Personality

• Masuyo may first come off as the silent type but that is simply because he is usually thinking, once his thoughts stop he can talk at length sometimes but mostly his words are short and to the point. He does not like to have his time wasted by meaningless things and when he becomes impatient it is clearly seen through a twitch in his left eyebrow. He will make it a point to distance himself from others however, despite this new habit he is very kind at heart and will always try to help someone in need if it's within his power, whether it be from homless residents or even an person whose made a bad decision. Masuyo sympathizes with others to an extent and hates seeing anyone or anything with a consciousness die. He usually shows mercy and opts to not kill his enemies unless he absolutely must or he knows that a greater good will come of it.
  
  Other aspect of Masuyo's personality would be his determination and strong will to never give up; once he sets his eyes upon a goal he feels passionate about he refuses to give up until his very life is ended. This shows in his loyalty to the few friends he makes, for those few who DO become his friends, however, he devotes his utmost loyalty and cares for them dearly even if his actions sometimes say otherwise. This is a direct result of losing every person important to him in a single day due to the war both in his youth as well as later in life only, however, lose makes a man stronger.
  
  Despite the fact that everything, even the air around him screams with malevolency, yet, has shown to be a kind and warm hearted individual when around those he deems worthy of his care, especially his sister Masumi Hozuki. His mental capacity is guided by a sense of strong dedication to his home and Team in Kirigakure as well as absolute respect for his fellow allies, no matter the clan. Within his Team and genin peers he holds a strong sense of equality, allowing him to deal and converse with even the most sick and twisted minds accordingly, his most revered asset. However, he only deals with them anyway he sees appropriate. Despite his villainous-esque chakra flow and demeanor, he is quite genteel, soft-spoken, and maintains a high tier of intellect that clashes with the wise but still in many ways cannot compare.

  Description: A shuriken, like kunai, is one of the more basic weapons employed by ninja of all classes. They are sharpened, four-pronged metal stars, no more than a few inches long, and are extremely useful for throwing. Although small, they can be used to distract, or, if accurate enough, to kill. They have an open circle in the center, used for grabbing with a finger, to avoid cutting oneself, or to put thread through. The circle is also a benefit in aerodynamics, as it ensures more accurate trajectories.

  Description: The exploding note is a piece of parchment paper infused with special chakra, layered over with a special script on it that serves to enable and facilitate its explosive properties. Its execution is simple - the ninja can attach the note to another object such as a kunai or log, and upon activation, the note is set and begins either a slow countdown burn, which eventually results in a large explosion, or the explosion in itself upon command.

  Chakra: Mid
  Special: As Hozuki deplete in Chakra and Stamina, they lose their ability to control their liquefaction and thus begin reverting to a puddle-like state. Jelly puddle moves slow on land, half the user's normal movement speed, but fast under water, twice the user's movement speed. When first learned, the Hozuki is protected from physical attacks through auto-liquefaction, and can sustain their jelly form without achieving contact with any form of water for up to one turn, plus one more each rank above 'D' is earned. Once the Hozuki reaches water, their jelly timer is reset; if not, they are forced to revert to their humanoid state and suffer double-chakra drain as a result of to the forced transformation. All Hozuki are susceptible to Raiton and Hyouton, to the point jutsu used on Hozuki from these are raised by a single rank damage-wise, and when struck, they are unable to liquefy properly - however, they can neutralize Katon and Youton with attacks of equal rank.
  Description: The core technique behind the bloodlimit and the door to stronger, more powerful attacks, this jutsu allows the Hozuki to totally transform their body into a condensed state of water, so dense that the user can withstand even the roughest of physical attacks, yet so malleable that on a whim, they can also decompose into mere puddles. From a single hair to the skin and muscles, everything can be liquefied and solidified, be it to evade an enemy's attack during a short range battle, to infiltrate a structure, or to launch a surprise attack from a liquefied state Maintaining this form requires that the clan member keep themseves constantly hydrated, but in this form the can also draw upon and control nearby water by immersing and merging amongst the liquid. And best of all - by liquefying their whole body at will, it makes it impossible for the Hozuki to receive damage from physical attacks. Automatic liquefaction occurs instantly whenever struck by non-elemental physical attacks, allowing the Hozuki to reform their body as water around the attack until danger is clear. When the user passes out, they turn into a jelly-like, dormant state until consciousness is regained.

  Special: Strength of absorbed attack depends on the Hozuki's highest 'Hydration' rank. Up to one blow can be absorbed per thread, plus one more each time retrained.
  Description: As the Hozuki further their understanding of the control over their liquid essences, their skill in altering their density composition enhances. In this case, rather than simply breaking up into a puddle of water when being struck, the Hozuki learns to absorb the blow, increasing their watter pressure so that the weapon or limb is stuck within. To the opponent, it'll feel as if they had buried their weapon/hand in sloppy mud. By reforming around the impact point, they are able to trick their opponent into coming in for an obvious attack. From this point, they can finish their opponent off, or capture them for later use.

  Type: Supplementary / Special Bloodline Technique / Suiton Ninjutsu
  Range: Self
  Chakra: Mid
  Special: Doubles user’s maximum movement speed by creating a steady film of jelly water under the Hozuki's feet, allowing them to slide efficiently. When sliding over water, chakra cost for the slide is reduced by one consumption level.
  Description: One of the Hozuki’s greatest advantages comes from their very essence, their viscous jelly substance able to instantly provide the user with a limited yet versatile source of suiton. In this case, the user is able to mold chakra on the same path that’s used to keep their appendages in place, allowing an extra amount of chakra to constantly cover their feet. This chakra allows the user to essentially slide or ‘surf’ across the ground at steady speeds for as long as the user’s chakra network can sustain. Because the water provided comes from the user's jelly, they can ride on any form of surface inclined or flat, as long as they have the chakra and said areas do not pose threats to the Hozuki's life - i.e. fire, thunder, etc. A telltale glassy streak is left behind, a smear of jelly revealing the traveling Hozuki’s next destination.

  Range: 0-50 Meters
  Special: Allows the user to extend one of their limbs, allowing them to increase the range of their jutsu and attacks. Range increase is based off of the users Hydration Rank. D rank Hydration allows the user to extend a limb 10 meters while S rank Hydration allows for an extension of up to 50 Meters. Does not require seals.
  Description: Utilizing their ability to convert their bodies to water, a Hozuki can actually achieve the elongation of their limbs. By utilizing this ability, a Hozuki can increase the range of their attacks. However, due to the properties of inertia if a hozuki were to throw a punch and extend their arm, they would not be able to change the trajectory of the punch mid-attack. As the User masters their ability to liquefy their body, their ability to stretch their limbs will also increase.

Description: Suijinheki is one of the most impressive Suiton jutsu, and one of the few actually able to defend the user indefinitely from danger. The user will first do a string of hand seals, length varying by rank, and then they proceed to blow out a jet of water from their mouth. This stream moves at high speeds, and after five meters or so from the user, begins to form itself to a size equal and greater to that of the incoming attack, allowing it to act as a water barrier.
