Special: Dominion extends 10 meters in every direction of the user, and goes up 10 more with each rank learned.
Description: The basis behind the majority of Saton techniques lie in the user's ability to control the very sand around them. 'Sand Dominion' is just as its name implies, a fundamental supplementary jutsu of Saton nature that allows the user to intermingle their chakra with that of nature, harmonizing the two in order to create complete control over the sand around them. Once this link is achieved, the door is opened for greater creations to be made.

Suna no Tate (Shield of Sand)

Type: Defensive / Ninjutsu / Kekkei Touta
Range: 0 - 5 meters
Special: Size of sand shield depends on the user’s level of 'Sand Dominion'. Blocks attacks of equal rank learned in a 360 degree radius. Shield is always active as long as enough sand is present to be used, and does not require handseals. Judge will determine whether fast enough attacks bypass the shield each time it’s used.
Description: Although appearing to be one of the most basic sand jutsu, Suna no Tate is a technique that soon evolves into the user’s most sacred defensive countermeasure. Always active, the shield that protects the user is formed from a large sand presence, and does so under its own will. When needed, the user can also use their own chakra to control the sand so that it can act as a barrier. Because the protection is reliant upon how quickly the user’s sand can respond, it is possible a fast enough ninja can bypass the sand and strike the user.

Suna Raishin (Sand Lightning Needles)

Special: Area of lightning blocked depends on the user’s level of 'Sand Dominion'; neutralizes raiton attacks of one rank lower. Neutralized attacks are then unleashed onto the victim which made them.
Description: One of the few non-lethal yet still effective Saton jutsu, the user will hurl sand into the air which will come down around their target in the form of hard pikes. Electricity will be generated from the pikes to arc towards and attack the opponent. Essentially, if their opponent utilizes lightning, it appears this technique will neutralize its usage in the target by creating an opposing electrical charge that drains or otherwise neutralizes electricity.

Daisan no Mei (The Third Eye)

Special: Range of vision depends on the user's 'Sand Dominion' rank. Does not require handseals, and can be held for up to one round, plus one more each time relearned.
Description: Although basic, The Third Eye nonetheless provides the user with a tactical advantage in battle. Without requiring handseals, the user simply covers one of their eyes with one hand and creates the sand replacement in the other. Once existing, the eye can float around and position itself wheever the user desires, allowing them to gain extra insight on their immediate vicinity. The eye can only see in straight line, so it must rotate accordingly in order to get a different view.

Special: Range of entrapment depends on the user's 'Sand Dominion' rank. Can only be escaped by a chakra surge greater than the one ensnaring the victim.
Description: As its name implies, the sand entrapment technique allows the user to use the sand along the ground or within soil to shoot up and attempt to ensnare the victim’s lower body as tightly as possible. Quick moving, the main advantage of this jutsu is that it does not require handseals – only that the user can identify the target so that their sand can react.

Special: Range of sand shower on the user's 'Sand Dominion' rank. Vision in general is obscured, and even doujutsu will have a harder time spotting things inside the sand shower due to the user’s chakra coating the flowing body.
Description: Meant more as a distraction technique than an offensive one, the Suna Shigure grants control of nearby sand, allowing the user to levitate numerous small clumps of sand above his opponent. At this point, the sand can remain suspended in the air as long as the user wants, or it can immediately become useful. Showering from above, the curtains of sand make it harder for opponents to see, as well as provide the user with plentiful sand already surrounding the opponent for further use.

Description: With this ninjutsu, the user will bring together sand into cloud shaped clumps, the size of these ‘islands’ depending on the size of the user. These clumps are dense enough for the user or another ninja to rest on. During quick, dangerous attacks, this can allow the user to rise above any threat from below.

Special: Range of sand bullet depends on the user's 'Sand Dominion' rank. Bullet travels thrice that of a kunai, and measures roughly 4 inches in diameter. Knock-back factor is 1/5th that of the user's highest 'Sand Dominion' range.
Description: A loose variation to the Sand Shuriken, this form of projectile sand displacement involves a strongest blast and release, creation stunning blunt force trauma upon impact. After a few seals, the user extends their hand and forms a small sphere made of sand and compresses it to increase its hardness. Once ready, the projectile is shot at such speeds it can strike opponents and knock them unconscious.

