It had been pretty normal, peaceful day within Tetsu no Kuni, and Blanche, being the keen explorer, was around and about searching the land for perhaps any treasure, or simply anything that she could put to good use. However, her searching was put a bit off due to the fact that snow clearly blanketed the area, which prevented her from seeing what exactly was on the around around her. In other countries she was keen on picking up herbs or plants that could be used in some kind of mixture but with this land, she figured that nothing much grew here anyhow except for some evergreen trees and maybe some plants which had adapted to the extreme chill that wildlife was faced with each day. Surely enough, if this weather came to Kusa, the plants would be dead in no time.

But such was the difference between environments. She had been to many a place, Tsuchi no kuni, Hi no kuni among them, but this snowy land was the first that she had come across for quite a while now and yet; It was quite pleasant. The snow drifting down gently on the area, bringing both the danger of ice with it among other illnesses that people could get from the cold, it came down almost.. innocently. Surely enough the land was very used to such weather but it could kill someone easily should they stay out in the cold for so long, and yet people seemed to take it quite lightly as it fell atop their heads- If they but knew the risks that cold could bring in these conditions- They wouldn’t think twice about wearing suitable clothing in the outdoors.

-Although that was just her mind. Being a medic her mind was programmed to think such things- The dangers that weather brought among many other things. And, as a medic she was- ”H..HELP US! Please someone HELP!!!” as this voice, strained yet loud pierced the once clear air her head would turn towards where the sound had come from to see, off in the distance- A good few meters away, what would appear to be a slight amount of crimson staining the snow itself, turning it in to a bloody mush- Surely, this wasn’t good by what she could see at the moment. Looking over at the snow again her head would shake back and forth as if she was disagreeing with the situation- Even in the land of the samurai, it seemed that there were still problems with attacks- It was a shame really, since it was a place quite well-thought of in terms of security.

Walking over quite cautiously to assure that it wasn’t a trap, she would soon be faced with something like she had never seen before- What would appear to be a cluster of five bodies- All alive no doubt due to the look upon their faces and the way that they moved once or twice to assure that they were alive- They shivered in the snow itself, twisting gently as if the cold was biting at their very skin whilst being on the floor. Around them lay a pool of blood, combined from all of them, as crimson danced upon the marks on their skin quite daintily- What had happened? Rushing over to the one that seemed the worst off, the medic would lean down, and would then cover the entirety of her hands in healing chakra, Shousen touching her fingertips as she then lay her hand close to the gash on his stomach. ”What’s happened? The least hurt of you; Answer. Don’t try to over exert yourself though- You all look in pretty bad shape.” she would speak, commanding them to explain what had happened so she could get a good idea of what was happening.

A groan would escape those who lay on the floor, and but a moment or so of healing with the comforting green light would soon cause the figure she was healing to respond to the question she had asked- By his strained, fear-filled voice she could tell that it wasn’t that easy for him at the moment, although she appreciated the effort he was making to teach her such techniques. ”It’s.. It was a bear.. A large b-bear! Or someth-ing.. which looked like a bear.. But it was.. It-” A cough, a splutter, a glob of blood released from his mouth, painting the snow red; ”It wasa bear- A ..big one—We were camping- Just camp, camping and it came over and sla-slashed e-everything thing!” he would tell her with much problem speaking- He had been hurt quite badly- They had all been hurt quite badly by the creature, and she was hoping that she could save them all before it was too late.

Of course, the snow did help somewhat in preserving them as so to say, but then again the cold also brought another risk to them- It didn’t look like they had been here for long though due to the fact that the blood hadn’t yet dried up from the wounds that the creature had dealt to them, but it was still proving as quite a challenge to her at the moment since although she was a good medic, some of the wounds upon these people were bad- Not as bad as the ones that she had seen during the war, but during that there had been many a medic on duty to all work on healing those few large wounds- She now, was by herself, and had the duty of cleaning it all up. It would be a feat, a challenge even, but she was sure that she could do it if she tried her hardest.

Looking over at him and then to her hands once more she would keep healing- But it was a bit slow, or not slow but.. Her hands weren’t yet accustomed to healing these kinds of wounds. It would take her a while to heal it but she had four other people to also heal who had similar bad wounds upon their bodies- Just what was she going to do? Knowing full well that at the moment her knowledge of the healing hands techniques was good, but not perfect, she struggled to ponder whether as to if she should go ahead and try to learn the S-Ranked version which could give her perfect control over it and potentially fail, or she could go ahead and heal them using this A-Ranked version and potentially lose the people she was healing.

