I can’t continue on this path…..A life anticipating death isn’t the way to live..
Contemplation amongst the afternoon’s illusion; the heavens weeping an angelic bawl, rain not of blue, but pastel white falling towards the ground. Soft in their descent, gorgeous in their mannerism, this silent concerto of continual—perpetual whimpering from above was soothing. Tetsu no Kuni was one of the few continents that experienced such an event, a spectacle for the senses, and a cinematic entice for the eyes. If its own inhabitants couldn’t appreciate the work of art that lingered over their negligent heads, the visitors would surely make up for the lack of attention. This was especially true for one individual.
Along the pathway the man garbed in black brusquely traveled on, mere meters ahead (roughly ten) a young individual rested beneath the shelter of a tree’s security. Rear positioned on the soft, now warmed blossoming olive of the ground, shade occupying the entirety of his frame while the branches above protected his body from the plunge of arctic precipitation as his back rested against the trunk. A grand oak complimenting leverage and equilibrium, the mysterious individual was known other then Uchiha Ryūsuke.
“Why am I here?” Questions escaping into the air, thought not seeking the consideration of an audience, but more so the accolade of silence. Through the slits of scarlet red that loomed over his forehead, the steel of his Hitai-Ate held a lackluster emergence in the shadows. Orbs of purple peering directly forward, without intention or aim, the only cheerful remnant of his being was the olive that colored his Flak Jacket. Physically warm, as he was contentedly garbed in the shelter of his Navy blue kosode and white hakuma, as well as a silver scarf that danced in front of him, only fastened through a wrap around the neck, the Uchiha was spiritually cold. “Purpose…” Echoing in a monotone characteristic, only the astute ears of a local animal would catch the last segment.
