So as it stands I've been a little lost with exactly what I want to do to contribute to the plot both bringing back the village and the family. That's over now though and I'm turning a mistake into an advantage to RP with all or as many of you involved in the plot as I can. I made Kiyoshi Tenzo and elder ninja compared to the rest of the family, because of this I am available for a myriad of different kinds of flash backs. I'm open to suggestions but I also have suggestions for stores of each side of the family, very vague scenarios that are open to adjustment depending on your specific needs for your character.

For any Tenzo who would like to plot with me I recommend...

Kiyoshi could have been an excellent teacher back in the homeland and instructed you when you were young fledgling shinobi.

Kiyoshi could have been a close family friend having known your parents.

Kiyoshi could have been a team member on one of your teams serving as a sensor.




For the filthy Kekkai mongrels I offer...

During your youth, Tenzo was distrustful of the Kekkai family and always suspecting you of misdeeds. This can include a rivalry between our characters that may have started early on and carried on for years (possibly even the destruction and reconstruction of Ame.)

Although we may not have had any liking for each other back in the village, I can imagine we were still occasionally placed on teams to compliment each other better. I am open to writing on a Kekkai's squad as a distrusting ninja that you in turn may not be so sure that I won't stab you in the back. Rest assured, I won't stab you in the back... during a flashback? nonsensical i say!





If as many members are available for a flash back I want to use Kiyoshi Tenzo as a writing tool to add a history more detailed and specific to our characters and their development. I assume many of you are like me and created many rain shinobi fresh solely to help rebuild Ame and make it into a village we can inhabit once more. By committed a flashback scene or two you can help define your character and his or her own personal reasons for why the wish to restore Ame.

Once I have two or more flashbacks done I would also request that someone who plans to do at least one flashback with me be willing to discover Kiyoshi's survival in kiri. Once discovered Kiyoshi can learn of the alliance or truce to bring back Ame and join in the glorious fight while still maintaining my goal of carrying on flashbacks with anyone who wants to add more depth and history to our wandering band of nomads and the visions of home we all share!

^^^^^^^^^^Excited to see this, a great idea and something that helps further cement plot throughout Ame. I'm definitely down with my Tenzo, and I REALLLLLLY like the idea of having a sort of "clan elder" whose an integral part of BOTH Clan's history. This is a very very cool idea, and I hope to see the rest of you implementing/using this as a plot device to further your own stories.

In other news; the events (a series of 3) will be up in the staff section relatively soon (over the next week or so) for those of you who can SEE the staff section; for the rest of you, barring it getting shot down with a flame-thrower (which the Rain can always put out), it'll be up on the site itself a little bit after that. There's also going to be some Tenzo/Kekkai - Only Mini-Event type thingies i'll be cooking up just to make sure the families have something to do while they wait for the BIG EVENTS.

With That Guy as inspiration, I was also thinking of holding a Flashback Event?!?!?!? What do you guys think of that? It would be NDE (Naturally) but could still be a fun way to RP without worrying about being sniped by some crazy fool, and allow us to just kinda get into the whole story a bit more.

Bravo! Bravo! I'm excited to hear this as well, and with that, I'd personally like enjoy a good flashback with Kiyoshi as a more mentor figure to Masuyo considering he'd probably be age 8 and down in a flashback where Amegakure isn't destroyed. Set it up, I'd totally be down, I'd love to see Masuyo's young, goofy, and naive self interact with the more serious Tenzo.

After talking with Naitome, I'd actually like a rivalry kind of fight (something similar to Naruto vs Sasuke in the final valley) but with whom is still up in the air, if anyone that would be like 7-10 (or older) in the flashback, I'd be willing to go make some juicy plot!

EDIT: As for the flashback events, perhaps tensions between Kekkai and Tenzo had begun to reach its peak, however, with an impending attack threatening to invade, they'd have to momentarily work together to stop the enemies, similar to how they'd restore Ame. It'd be nice as a recurring them, while they aren't always on good terms, when crunch times comes, they will back each other up instead of fighting each other plus a mutual enemy.