Special: Range of shuriken depends on the user's 'Sand Dominion' rank. Shuriken are sharp enough to slice through wood, but can only travel in a straight line. By default, the user can launch up to 5 shuriken, but with additional training, the user can launch 5 more each time.
Description: The Sand Shuriken is a ninjutsu technique that allows the user to utilize their sand powers in order to create deadly projectiles. Using their chakra to control nearby sand, the user will hurl disks of sand at their opponent, a bit larger than conventional shuriken. Spinning through the air at high speeds, these disks are deadly in strength, inflicting large amounts of damage to the target and surrounding objects.

Suna Bunshin no Jutsu (Sand Clone Technique)

Description: With this technique, the Saton user is able to call upon aid from a perfect copy of themselves. Comprised purely of sand, this clone retains the user movement speed and can share linked mental judgement. Best of all, when defeated, the clone explodes into a blob of sand that aims to take over the nearest opponent available. If found, the sand sticks onto the victim, binds them, and constricts them until escape of deactivated.

Description: Known as a Saton master's absolute defenses, this technique summons a sphere of sand aimed to surround the user's body for protective purposes. This sand cocoon is made as a defensive measure against the outside world, or even for stealth purposes when used in conjunction with other techniques. While in the cocoon the user can employ surveillance such as Daisan no Me (Third Eye) to view and sense their opponent and the surrounding battlefield.

Gokusa Maisou (Sand Prison Burial)

Special: Can only alter organic material within user's 'Sand Dominion' range for burial use. Burial ground appears in the form of a 5 meter sphere with victim in the middle. Up to one victim can be buried at a time, plus one more per use each time retrained.
Description: A highly efficient trapping technique, the user performs a few seals and send their chakra along the ground in order to loosen the area below their target. Within moments, this will cause them to sink deep within the earth, surrounded by quicksand. By being imprisoned at this depth, the pressure will completely limit their ability to move.

Special: Armor protection is equivalent to the user's highest 'Sand Dominion' rank. Can defend from up to one blow equivalent to the user's 'SD' rank, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Suna no Yoroi is a defensive ninjutsu that utilizes nearby sand to cover the body in a defense layer. The user manipulates an almost invisible thin layer of sand to cover their body, allowing them to stop some attacks without problem. For the sand to cover the user's body, they have to use their body's chakra. However, when covered by the sand the user becomes heavier and it is more difficult for their body to maneuver. Though the sand does provide some protection, sufficient strikes will break the armor to expose the user's natural body.

Sabaku Kyuu (Desert Coffin)

Special: Only great feats, such as the Gates, can break free from such a hold; RP judge shall determine success. Up to one opponent within the user's 'Sand Dominion' can be bound, plus one more per use each time retrained.
Description: A strong ninjutsu aimed to paralyze the target, the user forms a string of handseals which will cause sand to rise from the ground and wrap around the legs of their target, restraining them in place with crushing power. The sand will then rise up to fully encase the target, moving at rapid speeds. With such large amounts of special chakra-infused sand immobilizing them, the hold can be used to suffocate an opponent or provide discomfort for the sake of interrogation or other means.

Sabaku Sousou (Desert Funeral)

Special: Opponent's must be bound and immobile by the user's sand.
Description: Usually employed after Desert Coffin or any other binding jutsu, the Funeral is a way for the Saton user to advance their constrictive skills, so that they may near-instantly kill their entrapped target in place. Once capture, the user will send a surge of chakra into the sand in order to implode and crush whatever is within it. When used to kill a living organism, the death is so quick that there isn't even time for the victim to feel any pain. The pressure also produces a sizable fountain of blood. in the end, such is their control that the pressure used in the attack can be varied, allowing the Saton user to either break bones or completely liquefy an opponent.

