aburame
The Aburame use insects as weapons, specifically their "kikaichu" (literally Parasitic Destruction Insects). These insects live in symbiosis inside the bodies of the Aburame clan members, just under their host's skin, using their chakra as a food source to survive.
The insects leave and enter their host's body through various pores, and do their bidding at any cost.
For this reason, Aburame clan members are experts in reconnaissance. They can communicate with their insects through thought alone, and share a two way link between themselves and their hive.
Lastly, they have a longstanding rivalry with the Kamizuru Clan of Iwagakure, who also utilize insects as weapons of war.

{Parasitic Destruction Insect Technique}
Kikaichū no Jutsu (Parasitic Destruction Insect Technique)
Rank: D
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Cost: Sustained
Shortly after birth, each member of the Aburame clan becomes host to thousands of insects. In a symbiotic exchange, the insects draw sustenance from the host's chakra and, in return, obey their every command.
Covering all aspects of combat, from attack and defense to reconnaissance, insects are integral to the Aburame's combat style, forming the foundation upon which all their jutsu are built.
This base technique is the Aburame's call to arms, the starting point for their unique clan jutsu. Clan members can control different kinds of insects, but they need to train to manage each type, as every insect has a unique level and skill set to master.

{Aburame Clan Insects}
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Ability: Chakra Absorption
Kikaichū are small, flight-capable beetles used in combat to trap and attack by surrounding and draining their target's chakra. Large swarms are efficient but noticeable, while smaller groups are stealthier. An Aburame can use their kikaichu to increase their mobility, detoxify poisons, and share chakra with allies. Kikaichū excel in reconnaissance, spreading out to find and discreetly monitor targets, then relay information back to their host.
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Ability: Chakra Sensing
Literally meaning: Neutralizing Destruction Insect. These resemble worms. They can dig into the ground and locate chakra signatures that they then report to their respective Aburame.
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Ability: Chakra Disruption
A species of beetle-like insects that, though initially small in size, if provided with the incorrect amount of chakra, these insects immediately begin to devour the flesh of their host, causing them to undergo rapid growth to ultimately giant proportions. While this trait makes them effective at damaging enemies, it also makes these insects particularly troublesome to harbor within the user's own body if they are not careful.
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Ability: Necrosis Inducement
Rinkaichū are a breed of nano-sized, venomous bugs that attack and painfully destroy cells. They differ from kikaichū as they need physical contact to transfer to an enemy, and can bypass clothing (except for their owner's.) To use them effectively, the user may need to expose skin. Rinkaichū behave like viruses, quickly multiplying and feeding on living tissue, but will perish if their host dies or if they are outside a body for too long.

HIVE BODY
Type: Minor
Ranks: 3
Requirements: Aburame Clan Member, Ninja Grade D+
- You are host to a swarm of insects living inside your body. They feed on your chakra and, in exchange, obey your every command. Because it is your tradition to do so, people with your lineage naturally possess above average chakra reserves (+50 Chakra.)
There is a Sustained cost to being the bugs' host and the amount of chakra required to maintain them is represented by their rank (minus any activation costs).
At rank 1, you may host one type of insect. At rank 2, you may host an additional type.
At rank 3, you gain access to the rare Rinkaichū breed of insect, or may lower the sustained chakra cost of one of your hosted insects by one rank.
Limit: Each time you take this trait, the ninja grade requirement increases by 1. Due to their parasitic nature, Rinkaichū cannot be housed alongside another type of insect.
