With snow beneath her boots the lady would walk through the snow, her destination quite unknown to both her and the people around her- No, she wasn’t exactly meaning to get lost in the endless white blanket that covered the land, but at the same time, she didn’t exactly want to be found by some of the more pesky individuals who made their presences known around the place. Was she going to train? Perhaps, it all depended if she could find a nice place to go- Her training with the pink haired medic had been cut short but- She was soon going to leave this place, so to train instead of start her leave, it would be quite an unfortunate thing to do. Looking around the place, her arms would then cross; But not from the cold, no. This action was something quite common of Blanche to do, and it did make her look quite intimidating in the eyes of others when doing so.

..It gave her.. Some kind of heightened worth- A rank, as so to say. Her body language suggesting that she was someone of quite high status was a bit of a lie as far as the truth went, but Blanche could make herself out to be the Queen of Kunoichi themselves if she wanted to be, and surely, a person or two would actually believe her, should such a title exist. And here she was; Kunoichi queen, walking through a heavy layer of snow, until she soon came to a patch where the snow itself wasn’t up near her knees. Trees littered the area, and it did really look like a winter wonderland of sorts from where she was. Leaning against one of them as the tree took her weight, her blonde hair pressing against the surface of the bark itself, she’d take a look around- Would this be a good place to loiter about and train? Surely not many people would pass by here!

With his mandate being nothing but exploration, the faux shinobi did just that--traversing the snowy plains of Tetsu no Kuni without a real purpose. Axcel was feeling all sorts of nostalgia as his eyes gazed at the setting. It reminded him of Yuki no Kuni. It’s weather was not nearly as harsh, but it was rare for a country outside of his home to be covered in so much snow, despite the season. Despite this, whenever he inhaled the air of these lands, he knew from the air he was breathing in that the place he had arrived in was not his home. It was, despite its appearance, still foreign to the Rokudaime.

As he walked an aimless path, his eyes happened to drift downward where they would fall upon a paw print. It looked like a. . .bear’s paw print? It was a large one too! Maybe. . . Axcel began to reminisce of the polar bear he once had the honor of calling his companion. Acting spontaneously, without putting any forethought into his actions, the lad dashed towards the direction it pointed. Axcel would soon find trees scattered about, and though his surroundings wasn’t nearly as dense as the forests of Hi no Kuni, he couldn’t help but dislike the sudden scenery change. It wouldn’t take long before Axcel noticed a shadow being casted near a distant tree, which reminded the shionbi of his furry companion, causing the boy to take off towards the shadow.

“Mr. Squiggles?!” Axcel yelled as he came to a sliding stop in front of the woman, his sudden halt causing a jet of snow to spray in her direction. Rather than his old friend, Axcel ended up finding a girl. His facial expression was quick to change from delighted to disappointed at the sight of the woman.

“You aren’t my polar bear. . .” He mumbled to himself, though his would be more than audible to the girl before him. His tone was nothing short of saddened.

It had all been so serene- Watching the snow fall down peacefully against the already white painted ground as a cold breeze traversed through the area she was currently standing in- If anything, Blanche herself was at peace as the beautiful environment took over both her senses and soul, it was almost a- “Mr. Squiggles?!” Her eyes, which had once been closed, now opened sharply at the cry that was yelled but a short distance away- What was this now? Just when she thought she was somewhere nice and quiet that she could sty for an hour or two, someone has to turn up. With a heavy sigh the woman would look on to where the voice had come from, soon expecting someone to jump right in to the area which she had claimed as her own. Her assumptions would soon become correct, as a black-haired shinobi could be seen plowing through the snow a good few meters away then-

Screech!!

Snow hit her- EVERYWHERE- What in the name of bloody jesus? ”…..!” her distaste could be seen clearly on her face as she looked at the shinobi- He couldn’t be much older than she was, bore black hair and seemed have some kind of jewelry around his neck- nothing else was interesting about him, really, except for the fact that right now to her, his first impression was that he was an complete and utter douche. ”…….” she would tell him as she would then bring her arms down to her clothing, luckily it being quite waterproof, so she could just sweep the snow off her- Luckily, none tarnished her beautiful face. With her hands then raising elegantly from her clothing back to her bust, she’d flick her head to the side as she would ply herself off the tree, moving a bit closer to the shinobi that had crossed her path. Her face bearing an expression that could be described as intensely annoyed, this wasn’t exactly a nice first meeting.