Choosing to do the former which would both better her own personal skill and would probably result in these people keeping their lives, no matter how puny they may be, she hoped that they felt thankful for having such a brilliant medic as she tending to them, of course. ”I see- Stay still, I will save all of you. I only have two hands, but I’ll do the best that I can.” she would tell them to try and give them a bit of peace of mind- If only there was some other medic here with her who could help alongside her. At the moment though, her hands were still bearing the chakra of the A-Ranked version and nothing more special than that really, but she hoped that it was going to change soon, because she really needed to start healing the others. With only one wound finished healing from this guy, she doubted that it would be a quick transition.

But then again- if she could just get this guy over and done with, she could start on the other- Yes. That was a pretty good idea, and if she kept up the positive mindframe which she usually had, she could easily move from one person to the next- But although the goal was saving them, another was changing her ability to use the Shousen technique so that she could heal even deadlier wounds that would, in the hands of a D-Rank medic, cause death within the patient they were healing. Learning such things did make her think about her childhood where she had been taught by her relative- At the start, learning the D-Ranked version had been quite a challenge to her but now- Now it was quite easy in comparison to the one that she was learning now- Would they be proud of her? Yes, yes they would.

As chakra continued to pulse through her hands as the healing power darted over the most critical wounds that the man had, she couldn’t help but feel that she wasn’t doing her best- Being quite a perfectionist when it came to many a thing, her medical techniques being one of them, she wasn’t keen knowing that she could do better than she was doing at the moment, and yet not progressing. So with one slow burst of chakra to her hands she would hope that the healing process would hasten a bit, clearing most of the wound within a small time unlike the hours which she would have taken as a medical student- She was a fully fledged medic now, and there was little stopping her from learning such techniques.

Of course, she had been aided in the past by some other medics- Hirihi Rinji, the pink haired Chuunin hopeful who she had met in tetsu had been of great use to her from the medical techniques she had taught her, and the people she have known back in kusa who were also medical shinobi had been of great use to her knowledged. She had used libraries too and usually she was more comfortable learning such techniques from books or text which showed step-by-step ways but she was also quite good with assuming how techniques worked, which allowed her to try and learn other ones through trial and error phases. Learning from other people of course- She found this less entertaining as she had to get along with them to work but, all in all it was easier than the former that she had listed.

Just being the fiery headed person she was, it was quite hard not to annoy some people.

However annoying people was the least of her concerns right now- She didn’t need to annoy, she needed to save. Five lives lay in her hands as they dotted around in the snow, and she would have loved to move them to safer ground or somewhere without snow around them but unfortunately for them they had been attacked in tetsu, a land famed for the snow, and there was no budging the white mass that covered the floor any time soon- Whilst snow sometimes fell in other lands, she was unsure if this one stayed here for all of the year, or did it melt? Figuring that it stayed here like Yuki no kuni, she would ponder; There must be a lot of accidents then, right? Think of all of the casualties that occurred!

Another groan passing through the mouth of her patient she would look at the portion that she had been healing, noticing that there was quite a considerable change in it- It was barely there now, there being just a small scrape like piece of skin that was currently not a problem for her as but with a moment or two of placing her hand over it, it had gone, the power of the next level of the technique slowly pulling through as she frantically used it with her hands, whilst her hand on the other hand kept a cool mind, looking to the other casualties once or twice to assure that they weren’t dying on her; ”Speak to me; What are your names?” she would ask to make sure that they weren’t slowly dying off in silence- Having trained under stressful circumstances such as war, talking whilst using techniques had become second nature to her.

Moving on to the last wound upon the body of the man that she was currently healing she would await with open ears as they names themselves one by one, some female, some male. As they spoke her eyes would move from each one to the other to make sure that she remembered the names that were given to her, because by using them later on in time, it might make them feel if but a little bit more safe if she spoke to them in an adult manner by using their names. ”Mina” ”Kyutsuki” Both girls spoke their words in groaned tones the two of them seemingly holding hands quite weakly as they lay upon the floor, Blanche would notice that the two resembled sisters, bearing the same features.

