• It is common among the Hoshigake clan for members to be brash. Often times this can be an understatement with their reintroduction into the common realm of shinobi as they are seen as otherworldly despite their contributions to the overall defense of a respective village. Dagron is no different and perhaps takes it to an entirely new level, as there is no village he feels deserves his respect. He is heedless to the consequences of what he says or does. He has an overpowering need to be free from the restraints that village obligations place. This way of thinking has led him to detest most shinobi and their villages.
  
• Most noticeable is that Hoshigake are voracious eaters. To supplement their large size, they require large amounts of food to sustain them. Dagron has an insatiable hunger, but not for deer, wheat, or other foods. No. Dagron craves the flesh of other shinobi and has since abandoning his home village where he murdered several genin and ate them in secret. Since he has promised to devour every shinobi he crosses that holds allegiance to a village.
  
• Other than being loud, hungry, and rude. Dagron is a bloodthirsty creature. His ideal world is one bathed in blood and war, where he can go berserk. There is no mercy in the world, especially not one at war. With so many to destroy and devour, how could the idea no appeal to this ravenous Hoshigake?
  
• There is a soft side to this otherwise sociopathic murderer. Nature is treated with great respect, particularly those of the ocean. Sometimes Dagron can even grow fond of Suiton users or the like, for their gentle nature and natural inclination for everything aquatic.

Its execution is simple - the ninja can attach the note to another object such as a kunai or log, and upon activation, the note is set and begins either a slow countdown burn, which eventually results in a large explosion, or the explosion in itself upon command

  Special: Shark skin serves to halve incoming impacting damage, though piercing attacks, those that exploit an elemental weakness, or attacks stronger in rank will go through the cartilage with full power. Ineffective against Genjutsu.
  Description: Part of what makes a Hoshigake so unique is its fusion of human and shark DNA. Having gained a thin layer of cartilage underneath their blueish skin as a result, the user learns how to use that cartilage in combination with their chakra in order to lessen the impact of melee strikes against them. By channeling their special shark chakra into the thin layer underneath the skin, the cartilage there begins to act like a sponge, ready to cushion damage. As a result, whenever the user is hit, the sponge-like manner of the cartilage absorbs a portion of the damage, reducing the damage done to the user significantly.

  Description: Yet another fierce factor regarding sharks is their monstrous strength, represented in this passive ability that greatly increases the clan member's brute strength. With the shark DNA sprouting within, the clan member's muscles have become greatly enhanced and are capable of performing much greater actions of lifting and overpowering the opponent.

  Description: The Hoshigaki Clan are very much used to fighting underwater, and in fact feel at home in it. This is why their whole fighting style is based upon flooding the field and then forcing the opponent to fight underwater, where the user will have the advantage. Because of their constant fighting underwater, they've learned how to move and manipulate their own bodies while submerged, making them terribly difficult opponents to match when they're in their element. This ability, once learned, allows the user to fight with grace and ease underwater, to the very point that it seems like they were fighting naturally above it.

  Description: Sharks have amazing eyesight. Since they often swim the depths of the ocean, where it is dark and what little light that comes through the water is distorted, their ability to perceive minor changes is particularly excellent. Members of the clan learn to mimic these enhanced perceptions, able to peer through the darkest of night as if it were noon and the ability to notice subtle changes like the fluttering of a specific leaf in the wind.

  Special: Allows the user to use their sense of smell to hunt down opponents who have been injured by tracing their blood underwater. The user must cut the opponent and allow them to bleed. However, if multiple blood trails enter their Scent range, the clan member is unable to tell differing scents apart, seeing/sensing the blood as all the same thing. Does not work outside of water.

  Description: After injuring an opponent, the Hoshigake will generally try to force an underwater fight by flooding the field or trapping someone with some other water-based techniques. By doing this, the user is capable of using their sense of smell to track the scent of the blood of the opponent, making it much more difficult to hide from them.

  Special: Allows the user the capability of switching between the use of gills and lungs. If activated above ground, the user is capable of suffocating to death. Highest rank known determines time it takes to switch from gills to lungs, and vice-versa.

  Description: Normally, the Hoshigake's body is set to breath through the lungs, which takes in oxygen from the air and then allows the user to exhale. However, the Hoshigake's body has a secondary set of breathing tools obtained from their fantastic shark DNA - gills. By activating this technique, the user becomes capable of switching the manner in which their brain commands the body, moving to use the gills instead of the lungs. In this manner, it is impossible for the Hoshigaki to drown as they are now using gills to breath. To cancel the technique, the user simply uses mental command, ending the effect and transitioning back to the use of the lungs.

  Stamina: High
  Special: Allows the user to enter a sort of 'berserk' status, barring the use of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and chakra in general in favor of powering their physicality, endurance and stamina. During this mode, only known Taijutsu may be used. Once active, the Frenzy may not be cancelled. No pain is felt during frenzy, but during cool-down, all damage suffered is delivered onto the user all at once, making the pain much worse all at once. Cool-down cannot be avoided by leaving a thread, as all turns must be RP'ed out; coincidentally, cool-down occurs the turn immediately after the final Frenzy turn. Finally, during cool-down, movement speed is half of the user's maximum frenzy boost, (so if it's 140%, you'll move at 70% speed for the remainder of the cool-down) , and the strength gained from 'Same no Ryoku (Strength of the Shark)' is temporarily disabled.