But- She had caught ahold of a few of his mumbled words- Polar bear? He had a polar bear? Surely this would mean that, if he had a polar bear as a pet- that he would have come from quite a cold place? That would leave her with two guesses. ”I’m assuming that you’re either a person from Tetsu or Yuki no Kuni. Now, Which one do you hail from?” she would ask, interested in what he had to say- She had already met a samurai, and although this guy seemed a bit muscled, he didn’t seem to look the type- But that was just a guess, she could be wrong. Baby blue eyes would look at him for a further few minutes in complete silence, the only sound being the falling slow which made little to no noise. Moving a few steps forward until the two almost met eye-to-eye, her blonde hair would trail behind her, her hourglass frame shifting from side to side as she had walked.

Now- How was he going to answer? And why was he looking for a polar bear? Ah- Wait! ”I do have a piece of information that may help lead you to your Mr.Squiggles, if that is the name of your bear.” she would say, in a tone that matched a cartoon villain, planting clues around the place- The few people she had healed but a hour ago had fallen victim to a bear attack- But what kind of bear? They hadn’t said, so chances were it might have been this guy’s. Was there anything in this information deal that she could get?! A world map?! Maybe? OH, this should be fun! With the smirk still on her face her right hand would rise, push back some blonde hair, her eyes flickering a bit, before then planting themselves on the black haired figure once more, awaiting his response.

. . .Oops. Axcel couldn’t help but feel mildly sorry for what he had done just moments before, despite the first words he uttered were of concern for his lost companion. Despite that, an apology wouldn’t be coming for Axcel. Manners were something the boy was more than lacking in. So, knowing that what had happened was an accident, the words ‘sorry’ wouldn’t be spoken from the boy. He wasn’t sure how to respond to the woman’s disgruntled look, so he wore an equally discontent expression. With furrowed brows, Axcel’s amber eyes followed the woman as she moved toward him.

“Yuki no Kuni!” Axcel exclaimed without hesitation, pounding his right fist against his chest as he shouted the name of his homeland. “Yourself?” he asked, being curious of the girl’s origins. It wasn’t long after her inquiry that she would mention having information Mr. Squiggles. Initially, Axcel’s eyes lit up. “Reall--” He stopped himself, realizing that this was unlike him. He wasn’t supposed to give a shit about that troublesome bear!

“Hmph,” Axcel crossed his arms and turned his head away, shutting his eyes as he did so. “Like I care where that stupid bear is!” The Rokudaime always had an unorthodox relationship with his polar bear. It wasn’t actually his bear, it was his sensei’s pet. When she passed away, Mr. Squiggles began following Axcel. The damn thing was always getting him into trouble too! His demeanor towards the animal was comparable to that of a tsunedere, for lack of a better term. Even though the lad did care for the polar bear, he would never publicly admit to showing concern for Mr. Squiggles Nope, not today anyways!

“Yuki no Kuni!”

So- Her deduction had been correct, and the guy did come from Yuki. Even though that answered the question there was so much more to ask- Why was he looking for a polar bear (Was it even his?!), what’s that lovely pendant round his neck? Why was he speaking with the mentality of a ten year old? With questions unanswered would the blonde keep the same posture up, her arms crossed with her head looking it but a little bit up to him, he towering over her by if but an inch or two- Her heels did help quite well in adding height to herself but all in all, she was quite tall anyhow- Some may say that they were simply for appearance but she knew that they had deadly intent at times! She needed to go shopping to get a new pair- Oh woe was she, torn between buying a world map and a new pair of shoes. Life was so hard sometimes.

However, whether or not the guy really was an idiot or not seemed to be answered as he asked which village she was from- Clearly upon her neck hung a headband which looked recently shined, bearing the symbol of her village. But, due to the fact that she had pride in her village, instead of just pointing at the metal plate, she would speak the name, too; ”I’m from Kusagakure.” her voice, almost angelic in tone, would be a stark contrast to the pissed off look on her face. Of course it was hard to tell whether she was or not due to her constant wearing of that face, but, he would probably not know better and assume that she was annoyed at something, or him. This was just understandable seeing as he had just managed to fling snow at her- Without an apology.