”Aidan” ”Tamaki” and a few moments would pass before the last, the fifth would speak up his name; ”Yuu.” with these names being said she would them remember them as her hands covered another wound upon Tamaki’s body- But it was soon gone as her power took over the damage that had been done, promising him quite a bright future as all that remained now was bruising and perhaps a few broken bones- But he should be quite fine. ”I’m done with you; You may feel quite an lightheaded sensation, but you have no more blood loss- I’ll go back to you in a bit- I need to tend to your friends- Try to lie down, but don’t get too comfortable in the cold. At the moment, that is the most dangerous thing for you.” these words having been spoken she would then get up from her kneeling position quickly, and would move over to one of the girls- Mina.

Looking over her and the cuts, scrapes ands wounds that covered her it would seem as if the bear had slashed right across her shirt, causing quite deep cuts- Of course, they hadn’t been deep enough to penetrate any organs or break any ribs, but perhaps some fracturing would occur which she’d need to tend to later. Right now though, she needed to stop the blood that was currently freely pouring down her chest. A bad thing it was; It would soon be fixed by her healing hands that were steadily growing in power with each passing moment. They would have no fear- As they would escape this situation with their lives intact. Perhaps sanity a bit challenged by the idea of a large creature out in the woods of Tetsu but- no doubt alive.

As the girl seemed to whimper in pain, Blanche would take no notice of this expression or sound but instead would look across the rest of her as she attempted to figure out where exactly the other wound was on her body- The majority of her clothing was stained with blood, both her own and her friends, which was quite depressing to think about, but, at the current time she didn’t want to use her own technique which detected problems within the body, due to the fact that she was training a very powerful technique at the moment, and if she was to faint by over exerting herself, she could both lose the live of her patients, and her own if she wasn’t too careful- That would make her a crap medic.

And being quite headstrong she would go onwards, her hands pumping with chakra as she held them atop the various wounds that the girl had from the wild animal that had attacked them. Luckily for Blanche herself she hadn’t been the victim of such a thing but the possibility was always there- But she doubted that a bear could come near her now that she had the ability of souin entwined within her veins, allowing her to perhaps even throw a bear a good distance away if she tried hard enough. And yet, with the furthering of this technique, she couldn’t help but feel that she could do a better job at learning other medical things to their most powerful point.

If there was anything else to do with them after healing their most life threatening wounds, she would be able to train on them, which in a sense made them in to human guinea pigs since a few techniques she hadn’t truly trained before, but then again if they were to be successful in training, they would be the ones getting good outcomes by living, which all in all, was a pretty good deal, right? Blanche would then shift her hands a little bit from side to side at one of the wounds that she had which was as big as the other one that she had healed upon Tamaki’s own body. ”This must’ve been a pretty big animal for it to do this damage to you.” she would comment as her eyes would scan over the cuts upon everyone’s bodies, showing the effects of the beast.

But, it wouldn’t’ be long until the marks would be gone by her own medical brilliance. Some may attempt to heave at seeing wounds such as the ones that she was healing right now but Blanche was perfectly fine with it- She had always been, strangely enough, even as a child. Seeing such things and not buding didn’t mean that she had necessarily gone through some kind of traumatic experience with blood which stiffened her view towards it, but instead she was simply born like that- Of course it was never nice to see blood pouring upon fresh white snow, but if she stood there and puked her guts up when she could have been healing a patient of life-threatening injuries, that would be a bad mistake on her part, and she would probably never forgive herself for it.

And so with the healing chakra spilling from her hands to the wounds that she was healing it wouldn’t’ be long until the cut that she was healing now seemed to lessen in size until it measured to a few inches, before completely closing up with help of the technique. Moving on to another cut it would seem that unlike her friend who had simply had one big fucking wound on his body this person had all scrapes and cuts across her limbs and torso, the bridge of her nose being a bit cut as well alongside these. It wouldn’t’ take too long for her to sort it out of course, and she was sure that Mina would be quite happy to feel that the wounds had closed, preventing any more blood from being lost to the landscape around them. They should have been lucky that she had arrived as she had done.

If she hadn’t, who knows what had happened? If there were wolves in this area, which she figured so, they would have probably come along and would have tried to take advantage of the situation to try and get an easy meal. But Blanche had in fact stumbled upon the area with her expertise in medical techniques, and by healing these here people, she was in fact making herself even better at one skill in particular- Shousen. Having known that technique since she was a little girl, to place it simply, she was looking forwards to getting it to the height of its power. She would no doubt be one of the best ranking medical shinobi in the world if she could but do this with all of her other techniques! With these she would help restore Kusa- Alongside her strength, of course- and recreate the hospital.

