Player Characters have an abstract reserve of useful gear and consumable items, represented by Inventory Points (IP).
A character can normally carry a maximum of 6 Inventory Points; however, some Traits and special Equipment will increase this limit.◀ Spending IP
Whenever you need a consumable item, you may spend an appropriate amount of Inventory Points to produce and use it — all Inventory Points spent this way must come from the same character.
Once created, the item must be used immediately and is destroyed in the process; you cannot create it and then "save it for later’.◀ Resetting IP
Characters Inventory Points are automatically reset in every new thread they enter. During long journeys, characters can reset their Inventory Points when they are in a town, village, or other locations that allow them to purchase useful gear: the cost is 100 Ryo for every Inventory Point they want to replenish.◀ Equipped Items
All Player Characters are assumed to be carrying any gear and tools they've purchased in the Equipment Shop: these items will be listed in their character sheet.
As shown on the character sheet, a Player Character can equip a limited number of items on their body:1. You have one equipment slot for your armor.
2. You have a main hand equipment slot, where you can equip a one-handed weapon or a two-handed weapon.
└ While you have a two-handed weapon equipped here, that weapon will also take up your off-hand slot (see below).
3. You have an off-hand equipment slot, where you can equip a one-handed weapon, shield, or accessory.
4. You have one equipment slot for an accessory.