”If you didn’t care so much about that bear then why would you be in this environment? Surely enough this place and Yuki no kuni are the most obvious places a polar bear would feel most at home at? Are you sure you don’t want this information?” she would ask, questioning his change of attitude towards the great white creature. Had she caught him out? Nonetheless- Looking back at what he had said about his home village- She knew full well that by now, Yukigakure was but a large lump of snow, the buildings having been probably deserted after the war had ravagaed all of the minor villages, much alike her own village. Ruins lay where they once were but; Was he planning to go back? She couldn’t tell exactly as he bore no headband on his form that could show that he was still faithful to the village, but the way that he had slammed his chest with his fist showed at least some chance that he was.

It wasn’t as if she cared anyway.

Her baby blue eyes looking back to his the smirk having long faded, she’d go ahead and ask another question; ”You have nothing that needs to be healed, do you?” she would ask, wondering if she could make a bit of Ryo by perhaps healing any scars or cuts that the man had- She figured that he’d find himself in a lot of trouble sooner or later due to his lack of manners and for just.. being himself, so, it would always be nice to know a medic as brilliant as she was for future work that needed to be done. Her plans were ready to be used, but it was always nice to spread around her name as a medical specialist… Who knows, perhaps she was talking to the future Yukikage!?!?

So she was from Kusa? Axcel’s stomach churned at the mere mentioning of Kusagakure. He still remembered his terrible, terrible journey into the land, where had ran into Sasori Fina, Aburame Yuuku, Yuuryou and Ekitai Kaorin all on hostile terms. At least--they were hostile. The four were the legends of his generation--household names in not just their own lands, but lands throughout the continent. It was a miracle that Axcel, barely a chunin at the age of thirteen, managed to escape not only with his life, but the life of the the then leader--Aburame Yuuku, which naturally threw Axcel in the spotlight of the shinobi world.

Perhaps Axcel should keep his name to himself when talking with this woman. . .

“Most at home at? Hah! So long as their is cola available he doesn’t care where he is!” Axcel’s crossed arms only tightened and his neck rotated even more, despite having already turned as much as the human body would have allowed him. There was definitely truth to what he said--if Mr. Squiggles caught wind of a cola factory in the dunes of Kaze no Kuni it would take the world to stop him from venturing through the sands in order to find it. “I’m sure!” Axcel shouted, stubborn to a fault. “The reason I’m here is because. . .well, because this is the first I’ve heard of people even being allowed in Tetsu no Kuni.” He spoke, opening one eye and glancing towards the angry looking blonde. It was true--what he really sought in the Samurai controlled land was an adventure. “I thought maybe something was going on in the country, but it looks desolate. . .”

Then came a question regarding being healed. As far as Axcel was aware, he couldn’t be healthier! He had no wounds and wasn’t fatigued at all despite his long travel. “I’m fine. . .” he replied, confused as to why he was asked in the first place. She didn’t seem like the type to generously heal a wounded person--not with the face she was wearing anyways. Speaking of her face, just why was did she look so damn mad? Didn’t she know if she kept making that facial expression, it would be stuck like that forever?! Of course it wasn’t true--but when Axcel was told of the expression he had genuinely believed it!

Axcel couldn’t help himself anymore--he had to ask. “Oi, what’s with the ugly face?” Though he wasn’t necessarily referring to her face, but the expression she had been wearing since the start of their little meeting.

Her previous assumptions of the boy having something quite odd about him seemed to be true as he linked the words polar bear and cola. Sure enough she knew what cola was and she knew well what a polar bear looked like after having read a few books on animals as a child but- To put them together? It was very strange, he spoke as if it was the truth but what he said seemed hardly believeable. Who gave their polar bear cola? It seemed to be a strange thought, and it would no doubt play hell with the insides of the bear- Unless he had been given it since he was a cub, perhaps he had grown used to- I can’t believe I’m actually thinking this over. shaking her head a little bit as she came back to reality, the musings of polar bears drinking cola having far gone, her attention would be moved back to the Yuki nin himself. The way that he spoke about the bear showed that he was angry at it- Yet a few minutes ago he had seemed interesting in finding it.

But that was no problem to her- It was some weird event in his own life which she had no interest in listening to. ”Desolate? Hardly. The Chuunin exams are going on at the moment within the country. Villages no doubt felt it safer to host the exams in a land which is known for it’s warriors of peace.” she would say, if but a slight spark of sarcasm in her tone- Of course, Samurai had been known to break up feuds in villages but at times in the past, they had been the ones starting trouble. She couldn’t exactly say that she trusted these people but at the same time, if she wanted to join the exams the next time they were on, assuring they would be in the same place, she’d need to get used to the mysterious figures clad in heavy armour.