As that building was her domain, she could remember it from a child as if it existed now, remembering each ward, each theatre, the appearance of it- Everything. It was a beautiful building with an atrium that took advantage of the sun that Kusagakure sometimes had pouring upon it, a place that smelled like TCP, yet at the same time looked clean and sterilized, assuring any patient that stepped inside it a good rest and healing session, no matter what was the matter. It was this building that she craved to return to, alongside the rest of Kusagakure itself. She would need to get active in the matter of restoring it soon- She had plans up her sleeve, and all she needed to do was put them to action- Once she finished this mission with the samurai and that clay kid.

Perhaps that M-Guy would be interested in aiding her?

He seemed like quite a brat, but no doubt he would be happy to fight the good fight. Whilst her mind thought about such things, her body went on and continued to heal the girl, the technique neutralizing any blood releasing cuts that were on her body. With the hands going up and down on the wounds that were on her, it woudn’t be long until she would find herself freed from the intense pain of blood loss that had been plaguing her over the past few minutes, the power of S-Rank shousen truly coming to bloom as she kept training it. Of course it wasn’t as good as the true S-Ranked version, but it was a pretty good attempt. But viewing herself as a goddess anyhow, she didn’t find this surprising at all.

And- the healing game went on as that girl was soon rendered not healthy, but much better than she had been, as the red liquid stopped pouring from the cuts from her body as they could now not be seen, the healing technique having vanquished any traces of they even being there except for the bloodstains upon her which had now dried. They would need to be washed off, but that would be done later on when there would be time- time, speaking of that, was of the essence at the moment, as with three more patients to take care of, it wasn’t time to spend her time stupidly now- Although she was making good time, it was still a pretty important thing for her to get them all done correctly without having to rush everything. Whilst rushing was expected at the moment, she did do so, but with divine grace and carefulness.

Blood having spilt over the land around her, it did look very grizzily, as the smell of iron flowed around them, making it clear that there had been some kind of fight here which had caused such a scent to make its way around the place. But taking her mind off what had happened, she now needed to sort out what was happening- Her legs making her rise so that she could move to the next casualty in the area she would change her focus point to another person- Yuu, who had also been attacked by the said animal. Approaching him he would seem to have broken her arm from what she could see, it being twisted in quite a strange manner- But apart from that, blood littered his body, and it was something that needed to get sorted out as quickly as possible to prevent any more blood being lost.

Of all of his friends, it would seem that this poor guy seemed to have the brunt of the attack- He looked like quite a well built person and was no stranger to the gym from what she could see, and seeing as he had the majority of the cuts on his arms and torso and not on his back, it would seem as if he had perhaps taken the role of the dominant male, and had gone forwards to try and protect everyone else. But of course, this was just an assumption from what had happened, as she had no real clue to how everything occurred- She would have to quiz them later on about this. There was much more work on apart from just healing wounds, so she’d be able to have a chat without the threat of someone dying from bloodloss.

It hadn’t exactly been her idea to come across such people in such a condition but she couldn’t help fate of course- Or was it fate? She did want to make her name known as a great medic within the world, so she was sure that with every casualty that she found upon the ground, it would prove as useful to both her career, and for her ability to use medical techniques. With every person she healed she usually learned more, and this scenario was a good example of this. Wanting to up her game and learn the S-Ranked version of the technique was a pretty big feat for her to perform but she was confident that she could perform it- Why couldn’t she, of course? She was Blanche, medic extraordinaire and buxom blonde- Two things combined, which made her an absolute goddess.

Her hands twisting together to form the technique as the familiar green light continued to glow comfortingly to the patients, its glow radiating healing chakra which was vital to save the lives of these guys, it was easy to say that Blanche wasn’t quite tired yet- A bit drained from using the technique but so far she was going good, and could go on for quite a while before she would have to take a break before performing the next one. But she had to go on. After she would do this guy- Which would take quite a while since the amount of cuts on his body- she could go on to the next person and sort out them. She had been making good time though- There was no denying that.

Looking over at his body again he would seem to look around, no doubt in pain, yet he contained any groans or screams of pain that he wanted to shout out. Thinking of himself as the leader of the gang, it was probably something that he didn’t want to do, seeing as he was the one that usually looked after those guys. But, as Blanche lay down on the blood covered floor, luckily enough the nature of her clothing would prevent the blood from soaking in to her clothes- It had been made specially for that purpose- Not PVC of course, although a few bits of it was, the skirt itself was made out of a special matieral that was both waterproof, and didn’t make her look like a PVC porn star. Of course, maybe a bit of one- But she was fully covered from head to toe, her head being the only part that was truly out with skin to view.

