How do i proceed?

OK so here is where i am at...
I have joined the site, but i joined in a nation that is not really existing, so i did a travel to another... and now i have that i am in stone. But no one really looked at my travel after i had asked, so i figured it was good, and moved to the gates where i posted that i ENTERED the village....
After a day or so and no one answered that i figured that was just a place to say you were coming and going from the village... so i then posted in tower to request a mission... I am now unsure if i needed permission to go on the mission or if i now just make a post about the mission....
Post finishing the mission, what else would i have to do? like do i need someone to accept that the mission was completed? and then post in the tower to be paid???
I guess my real question is at what times do i need a mod's approval to continue on with my movements? and just what should i do now???