As he then said that he had nothing wrong with him that she could heal, she would perhaps sigh inwardly, her annoyed expression staying on her face as she’d look at him, hardly happy that she still could find no business- Did they know how much power she had?! Those guys were just missing out. Now- She would have said something else, perhaps to initiate some pleasant conversation about Tetsu no Kuni itself when-

“Oi, what’s with the ugly fa-?”

"-DON'T YOU FUCKING START ON ME YOU IGNORANT LITTLE PRICK I'LL RIP OUT YOUR LARGE INTESTINE AND USE IT AS A SKIPPING ROPE."

She would blast out before he even had time to finish his sentence, her expression turning to that of a cross between madness and anger- Ugly face!? From him? He was hardly a beauty! She however, was beautiful! Gods swooned at her appearance and she could even make angels jealous simply by smiling (Something which she hardly did, but, when she did smile, it's often very pretty!). Her once innocent eyes now blazing with the flames of a thousand house fires her angry gaze would be intent on him, and him only. But moments later her expression would lose it’s overly angry touch, as her tone also lowered. ”However; You have a very pretty pendant around your neck. It would be a fucking shame to dislocate a head of such lovely black hair from it’s shoulders, right? What hair products do you use?” of course- She was in fact genuinely complimenting his hair, it was quite lovely, smooth, shiny- Her own was similar and of course she placed hers before his but, his was second to hers- Maybe. But after calling her face ugly she felt.. insulted on an extremely grand scale! But this change of mood- It could be seen as strange- Even terrifying, but at the same time, her inquiry about his haircare products was waiting to be answered.

“The Chuunin Exams? How interesting. . .” Axcel said, his voice trailing off as he responded. He hadn’t expected the Chuunin Exams to be held this early, considering the war was just over. Still, the thought of exams being held for genin wasn’t all that radical--resuming shinobi promotion just as it was before the great war was part of the recovery process and with many of the Chuunin and Jounin of the previous generation having fallen during battle, there wasn’t a time more in need of potential leaders. However, to hold them in Tetsu no Kuni was a whole different question. The Samurai were not shinobi--there was no reason to have them govern and police shinobi while they attempted to hold a Chuunin Exam.

As for the woman? She seemed less than excited when Axcel told her he had no wounds that needed healing. Axcel, on the other hand, was rather grateful that he was unharmed. He hated dealing with doctors--their methods always seemed to consist of wrapping him in bandages and calling it a day. That was hardly medicine! After his mind drifted elsewhere and he posed a question to the lady, the Rokudaime would see the girl’s flip switch in an instant.

"-DON'T YOU FUCKING START ON ME YOU IGNORANT LITTLE PRICK I'LL RIP OUT YOUR LARGE INTESTINE AND USE IT AS A SKIPPING ROPE."

“Ah, my name is Axcel by the way!” It was, as odd as it seemed, his immediate response to the girl’s hysteria, his expression and demeanor unfazed by the girl’s own sudden change. It wasn’t that the girl hadn’t become a scary, intimidating woman that should be feared. No--she was definitely, for those few moments, as scary as a human could be. A loud, menacing voice accompanied by a petrifying gaze that would turn even the most courageous of men into a fetal position. The fault lied within Axcel, who was simply both ignorant of the emotion and oblivious of the woman’s anger. That was only half true though--there was one person who, when angry, scared the shit out of Axcel--although those details were unimportant.

After the girl appeared to have calmed down, Axcel suddenly received a compliment on the pendant he wore around his neck. His eyes shifted downward onto the pendant, his lips stretching into a soft smile as he did so. Turning his head up, he smiled at the woman. “Thanks!” He said cheerfuly, his eyes squinting as he flashed a smile. “Of course! If my head were to be severed, then I would. . .” His voice grew soft, almost morbid at the thought of such an act happening, before continuing his statement. “Then I wouldn’t be able to eat strawberry sundaes!” The thought of such a horrible life almost forced him to tears. Dying from having his head severed hadn’t even crossed his mind--not yet anyways, his first and foremost concern was the inability to consume his favorite desert.

“Hair Product?” Axcel said, tilting his head to the side. “I’ve never used any.”