And what a beautiful face it was!

At the moment however, it didn’t matter. Hell, she might as well had a pigs face as long as she had the talent but having the soothing eyes of an angel and the appearance of one too, it seemed to comfort people that they were being looked after well, although, her expression bore not one of peacefulness, but instead one of intense concentration- Usually she could use the technique casually, but this time, she was truly concentrating on the technique itself- Wanting to better her ability at it, it wasn’t all that easy for her to just go ahead and learn the S-Ranked variation. However, with enough focus she was pretty sure that she could get it done pretty quickly, and these guys could go ahead and warm themselves up once their wounds were fully closed up.

And with two people already taken care of this was the third person that she was healing, then two after that. Looking over at his face he would seem to be a bit more at ease as her hands continued to move over every cut in his body, making sure that they were perfectly healed before she could go on and sort other things out with the others. There were a few deep cuts on his body from what she could tell but the main problem with him at the moment was just the fact that there was quite a large cut near his shoulder, although her hands were currently clearing that up with the healing power of Shousen, so there was no need for him, or her to worry about it too much. It was all under control.

However, it would really seem that by furthering her knowledge of this technique, she really was aiding in making herself stronger. As far as her arms went her elbows started to ache from being held in the same position for a long time but it was just something that she needed to overcome- in the few seconds that she spent stretching her arms, she could have easily lost a patient, so keeping at it despite the searing ache that occurred within it, she continued her healing and kept the green glow atop the wound on his shoulder- It was soon cleared up, and now all that needed to be done really was sort out the minor injuries that he had dotted all around the place, although mostly near the shoulder where the one that she had previously been healing had been seen.

”I won’t be long now- You’re all in safe hands, so don’t worry. I’ll be as quick as I can healing your primary problems, and then I’ll go on to secondary.” she would tell them, reassuring those who couldn’t see her yet that they were going to be fine. Of course, this step was the most important- If you assured to them that they were going to be fine and such, they would be a bit less stressed, which ultimately, was what that she wanted to prevent them from going in to too much shock during the healing process which might disrupt things. They were no doubt in quite a state at the moment after being attacked by a mysterious creature similar to a bear but they were well on their way to getting fully healed.

Maybe mentally they would have a bit of a problem getting over what had happened, but physically, after Blanche was done they would have no marks to show that there even had been a bear, the claw marks having now disappeared from the ones that she had already healed, so there was no problem really. But again it did make her wonder why exactly would such a dangerous animal just be roaming around the place, especially at such a time when the Chuunin exams were going in. It was quite an important thing that the safety of the visitors on the island was taken care of by the samurai themselves, but at the moment it gave Blanche the idea that the islands wild and dangerous animals just walked around, free to roam, and free to kill- The latter of which she was sure would have happened to these guys if she hadn’t stepped in.

But what had scared such a beast off?

Perhaps a beast of larger size had intimidated it? Chances were one of them had probably injured it and caused it to run away in fear, which made it appear to be quite weak, but there was no underestimating the power of nature. Flowers in example. Some were truly beautiful, yet at the same time, held a deadly poison within their build up which assured to them that they wouldn’t’ be eaten by insects or animals that might be on the prowl for them. And Blanche as an example- She bore the curves of a goddess, the face of an angel and hair that could only belong to the most beautiful of queens from lands long lost by time- And yet at the same time she had a temper to boot and a mouth that rivalled that of a sailor. At the moment however, these curses were unheard- It was time to be professional.

The blonde continuing to focus as she trained the technique in question whilst also potentially saving the life of this man, moments would pass and it would soon become evident that the cause of bloodloss from him; The cuts, wounds and scrapes, were now gone beneath her hands as now all what was needed to do was get up, and go on to the next person, giving him a comforting smile which was uncommon for her, only seen during her medical duties and around children, she would then rise and move on to the next girl that needed to be healed, she being in less of a state than the rest had been in, so she was pretty lucky to say the very least- She had either dodged the attacks of the bear, or had been protected by one of the others who had received more damage than her.

No mater though, but whatever the tactic was, it seemed to work as she had escaped with only a single gash on her arm, which was quite gory, but easily healed by her new sense of medical technique that she was currently training. She was thankful to have been given the chance to learn it, but she couldn’t exactly thank them for well- Being victim to a bear, couldn’t she? But then again she was thanking them by saving their lives of course, it was like killing two birds with one stone. Looking around her again before turning her attention back at the girl herself, her hands, still strong with healing chakra, would pour itself over the arm of the girl, soon helping to close it up, and this time- It was going quite quickly.

