The blood mist of the dog cleared rather quickly, the force of his tags combined with the decently small size of the dog since its technique had now stopped meant the view was clear. He threw together seals immediately towards the girl, seeing now that she was aiming towards his position. The shuriken was directly in front of her and unless she was able to fly she would have to alter her distance by a shunshin as this shuriken was not small in any way. He would fuse it further with tags, aiming to explode it should it miss or the moment she somehow dodged if it did not gore her immediately and even so if it hit he would blow it up anyway. He then saw but knew not from where a shard of ice form near her throat. this was momentous for him. He started forming new seals as he slipped out of a small cave opening that was behind him, almost as if it was waiting for him, paper wings sprouting from his back as he reached the other side literally bursting away with paper raised speed. exit thread.

Description: Able to create paper from anywhere within their body, Shikigami clan members depend on their Paper Strength as a basis for further clan techniques. Special: Adds explosive note properties to any paper creation of the user's choosing. The rank of this technique determines what rank of paper techniques can be converted into explosive notes. Like explosive notes, each detonated tag covers 10 meters.
Description: As its name implies, the clan member is able to imbue their paper creations in the same explosive properties that ignite a regular exploding note, spreading the effect over across a mass amount of paper sheets. When combined with other clan jutsu, the explosive additions result in a truly terrifying offensive combination.
Domain: Shikigami. Must know Paper Strength.

Clearly, she had some sort've death wish to be leapin' around like that. However, I had no intention on makin' her dreams come true. The big shuriken the other dude had thrown, prior to peacin' out through some obscure cave entrance, seemed like it could do the job though. It was aimin' smack dab for the little bitch's face, and considerin' there wasn't much she could do about it while in mid-air, what would've followed almost guaranteed to be nasty. This, I had no interest in seein'. With a simple flick of my wrist, a small pouch scaled the distance separating my from the chick - boom! No fire or any serious force, just a sudden expulsion of thick, black smoke. It would've served as the perfect cover for me to escape, all but vanishing under the influence of the fabled shunpo1. Unfortunately, that same smoke probably made it all the more difficult for her to evade that massive kunai the other guy had, as I've stated, already thrown. Either or, it wasn't my problem. Back to the top of the little "ditch," I noticed a familiar face. . . donning a very familiar pair of aviators. While my attention wasn't completely off the crazy money-throwin' bitch, I had bigger fish to fry. Had she survived the projectile, and tested me again, chances are she'd be dead. "Hey, you!" I almost screamed. "I want my glasses back!"

With all due respect, no IIC doesn't mean I have to stay in here forever, and I also said afterwards that that was a joke. Next time I'll be extra clear, to the point of obnoxiousness, for everyone's benefit though. I don't like causing mass confusion and chaos unintentionally. /ooc


Something happened that didn't chronologically make any sense, but it killed her anyway and so she was dead. her last thought was something akin to hoping that the stranger didn't spend all the ryo he'd taken from her on hookers and cocaine, only some of it. Time to recreate.

In the spur of a few moments, a lot had happened. The man who appeared to be the original opponent of the woman had seemed to escape, and the woman herself had been defeated at the hand of the white haired lad. It looked like the man he had met in Mizu no Kuni and Axcel himself were the only two left in the area.

"Oi, oi, my name is Axcel, and you traded me these for Kirigakure's location, remember?" A reply came back quickly, his volume raising to match the dark skinned man's own. Recalling the event, Axcel began to wonder how he ended up trading the location of one of the five great shinobi villages for a pair of aviators. He couldn't blame himself too much though, as the orange shades were badass and shiny. It wasn't unusual for Axcel to be captivated by something shiny. Still--he probably shouldn't have done that.

Suddenly, Axcel grinned a mischievous grin as his eyes narrowed towards the 'gift' the woman had given the man just moments earlier. "A deal is a deal, but. . ." He began, his voice beginning to trail off for a moment. "If these glasses are important to you, I'll trade them back to you in exchange for what's in whatever the woman threw."

Axcel paused for a few moments, giving the man some time to think about it, all the while wearing the silly grin he usually did on his face.

