" It's been a long time coming.." a hush voice whispered into the wind. It had been a long time coming for the genin while he aspired for greater things. He always completed his missions effortlessly and without flaw. He was an upstanding member of society with all but the exception to that incident. Now that everything was settled, all missions completed, and he was packed and ready to go, there was nothing to prevent him from obtaining the recognition he desired. Nothing except for whatever lied on the path before him.
Tugging on one of the leather straps of his pack, he shifted the weight to one shoulder and peered beyond the gate and into the distance. Glancing down at his map he could tell the trip would be far, but it was just another test in his abilities as a shinobi of kumogakure and in turn, a warrior of his arts. Shrugging the thought of it off he started toward his destiny. The Chuunin Exams in the Tetsu no Kuni.