  Description: Nothing is quite as frightening as a shark who has entered a frenzy. When the shark becomes enraged or maddened, it enters a state of mind that effectively forces the creature to become nerve-dead. During this time, they cannot feel any pain, and are capable of fighting with the intense need for survival. This survival mechanism allows the clan member to fight with a vicious ferocity and without the ability to feel pain. After the frenzy, the user will become exhausted, reducing his or her ability to fight dramatically.

• Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Technique) ( -150 )

  Range: 0 -10 meters
  Chakra: Low
  Special: Fills a large, 10 meter area with mist as long as the user keep the technique flowing. Each time retrained, area of mist expands by 10 more meters. Mist blocks out all doujutsu requiring clear visibility.
  Description: Though very basic, the Hidden Mist Technique allows for the stealthier side of combat to rule. After forming a few simple handseals, the user causes the area surrounding their target to be covered in fog. The low visibility allows the ninja to silently and secretly assassinate their target, as they can move unseen, and if careful, unheard.

• Mizuame Nabara (Starch Syrup Capture Field) ( -150 )
  Rank: C+C+C
  Type: Supplementary / Suiton Ninjutsu
  Range: 0 - 10 meters
  Chakra: Mid
  Special: Glue freezes opponent in place for 1/2 a turn, plus 1/2 more each time retrained. Victims can only break free by providing a chakra burst equal to double that of the syrup cost, including retraining for extra turns. If the user does not coat their feet in special chakra, they can be stuck by this as well.
  Description: Mizuame Nabara is a ninjutsu technique utilizing Suiton. After forming the needed handseals, the user will quickly expel a sticky liquid from their mouths. If the target runs on top of the liquid, their feet will become glued to its sticky surface. If the user focuses chakra to their feet before touching the surface, they can hover above and move over it without hindrance. This allows the caster or a comrade to charge and attack without fear of becoming bogged down as well, as long as they keep the chakra to their feet steady.

• Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Techqniue) ( -100 )

  Type: Supplementary / Suiton Ninjutsu

  Chakra: Mid
  Special: Clone speed matches that of the user. Up to one clone can be made at a time, plus one more each time retrained. Explosion range covers 5 meters. For every 4 clones simultaneously detonated over an opponent, the effects of 'Water Prison' can be achieved without needing physical contact. Same 'Prison' effects apply.
  Description: With this technique, the Suiton user is able to call upon aid from a perfect copy of themselves. Comprised purely of water, this clone retains the user movement speed and can share linked mental judgement. Best of all, physical strikes fixed on a point within their body will force it to break up into a puddle and join the mass below, able to avoid danger and regenerate anywhere the water exists. Finally, when defeated, the clone explodes into a blob of water that aims to take over the nearest opponent available. If found, the water envelops the victim whole, drowning them in the user's cursed water and setting up more attacks of the same nature.

  Special: Each time retrained, blast extends 5 more meters. Knock-back equals half of the user's maximum range.
  Description: Mizurappa is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing Suiton. After forming the needed handseals, the user will expel a strong jet of water at their opponent from their mouths. This stream moves frighteningly fast, and carried enough force to knock over even strong boulders.

  Special: Bullets are fired from the mouth, all at once in the form of straight lined stream–like fashion. By default, 5 bullets can be fired at once, plus 5 more each time retrained. Must hold seals while firing. Bullets pierces 'C' ranked barriers and below, and move at the speed of a kunai.
  Description: A simple yet effective suiton technique, after forming the necessary hand seals, the user manifests bullet sized water projectiles in their mouth, which can then spit at their opponent at fast speeds for a quick attack. As the user’s knowledge of the this technique increases, so does the amount of bullets they can fire off.

• Baku Suishouha (Bursting Water Collision Waves) ( -100 )

  Type: Offensive / Suiton Ninjutsu
  Range: 0 - 40 meters
  Chakra: Very High
  Special: The waves are delivered through the user's mouth and proceed to rapidly flood out an entire area. When the user is ‘surfing’ the waves, their movement speed temporarily doubles. Flooding depends on how long the user spends time spewing water, and as a result, amounts are measured by height, width and length.

  Description: Baku Suishouha is an offensive ninjutsu technique utilizing Suiton. After forming the needed handseals, the user will take a deep breath and appear to expel water from their mouth or gullet. This will then expand into a large volume of water, propelled forwards at high speeds, resulting in powerful initial blasting damage, as well as plenty of water to flood a small village, break down large barriers, or put out large fires. Lastly, if the user wishes, they can push a bit of additional chakra into their feel so that they can essentially walk along the water and even ride it as if they were surfing.

• Suiryuuben (Water Dragon Whip) ( -150 )

  Type: Offensive / Suiton Ninjutsu
  Range: 0 - 30 meters
  Chakra: Very High to summon; Mid each turn kept up.
  Special: Sphere exists as long as the user is willing to put chakra into it. Sphere measures 15 meters and floats just above the user's head. Up to 10 whips can emerge at once and attack anything within the user's eyesight on command, 360 degrees; retraining adds 10 more tentacles each time.
  Description: Suiryuuben is a ninjutsu technique utilizing Suiton which will allow the user to generate a whirling sphere of water capable of both defending from attacks and carrying out its own strikes. After forming the necessary handseals, a large sphere of water forms above the user’s head. This sphere can then emit whips of water, razor sharp at the tips, which can seek out and impale their assigned targets. The whips move slightly faster than the user’s current build allows them to, and can swat away incoming attacks, reform if their limbs are cut off, and impale anyone that comes near.
