaven and Earth Change) Rank: D, C, B, A, S Type: Doujutsu / Supplementary / Special Bloodline Technique Range: Eyesight Chakra: See special! Special: -- Description: Magen • Kyouten Chiten is an advanced doujutsu genjutsu technique unique to the Uchiha, specifically those having unlocked the Third Tomoe. Using the copy and counter functions of the Sharingan eye, the Uchiha can detect an incoming illusion, stop the sensory spell cast on their body, and just as quickly reverse it back on their opponent, resulting in the illusion cast on the very owner that summoned it, all within a few moments. Domain: Uchiha. Must unlock 3rd Tomoe Sharingan.
Battle Gear Rank: B Type: Torso & Shoulders Limit: Taijutsu Secondaries Description: Stronger than a simple flack jacket, this Battle Gear serves like an exoskeleton that covers the user's torso and shoulders well, keeping them safe while not slowing their movement down. Standard issue is all black, but users may alternate the color to their liking. Cost: 10,000 Ryo
Asashio is an average looking fellow. He has dark brownish black colored hair that is usually Cut short, and styled with a bit of a spike to it. He has an odd shape to his nose, almost to thin and flat. It makes him look somewhat like an owl, and gives him an almost knowing look to him. This in no way makes him less attractive in any way. Truth be told he is merely average as far as many of the Cloud villages ladies will comment. Not on the ugly side not on the pretty either. His eyes are normally black as with most Uchiha, but once his sharingan activates they turn the crimson color.
He’s about 6’3 feet tall, and looks thin when his robes aren't obstructing specifics about his build. Around his neck there sits a large necklace. It is made of orbs, that in the back are small, but become progressively bigger until they culminate in a large orb in the front. This is a very precious item to Asashio. It belonged to his father, an anniversary gift from his mother. He has never spoken much more about it then that, so the mystery is lost to most people. It is a bronze color, and seems fairly valuable.
Other then that, Asashio has many outfits he will wear depending on the conditions, but he generally wears a sequence of robes for the comfort they provide. The upper shirt area is usually black, and he wears a sash of white that wraps around him, and down around his waist as a belt. The end usually hangs down in front of him. His pants are again black, the same as the shirt part of the robes, and are very baggy looking. This allows for easy and range of movement, as well as makes it difficult for untrained eyes to follow his leg movements. Because of the elastic band he wears near his ankles, the bagginess of the pants doesn’t usually get in his way when moving. He wears black ninja shoes that go up to his shin. On each wrist he has tied bits of fabric that are meant to absorb sweat to prevent his hands from becoming slippery. He will wear the standard anbu uniform, but only when needed.
C O G N I T I O N
Born in rain and raised in cloud, he owes his comfortable life style to the leaders of the cloud village. Fighting for them seemed like an interesting choice. Eventually, after the world was cast into termoil, he made his way back towards the cloud village licking his wounds. Due to a need to bolster the ranks, they offered him his chunnin status and his position within ANBU. Now he works to earn those gifts.
Asashio is an odd sort. He’s a fiercely loyal person, willing to sacrifice much for his compatriots, but he has an odd way of showing it. Its supposedly due to his old masters habits. It takes a lot for him to consider someone a friend. An ally is easy to come by, but one you trust is a rarity in his mind. That doesn’t stop him from being a friendly sort though. He is always seen smiling. Asashio is probably one of the best known ninja throughout the village of Cloud. This isn’t so much because of anything he’s done as a ninja, but more so due to his outgoing nature. He may be hard to gain as a friend, but he’s one of the easiest acquaintances anyone can be around. Laughter is his passion. Passing up the opportunity to make a joke or create a comical situation is something he is just incapable of doing. At times this tendency has brought things from bad to worse for all those involved.
Live a life full of laughter. Whether that is the result of a joke, or someone else suffering is not his concern.

hello all, just getting into things here again after about a year away and was wondering something. Previously my character had some perks that i purchased with EXP for doton (hyper sealing, and one other) i remember these being masteries. I can no longer find them in the index though instead i read about this mastery point thing. My question is: Has the mastery point system replaced this older system of buying masteries with exp. if so, what do i do with the exp on the now outdated masteries?

Dairasshu Bunshin no Jutsu (Call of the Mud Titan!) 300exp Rank: S Type: Offensive / Doton Ninjutsu Range: See special! Chakra: High Special: Creates a giant 50 meter rock/earth clone that can use any Doton jutsu the user knows, with the default jutsu damage, area and power doubled - but so is the cost. By default, the Titan is immune from one full ‘S’ ranked or lower attack. Every time the user re-learns this jutsu, they can absorb an additional strike. Range of attack depends on the user’s level of Earth Dominion, doubled. User must be in contact with clone at all times, and cannot used any non-doton techniques for the remainder of the clone's lifespan. Can only be used once per thread. Description: One of the most visually awing Doton technique, this jutsu allows the user the ability to summon an oversized, giant earth clone from the user’s feet, rising up at rapid rates under the cover of a massive earthquake. This clone, appearing like the user even in appearance, can perform any Doton jutsu the user knows, as well as move around at the user’s behest. Such a jutsu was designed by a famed Iwa shinobi from long ago, whom was never able to summon and was tired of loosing to them due to this size. Shisu (Hypnosis) 150 exp Rank: A Type: Doujutsu / Supplementary Range: Eyesight Chakra: High Special: Sleep, suggestion, paralysis, and memory recall last up to 1 turn, plus 1 more each time this jutsu is retrained. Cannot force a user to do something completely against their will, like taking their own life or that of a dear comrade, unless they have previous intent to do so. Description: Upon unlocking the last of the normal secrets behind the Sharingan eye, the Uchiha begins to take full control of their blood powers.