However- Looking at her, she would soon speak; ”I- It got hurt on m..my back.. too..” she would tell her as Blanche would then nod, noticing the pool of crimson which had sunk in to the snow that surrounded her, beneath her. Sighing, figuring that this would be another large job to do she would nod her head understandingly to her and would then look at her arm as the wound soon seemed to close up, before Blanche’s arms then moved underneath the girl, and helped to pull her over gently so that she was lying on her stomach with her back facing the sky. After this was done her baby blue eyes would be shocked to see that her back had been quite badly effected by the attacked- In fact, it was worse than the rest that she had already done.

This would take some time, no doubt. But she was pretty ready to sacrifice her own time to assure that this group was fully healthy. Although she was a bitch the majority of the time she was a caring one when it came to healing people, that was for sure. And, with her eyes gently gazing over the wounds on her back she would soon set to work, she now being a bit tired from the constant effort that she had to put in to the technique in order to keep it fuelled, but then again, it was for the better of these people, and for the better of herself due to the fact that it had to do with just keeping her medical techniques in check to prevent herself from fainting whilst using them, and to make herself more accustomed to using them for long periods of time.

But this girl- Poor her, she seemed to be the worst that she had seen at the moment, and it only made her think- What if the girl had been unconscious? Would she had simply forgotten to check her back for any injuries? The rest were fine of course and had nothing on their backs but this girl had caught her by surprise and as her hands worked hard towards getting her fully healed, she couldn’t help but think that she had made a mistake- And it needed to get sorted out so the next time she ended up healing people, this didn’t happen again. Looking over at him she would however put it all behind her, and would keep healing him- Although she was a woman who dwelled in the past sometimes, she had to just continue and get this girl healed up as soon as possible with her S-Ranked healing hands technique, that she was getting accustomed to right now.

Of course they didn’t know that she hadn’t trained this version of the technique before- So it was better not to tell them really should they question her ability to heal but they should be thankful that she had been happy enough to look after them- The cruellest of medics would leave them to themselves and not even bother with them, she however found it her role to heal them, and with such a potent ability in her arsenal she had to use it for good, even if they were say, shinobi from a rival village of Kusagakure. It was the good thing to do, and if they wanted to mug her afterwards or something like that, she’d be more than happy to kick their asses and then not heal them afterwards. But, being a medic she knew her own strength, but with Souin- she frequently found it harder to keep tabs.

”..T..Thank you.” with this having been said from the girl as her head rested against the earth, it did make Blanche quite happy to receive thanks for her work, and due to the girl having said that, it probably meant that the technique she was using was working, which was even better. Turning her head downwards to look on her back which she was currently healing, it still looked like a bit of a state due to all of the damage but it was much better than it had been before she had even started healing it, which gave her quite a confident boost that she was able to heal so much in such little time. She was well and truly thankful for her abilities of being a medic, and she could probably never see herself in any different light to say the very truth. Wounds closing up by the power of her hands, it made her feel godly that she was able to do such a thing- Non medics couldn’t do this, and it gave her quite a large sense of pride.

But then again, when she could do these things, she couldn’t say, do the thing that a genjutsu master could do, and she couldn’t wield a large sword that a taijutsu master could hold. But there was no matter with this as she had both Souin and quite a keen eye for hand-to-hand combat. Of course at the moment she truly, deep down knew that she wasn’t as powerful as others but her ego pulled through and made her think so, causing her to freely slap or hit even those who had chakra way above her own level. Such was the risky mind frame of Blanche- She was keen on hitting people, even if they did nothing wrong, by now, it had become an automatic reaction of hers.

As the crimson stained back of hers soon became devoid of any cuts and scrapes that once had made her stand on the thin line between life and death, such risks were soon nullified as the cuts would become smaller with each moment that passed beneath her divine hands. Truly, she hadn’t seen anyone use this version of the technique before- the hands that she had glowed incredibly bright with the power of Souin, even causing a light to shine atop the snow, giving it a strange, alien glow. She was proud of herself to say the very least that she had even attempted a technique such as this- One that only her relatives would have done, as they were so familiar to the technique itself- And the elder medics at the Kusagakure hospital. However, she was young, fresh and pretty- That was all that separated them.