To both of you I do apologize that at the moment I'm in three threads total but rest assured two of them are nearly over and the third is more of a social thing. However I didn't wanna leave you hanging so to save us time I'm writing and general overview of what I'm thinking we could possibly do with the flashbacks you requested. Naitome while you didn't tell me that you wanted a specific theme or plot type between our two characters I'm going to go ahead pitch a sample to you based on what I've seen of Goryo. If you both sign off on these or leave me comments on what you think you should be different in our general overview for each flashback then I'll be able to adjust and finalize the first post for both threads.

Kiyoshi Tenzo returns from a dangerous mission that was a success only in objective terms. Having been the only survivor of his squad and finished the mission alone thanks to the sacrifice of his team mates Kiyoshi was allowed a leave of absence before his new team assignment was received. To Kiyoshi's astonishment he finds that not only has he been assigned a new team, but the village has also decided in light of his recent 'success' in the face of overwhelming odds he is ready for the Jounin promotion. His first assignment? Why, training the next generation of course! Kiyoshi finds himself in charge of a team of newly graduated academy students including one that sparks curiosity and interest from Kiyoshi. Goryo Tenzo.

Ignorant of impending doom at their doorstep the village of Amegakure looks forward to the future with naive optimism! Among the things the village looks forward to and watches with eager eyes is the developing young shinobi Masuyo Kekkai; a rising star among the youngest of ninja in the village. Not only has Masuyo proven himself as a young ninja full of potential he's proven himself an even greater asset to the village by just becoming a chunnin at the age of seven! Looking to the future of this prized pupil, radical orders from the top of ANBU command have been passed on to ANBU agent Kiyoshi Tenzo to mentor this Kekkai. Kiyoshi stows his mask and armor away, taking time from the hazardous missions to evaluate the boy, determine his worth, and mentor him as an instructor to cultivate his rapid growth. Kiyoshi immediately sees great potential in the boy and finds himself torn. On the one hand the boy has immense potential to be an outstanding ninja and change Amegakure for the better, on the other hand he is a kekkai and so Kiyoshi must decide if his training this young shinobi will come back to haunt him one day. For better or for worse, Kiyoshi must train the boy and help him achieve his potential!

Goryo's story is open ended to a point and if anyone is around his age (mid twenties i believe) you too can of course join the flashback and be part of Kiyoshi's first squad. Aside from that it is highly important to note that while my threads are indeed full and these two have priority currently (First come first serve) you may 'que' up and request flashbacks. I intend to do more than one thread per flashback story line but I'll be doing them in sections and chapters, so I may want to take a break from mentoring Masuyo 8 years ago or writing the tale of my first ninja squad 19 years ago. Amegakure gates have been opened and established and with it an event to revive Amegakure itself! Sign ups are being held so if you plan on participating look over the thread and get ready!

Alrighty. Instead of having the typical sign up thread, i'm going to break things down a bit here.

This is, essentially, a "mini-event"; it's not site-wide as it specifically deals with the Kekkai/Tenzo, those who are Amegakure affiliated, and the official opening of Amegakure No Sato. The sooner you thread with either Masuyo Kekkai or Goryo Tenzo, the sooner you will be informed IC of the re-emergence of the Amegakure Gate Structure, and what your respective Clan Heads plan to do about it. That is when you will be lead here, the Solid Rain Gate. That's about all the advanced information I can give you; you're going to have to trust in your ability to RP to get you through the things that come.

I will be GM'ing this mini-event, and as such, Goryo Tenzo will not be participating in it. Consider him as...off drinking coffee or at a strip club or something. Whichever is coolest. But, let me make something very clear...

...you will WORK for Amegakure. I'm not going to take it easy on you due to some perceived vested interest in getting Rain back opened. I will kill each and every one of you if you're being stupid, and there is a HIGH probability that i'll be even HARDER on you, simply because i'm involved in the plot.

BUT.

If you survive....holy shit son. Free drunk white girls for everyone. Oh, and you get an ENTIRE VILLAGE and that pesky scratch mark removed from your headband.

In short; don't be lazy with RP. I'm not going to arbitrarily off you because you're not the best at fighting or something stupid like that. I just want to see your effort. Gene has put ALOT of work into Ame, ever since he first made his character, and it will be FRIGGING SWEET if we can pull off a plot-line this expansive. The Kekkai Clan, without even having a special ability, have more members than EVERY OTHER clan and KG. Brush off the haters and let's RP.