Flicking the hilt of Suijin with an iron finger, he nodded toward the relic on his back. "If ya' want some fancy items, I can snatch those for ya' too. I got this nasty lil' thang from the Mizukage, himself." It was testament to his skill, no doubt.

Axcel could tell that this man was really willing to go far to get those sunglasses back. It was as he had suspected when he first acquired them back in Mizu no Kuni--something of far greater value to white haired man than it would be to anyone else. The Rokudaime glanced at the silver chain that hung about his neck, his eyes fixating on the pendent he holds dear to him. Axcel definitely understood how the fellow before him felt, and didn’t intend on holding onto his treasure any longer.

“Alright, alright--I get it.” Axcel said, raising his hands in the air slightly as a gesture to show that he had given up. It looks like Axcel wouldn’t be significantly richer today, but at least money wasn’t a thing he had much need of--at least not yet anyways. He removed the orange tinted sunglasses from his face, closing the sides and extending his arm outward towards so the taller man could take it.

Once the shades were relieved from his person, Axcel would speak up once more. “Looks like you’re stuck as my friend for awhile, eh?” He said with a toothy grin on his face. “Who are you, anyways?” If his answer didn’t come with a name, then Axcel would make up one on a whim--something the dark skinned lad would probably be less than happy about.

The beast was whole once more. "Akira," he shot out almost on reaction. Namitsuki Kushinada was a thing of the past; he was a ghost of Konohagakure, and Akira had no intention on ever returning their. "And what's your name, friend?" Axcel's toothy grin was matched by an even more devious smirk.

“It’s Axcel,” He said, his voice carrying obvious amounts of pride in it. “Zenryoku Axcel!” Axcel finished introducing himself fully--his voice being even more proud than just moments before. Now that the two knew one another by name at least, Axcel hadn’t the slightest clue what to do next. He had been wandering through several countries, but without purpose. He wasn’t sure if there was anything else waiting for him in Tsuchi no Kuni, or even the other nations that harbor the five largest shinobi villages. It was then that the answer came to the boy.

“Tetsu no Kuni.” The Land of Iron--home of the Samurai. It was the Samurai who had brought an abrupt end to the war--well it was the Bijuu, but the Samurai were the ones who managed to end the imminent threat of the bijuu. That in itself had peaked the curiosity of shinobi everywhere. How in the hell did Samurai manage to deal with a problem that plagued the shinobi for generations? “What do you think? I heard they’ve opened the land to foreigners--though I’m not sure to what extent.”

There was no doubt in Axcel’s mind that Akira would be as curious as him regarding the situation, and if he had nothing to take care of in Tsuchi, then their next destination was likely set already. Even Axcel, a seasoned shinobi who had traversed the continent for many years had little interaction within the home of the Samurai. When he heard they had opened their doors, he was both eager and skeptical.

“A good fight?” Although the shinobi of the snow was always able to enjoy the thrill of combat, it had been a long time since he went out of his way to actually look for a fight. Either way, if Akira really wanted a good fight, Axcel was certain that Tetsu no Kuni would be able to indulge him. “Well, we are going to the Land of Samurai--I’m sure you’ll be able to find someone to slap swords with. Of course, killing a Samurai always ends up being troublesome.”

By troublesome, Axcel didn’t mean killing a Samurai in itself would be difficult--no, he was certain Akira could hold his own against multiple ronin. What he meant was repercussions attached to the act of killing a Samurai. What he said was very true too--the Samurai had been acting as an international police force of some sort, so taking one of them out generally spelt trouble for the attacker and their loved ones. Axcel wouldn’t do anything to get in Akira’s way if he were to pursue in fighting the Samurai, however.

“Nope” It was a simple response and although it seemed he thought nothing of it, the lad’s immediate thoughts shifted towards strawberry sundaes. To him, that specific dessert was his nicotine, his alcohol, etc. It was the one thing that made Axcel’s rationality slip--especially when he had been deprived of the treat for long. He’d often had withdrawals during the war, when time to obtain any was scarce.

As the duo traversed the lands, the scenery around them would change. Soon enough, the lands would get increasingly colder and snow would be in sight. Was this Tetsu no Kuni. . .?

Whenever they would arrive, Axcel would bring both of his hands together and create two Kage Bunshin, only to send them away from himself. Their orders? To explore!