Hopefully though, upon the restoration of the land, she’d be able to perform more acts such as these which would prove her to be one of the best medics that the village had to offer- She would be the medic of various people all over the shinobi world and would be called to aid in things like grand healings after war bloodshed and even minor things from the leaders of each village- It was these friendships that she aimed to make to make her title as a doctor fully viable- If she held that title, she might as well use it to its extent to make sure that all around the world looked up to her as the main source of medical information- Would she have a student to teach? Perhaps. She was unsure of this at the moment but what she was sure of was that she couldn’t afford to be thinking about such things when she had casualties to heal!

Taking her mind from the future and back towards the people she was looking after her eyes would look at the girls’ back and would see that there would now be no sources of blood loss from her back, and it would lay devoid of any kind of problems except for the dried blood that was on the surface of it. As she now lay fully healed and with no need for more healing Blanche would rise; ”You’re healed- Now on to the last.” she would tell her as she’d then move on to the last boy that she had to heal. Everyone here seemed to be pretty badly attacked by the beast- Maybe there were two of them? She had no clue right now but she did know however that it was better to ask them later on about what it was- She would perhaps be back here later on after the mission, and she didn’t really want to be jumped by a large furry creature.

Kneeling down near the next and final patient she would quickly take note of the places that he had been hurt- His back was fine, but, rolling him on to his back slowly, he having once been writhing on the floor on his side, she would look at his stomach, legs and torso to see that he had numerous cuts all over them. Knowing what she had to do and the healing hands still active she’d go onwards to try and heal them, the green glow keeping atop the wounds that he had, healing the worst first and then going on to heal the rest that were on his body. Knowing that this was the last patient and that he seemed quite alive bolstered her confidence that she’d be able to get this guy done with not haste- but that she had managed to heal the five of them without any problems.

However- By using this technique and finally getting to the master version of it- The legendary S-Ranked version that allowed the medic to heal wounds that at D-Rank they wouldn’t have even dreamed of doing. It gave her the power of somewhat of a god in the sense that she could heal even the deadliest of things, and only a rare thing seemed to bad enough that she couldn’t heal it, no- Actually, she doubted that there was any technique out there that she couldn’t heal. She would be able to heal all things with this technique, and she would be great- This technique would give her somewhat of a ticket to stardom, as with all of the others that she could use, but this one would be placed to great use after obtaining this rank of the technique itself. She couldn’t help but think what things she could do with it.

Of course, you couldn’t rebuild legs with this technique but you could heal quite a lot when you set your mind to it. You could easily heal a large wound in seconds using this, although by training it at the moment she was taking her time to make sure that she was putting enough chakra in to it and enough effort. If she skimped on it one of the patients that she was healing could have ended up dead simply because of the fact that Blanche didn’t put her best efforts in to learning the technique, and she didn’t want to be known for that. Although a person who hated a lot of the people that roamed the land just by seeing them at first glance, she took her work seriously and leaving people dying was wrong- Of course, even if she had a D-Ranked version of the healing hands, she would still go onwards to try and help heal them to health.

And, from looking at the people that she had already looked after it really did seem that she was doing a fantastic job- They were fine and conversed amongst each other quietly, a few of them still looking like they were in pain, but there was no more blood loss, and the snow stopped being stained red from the wounds of their bodies, however, the person that she was healing at the moment was still a problem that she needed to take care of, as his blood kept spilling on the snow beneath him but she was pretty sure that she’d be able to get him fully healed up within the next ten minutes with this new technique that she had learned- It made her even more confident that she could call herself a medic- It made her feel good to know this rank of technique, and that some people would soon be begging her for her services as far as the medical arts went.

Or so she figured anyhow- After the war had occurred medics were quite high in demand due to their healing nature and she had been one of them and had been recruited as a child, having lived through the war. She knew how it was to grow up within a hospital, healing those within it with the little that she had, and luckily to her the hospital of Kusagakure was quite a well-rounded one that took on students such as herself- At the time, anyhow- unlike some of the villages that she had heard of who simply took advantage of children of the medical field. Unlike some, she had volunteered to work at the hospital from an early age, and hadn’t been forced- Sure enough her mother had been a bit forwards on getting her in to the world of the medics but- She was glad that she had.