Her anger was quite intimidating- If not formidable, and the blonde, despite having shouted at the guy in such a way that others would probably run away, would be somewhat.. disappointed with his lack of reaction- But it was no matter, really, as where she would have perhaps received a plea she instead received a name, Axcel? It was quite a strange one but then again with Blanche as a name she couldn’t speak much herself. Where had past been an angry face of annoyance now had quite a content smirk, quite glad that she had acquired a name- It could perhaps be fake, but if that was true, she’d just shout at him even more, which, really, she quite enjoyed.

With this grin still intact she would go forwards to introduce herself- As he had been so kind to do so himself, it was only fair that she do the same. Despite being a bitch at times, she did have manners- The only thing was, not many people saw them. What they did see, however- was usually less liked.

”The name is Blanche- Medic extraordinaire and Kusagakure’s rose.
It’s a pleasure to meet you, Axcel.”

This expression would stay for a few moments- It wasn’t really common for her to find someone who dismissed her burst of anger with a cool, collected expression- Did he have something wrong with him? Or did he actually have no sense of fear? No matter what it was, it was easy to point out the differences out in the two from the way they introduced themselves- But that should be no matter as it was easy anyhow to show the differences by the way that he spoke; How he spoke, and the expressions that she pulled. Although Blanche was somewhat tame at the moment, her grin bore nothing but selfish desire and sinister means; and yet; At the same time, it was strangely alluring.

However what would come next, despite the years on her life, would prove as quite.. strange; His only concern as to if his head was lopped off would be that he wouldn’t be able to eat strawberry sundae’s? What was that- Ice cream, right? What a strange little boy. ”I do appreciate your positivity but I’m sure that if your head was lopped off you would find yourself unable to do many more a thing, including eating Sundae’s” she would tell him in a matter-of-fact tone, wondering exactly whether or not he had any more worries about having it done- Of course she wasn’t planning to do it to him now, no- ”You dont? Oh- That’s a shame.” He seemed like a decent person, not great no, but tolerable. Both of her arms crossing once more, she would pause before speaking;

”..You wouldn’t have a word map that I could buy off you, would you?”

A request simple enough- But did he have one he was willing to give to her? She was willing to pay of course, but was he willing to give up a world map, should he have done? After this she would wait with her blue eyes lingering on him intently, hoping for a yes. Should he say no she wouldn’t be disappointed however, she could just go to a shop and buy one herself. But this route- it was much easier, and faster.

Blanche? The name was certainly unusual, though Axcel wasn’t one to talk considering how odd his own name was. She was a medic, something Axcel could have figured from her earlier statements, and she referred to herself as Kusagakure’s rose. “Just a rose? Nothing fancy like, Kusagakure’s Iron Rose?” Axcel said, posing dramatically by the end of his sentence. “Such a boring title!” He exclaimed, his words were spoken half jokingly yet held some truth to them, at least in his opinion.

When she mentioned his inability to do several other things outside of eating strawberry sundaes should his head become severed the girl would be met with a swift response. “As if anything else matters!” Axcel said, his reply was spoken without any hesitation. His love for strawberry sundaes was unmatched—it should have been obvious why it elevated into its own tier of importance. That was how Axcel saw it, anyways.

“A world map?” Axcel placed both of his hands behind his head comfortably. “I do have one—though I’m not sure if I want to sell it. . .” The map in his possession had the location of a hidden village marked—a village he may return to in good time. Although Axcel was without much ryo, and he definitely needed some, simply selling the world map just like that would end up doing more harm than good for him. Though he supposed he could always find Kirigakure again at a later time. . .

“Perhaps for 10,001 ryo!”

To say the least her title had been made up, but it spoke the truth- Although she was very pretty, and she knew that, she also had a deadly temper, which she was aware of- Every rose has its thorns, and that was quite true for Blanche. However- As his comment came, she couldn’t help but take it in to consideration a little bit, strangely taking the critique as constructive criticism as her head would tilt to the side, her right hand rising and being placed under her chin, adopting a thinking pose. ”Yeah, come to think about it Iron rose does sound a bit more badass. Thanks. I’ll remember that.” she’d tell the black haired male as she thought about it for a few moments- Iron rose? Adamantine rose? Nah, Iron rose did sound cool. But steel rose- Oh the possibilities!