Description: A contact type of sensing involving the user's sand. By dispersing a significant quantity of specialized sand in a targeted area, the user is able to discern the presence of any enemy coming into direct contact with the sand in question. If this substance is spread upon appropriately textured and coloured terrain, it becomes almost impossible to detect by simply its appearance alone. Highly effective for location hidden enemies or when hiding out.

Ryuusa Bakuryuu (Quicksand Waterfall Current)

Special: Size of wave and travel distance depends on the user's highest 'Sand Dominion' rank. Power of tidal wave can stop even a flickering opponent. As least one turn must elapse in order for the sand to be broken down; each subsequent turn held afterward adds 10 extra meters of size and travel.
Description: One of the most impressive sand jutsu, mainly due to the force held behind the wave and the size itself. By crushing rocks and pebbles in the ground with the user’s own sand, they can create more usable sand, all under their complete control. After focusing their chakra, a large tidal wave sized amount sand will rise from the ground to cover the target and the surrounding area. With this technique, a humongous amount of sand is create, enough to power an endless amount of saton based jutsu.

Sabaku Taisou (Desert Imperial Funeral)

Special: Crushes whatever area is covered by the Waterfall Current.
Description: A deadly saton jutsu and one of its strongest by far, this technique allows the user to create a large amount of usable sand by crushing rocks and pebbles underground. After using the Ryuusa Bakuryuu technique to cover the surrounding environment in a ton of sand, the user then places their hands down to the ground and causes the sand to constrict and harden, thereby sucking all life on the surface at rapid rapes like quicksand, and proceed to crush everything it is covering. The compressions also create massive earthquakes.

Description: Sabaku Rou is a large scale version of Sabaku Kyuu, and represents the users peak in mastery over the element. With this technique, the user will cause a large sphere of sand to encircle and trap their target anywhere their sand can travel. Although requiring a large amount of sand, the technique moves the sand at rapid rates, allowing the spherical prison to form in seconds, as long as the user has enough chakra to pay for it.

Description: A contact type of sensing involving the user's sand. By dispersing a significant quantity of specialized sand in a targeted area, the user is able to discern the presence of any enemy coming into direct contact with the sand in question. If this substance is spread upon appropriately textured and coloured terrain, it becomes almost impossible to detect by simply its appearance alone. Highly effective for location hidden enemies or when hiding out.

Ryuusa Bakuryuu (Quicksand Waterfall Current)

Range: Opponent's must be bound and immobile by the user's sand.
Special: Size of wave and travel distance depends on the user's highest 'Sand Dominion' rank. Power of tidal wave can stop even a flickering opponent. As least one turn must elapse in order for the sand to be broken down; each subsequent turn held afterward adds 10 extra meters of size and travel.
Description: One of the most impressive sand jutsu, mainly due to the force held behind the wave and the size itself. By crushing rocks and pebbles in the ground with the user’s own sand, they can create more usable sand, all under their complete control. After focusing their chakra, a large tidal wave sized amount sand will rise from the ground to cover the target and the surrounding area. With this technique, a humongous amount of sand is create, enough to power an endless amount of saton based jutsu.

Sabaku Taisou (Desert Imperial Funeral)

Description: A deadly saton jutsu and one of its strongest by far, this technique allows the user to create a large amount of usable sand by crushing rocks and pebbles underground. After using the Ryuusa Bakuryuu technique to cover the surrounding environment in a ton of sand, the user then places their hands down to the ground and causes the sand to constrict and harden, thereby sucking all life on the surface at rapid rapes like quicksand, and proceed to crush everything it is covering. The compressions also create massive earthquakes.

Sabaky Rou (Desert Prison)

Range: 0 - 50 meters
Special: As long as the user has enough chakra to move all the sand required to create the prison, they can entrap any opponent, on the ground or in the sky. Only an S’ ranked attack can break through the prison. Can be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Sabaku Rou is a large scale version of Sabaku Kyuu, and represents the users peak in mastery over the element. With this technique, the user will cause a large sphere of sand to encircle and trap their target anywhere their sand can travel. Although requiring a large amount of sand, the technique moves the sand at rapid rates, allowing the spherical prison to form in seconds, as long as the user has enough chakra to pay for it.