Of course the fact that they had been hurt in the first place was a problem but as she went on confidently with the S-Ranked technique that she was currently learning, she was very glad to see that this would bet he last person that she would be tending to with this technique in particular. She was glad to have it over with too as after she would have a small rest from healing these guys she could work on other techniques to both make sure that she learned more things, and to assure that these guys were in tip-top condition before she could go on to do the mission in Tsuchi with the two people that she had picked up upon whilst travelling in this land. ”I’ll be done with you soon- For those that I have healed, please try and keep warm.” she would tell them in quite a firm tone as she commanded it- It was important, to keep warm, and she didn’t want to have to deal with hypothermia.

Keeping the technique active, it had been quite a long time now since she had quit using it, and yet she went on, taking note of what her own body was saying in relation to training it. Should she get lightheaded she’d have to make sure that she didn’t get too hurt from using this technique, but at the same time she really wanted to get this technique learned with so that she could use it quicker in the future- But of course she had a lot of people to heal at this time so it was a bit different to that which she had trained before in the past. Shaking her hand a bit as a piece of light yellow hair went inline with her vision, she would look around at the place around them, she getting if but the slightest of headaches in the back of her skull.

But, she was sure that she had been fine- She had been more depleted than this in the past, so she would continue to troop on and heal the man as beneath her gentle hands his wounds would begin to close up as green chakra penetrated them and began to heal the claw marks which had been embedded in to his flesh. Getting hurt was never a nice thing, and she had learned souin to help prevent this on the battlefield or wherever she used it- With her perfect chakra control as a medic it was inevitable that she could learn such techniques as that, but at the same time she’d rather be on the battlefield as a medic instead of fighting. But she wasn’t one to back down of course unless she had a good reason to- Thinking of herself as a pretty strong of person her ego did outstretch itself a bit but hey, it was never bad, right?

Although now would be somewhat of a judgement day for her- If she could learn this technique, there would be nothing that she couldn’t do, surely, right? Nodding her head at this she did know full well that she did know a lot of B-Ranked techniques that needed to be upgraded to A-Rank, so she would but wonder as to if they had anything else wrong with them that could be healed or sorted out. Of course there was to be- They had just been attacked to the bear, so maybe there were other problems which weren’t just caused by having been clawed by the gigantic animal- Maybe they were too cold? Too warm? Maybe they had been injected with a poison hours before, and on the search for an antidote, had run in to the bear? So many possibilities were open for her!

But, this wouldn’t take her too long of course, as she had been healing him for quite a while now but he was almost done, there only being a few small cuts around his legs, which she tended to quite carefully, her fingertips still blazing with gentle green chakra which symbolized the healing that the medics of the shinobi world were so famed for. It’s what put them apart from others- That and the fact that the majority of their techniques hadn’t needed handseals to utilize- They could just chakra their hands up and go, to put it in a casual way. Of course it did, however, need perfect control to assure that the techniques could be used to their full potential- And this control she hoped to have after healing this guy here, and his poor friends who had been attacked.

Now, though- He was fine. With one more swish of her hands the wounds on his body would soon disappear from view and from reality itself, the deep cuts now gone, leaving only the red that covered his body, much like his friends. Seeing him rise a little bit to a sitting position he would shiver somewhat, looking to his friends as they looked back, the girls giving him quite a happy smile, that that he was glad. They would then look towards her with an equally happy look on their faces as Blanche would then rise, the headache having gotten a bit stronger from the chakra depletion that had occurred. Soon finding a rock to sit on, the blonde would rest on it, her right hand clasping her temple, before removing itself as she heard one of the girls begin to speak.

”Thank you so much, Miss. If you hadn’t gotten to us in time I doubt that we would be alive right now.” she would tell her as her friends seemed to agree with this, nodding their heads to Blanche as one after the other each of them would speak a thank you- Of course a few of them sounded as if they were in pain but right now Blanche needed to rest for a little bit until she would go onwards, and despite the fact that the pain was probably quite bad for one or two of them, they probably understood due to the look on her own face which looked a little bit pained. No problem though –She’d soon be fine, and would be able to continue her work. Right now though, she would sigh happily, looking backwards at the snow that fell, it cooling her forehead.

All of the snow falling seemed to cause her hair to curl a little bit at the ends, although, her hair was one big wave of blonde anyhow so having curls didn’t really make it that much different- She still looked as beautiful as ever, even after having used an S-Rank technique which had taken a lot out of her. Looking from each one to the other they would all give her a reassuring smile that they were alright for the time being- She would then begin to rest for a little while- ”I’ll finish soon- Give me a few minutes.” Not sleeping, but simply restoring her chakra reserves which would allow for her to perform some more techniques later on that would aid in the full recovery to health that these guys needed quite badly.