She would disregard what he had to say about the strawberry sundaes that he seemed so.. so obsessed with. Surely enough she had her own obsessions but to worry about not being able to eat them than death itself was quite strange. Instead she focused on what he had to say next, and replied in accordance to it, her blonde hair gently being caressed by her right hand, its index finger winding around a sumptuous yellow curl. ”You have one, great? What’s the asking price?” she’d request, he speaking of the price that he wanted moments afterwrards. Her right hand dropped suddenly to her pocket where she rummaged about, taking out her money and counting it, taking but a moment or two, before she would then place it back in her pocket.

With quite a distraught look on her face, she would begin to speak; Whether or not the look was fake hadn’t mattered (It probably was, knowing her lack of facial expressions),

she was short of funds, and that was it.

”I.. I only have 10,000 Ryo..”

It was quite an oddity- She did only have 10,000 Ryo of course, but she needed this map, and she couldn’t be bothered to have to make a pit stop in some kind of shop to assure that she had one- She could get one off this guy now- which would be quite pleasant. ”My offer is 10,000 Ryo and..” as her words trailed, emphasis would be drawn to her lips as she would pucker her lips in quite a tempting manner as her blue eyes lay innocently on him, blowing a kiss- She had done this before, many a time, and some may say that she had grown quite talented at it. With her eyes still on Axcel, she would await his response, wondering exactly what kind of map he had in his possession.

Surely enough it would be interesting to see if he had marked any places- He seemed like the place to travel and perhaps, just maybe it would have the location of Yukigakure on there? Not that she wanted to go to the place, too cold for her but, it was still quite neat to be able to know where it was. But nonetheless, no matter if it was fully marked or unmarked, she was looking to buy this map today, so, with her angelic looks and tantalizing curves, the woman would stand there rigid, her hair moving gently through the breeze whilst her somewhat softened gaze rested on him as she wondered if he would take up her offer or not- 10,000 Ryo and a kiss from perhaps one of the most beautiful Kunoichi in the world- It was something no man could resist..!

..Unless he was gay.

“It is awesome, isn’t it? Not as quite as great as Yukigakure no Sato’s Hyoukishi, but still awesome nonetheless!” Axcel said, showing off his own title. Indeed, while many foreigners who knew Axcel by reputation may have believed the name ‘Hyoukishi’ to be but an alias, it was in reality a title bestowed onto him by the people of Yukigakure. A prestigious title given to only a single shinobi of Yukigakure once every several generations—one that was unlikely to ever have a successor, considering the village’s current circumstance.

What came next was. . .something unorthodox. When Blanche mentioned she had only 10,000 ryo, she paused for a few moments before proposing that she give Axcel all her ryo as well as. . . Well, she never said. Instead, she began making some weird gestures with her face—ones that Axcel didn’t understand at all. The lad scratched the back of his head as she puckered her lips and eyed Axcel. The Rokudaime merely shrugged and parted his lips to ask her a daring question.

“What’s wrong with your face?” Moments after asking his question, Axcel reached into the folds of his robe, pulling out a raveled map. “10,000 ryo will be fine, but. . .” he said, his voice trailing on, as if he were going to take up Blanche on her offer (which he didn’t even realize was being offered). “. . .you’ll owe me a strawberry sundae, one day!” He said enthusiastically, as he held the map out.

”Not as quite as great as Yukigakure no Sato’s Hyoukishi”

Shrugging a bit at this, she would shake her head. It didn’t sound all that cool, it made him sound like a power ranger or something like that- Some guy who wore spandex, running about and saving people. Or that’s the impression that Blanche had. ”……” however she had nothing to say about it really, so there was not much point in even speaking just to fill the gap. An awkward silence would occur between the two after he had spoken of his own title, and Blanche paid no attention to making sure that the awkwardness would cease. Surely enough after having experienced the awkwardness of the guy first hand already, surely he wouldn’t feel that out of place with it- Blanche didn’t, she was absolutely fine. Until—

“What’s wrong with your face?”

The guy couldn’t help but screw up, right? Almost instantly after this was said- No, half-way through the word face, Blanche’s once angelic expression turned in to that of the angriest demons in hell, her brows furrowing. Despite the fact that she looked fearsome to say the least, she still retained that edge of beauty that she had about her. Some say that some people looked beautiful when they were angry, Blanche usually had this with every expression she pulled- Her anger, however, gave off a sense of danger as her eyes flared open with her blue eyes almost scarily contrasting against the colour of her skin and hair, her pupils contracting as her fiery look would descend down from the heavens and in to Axcel’s very soul.

”DON’T. MAKE ME. CAUTERIZE. YOUR ASS.”

Along her right hand would glow the faintest of reds, her inner beast screaming at her to use the technique for the greater good- It was so tempting of course, Kijo desired to see her elegant hands glistening with crimson and it was almost like sustenance for her to see people getting harmed, yet Blanche herself did to quite considerable effort to contain the ever increasing craving, and, as the faint glow dissipated in to the air, it would soon somewhat pass. The need was still there of course, Kijo having been already tempted by Axcel’s last insult, but this was regressed a little, her eyes however would keep themselves plastered on him as she shook her head.

The shock would probably be too much for Axcel..!

It should have been expected, but Axcel hadn’t the slightest clue she had taken offense to what he said regarding her appearence. In his eyes, she was making all sorts of weird gestures with her face! He couldn’t help but think something was amiss, so it was only common decency on his part to ask if something was wrong with her. Though his manners seemed to be intact, it was clear Axcel needed to work on articulating his thoughts better. . .

Still, despite her growing voice and fierce tone, Axcel’s own facial expression wouldn’t change. He was, once again, unfazed by her sudden outburst—he saw the sudden increase in volume as Blanche just getting excited. She was almost as easily excitable as Axcel! The Rokudaime never met the girl’s yell with his own response this time, instead opting to wait for her to finish speaking and respond to him agreeing to sell the map for ten thousand ryo.

It wasn’t moments after Axcel’s proposal did Blanche utter words that was almost blasphemous to Axcel. Almost. It wasn’t ice cream that the boy lusted over, but strawberries. Strawberry sundaes were his favorite treat that involved strawberries, and one of his many dreams was to acquire an infinite supply of the delicious dessert! Still, though he placed strawberries in their own tier of greatness, Axcel was surprised at the notion of her disliking ice cream.

“I didn’t say you had to have one,” he responded, flashing a toothy grin. He still held the map out, awaiting her to accept or decline the trade. Ten thousand ryo would go a long way—in fact, it was just what he needed in order to enter the Samurai Compound, or at least, wherever he was allowed to go in. The visitors badge would allow him to spectate the chuunin exams—something he had a deep interest in.

Her past bout of rage still remained deep within her mind and yet- This guy still stood unaffected by her yell! This guy was impressive, but, at the same time although she had negligible respect for him for just that, she hated his guts for not running away and crying for his mother. But- She would have to keep her stance and persona tame enough for now- This was business after all. With the offer still there, her hand would dig deep in to the pocket where her ryo was, before taking out a certain amount of money- 10,000 ryo to be exact- and keeping it held in her hand for a few moments as she listened to him speak on his input on the whole ice cream fuss that had been brought up- His obsession with it seemed.. strange.

It was a truth however that she had her own obsessions; After the events in the war it was truth that her sanity had slowly declined as she buried herself in her medical work and viewed textbooks as bibles, studying all that she could. Maybe this guy had some kind of tragedy in which ice cream was involved and he made up for it now? Maybe a lover of his was drowned in a vat of it? It was questionable and quite a strange theory but there could be many different reasons behind it. Or maybe he just liked the sweet dessert- which was probably the most valid reason out there. Her blue eyes scaling the black spikes of his hair, they would soon descend to his eyes once more, and her hand would outstretch the ryo- In exchange for the map.

She would speak in a firm tone, waiting for the map to be placed in her hands – Work would soon begin and her plans would unfold. With her mouth in some kind of a smug smirk, one that she had on her face in lieu of smiles and other things, she would question as the gleam of his necklace caught her eye once more. ”What does your necklace stand for? Men don’t generally wear necklaces so this one.. ” pause. ”..Must mean a lot to you.” she would say- Surely enough she was a woman who sought the material worth of jewellery when she wanted to, and that was quite a beautiful pendant- Was he selling it? Probably not- The shape of it; A snowflake, surely pointed towards his origins from Yuki no kuni.

She bore no signs of jewellery on her own person- But of course this was simply because of the fact that she was a doctor- If you had a doctor wearing rings on their fingers during an operation, who knows what could happen- The item would surely get in the way. There had been a time where her hand had worn a certain ring but no more; Its whereabouts only known to Blanche now. Her figure looked clean, almost sterile from the clothes she wore and her untarnished face, but her personality was far from that. This guy knew it by now; And yet he chose not to care. With her hand still outstretched, she would await Axcel’s response to both things said, her face having adopted a less annoyed look in the meantime.
