A few among many comparative phrases that described the amount of focus that Mu-Hyul applied to his mind as a meager spectator. Goryo, the obvious elder of the two, stood as a man among men, a god among mere mortals, the very man-god that Mu-Hyul one day wished to surpass and believed he could do so. Huffing a sigh, he watched as Goryo's and Kureno's match had begun, and, to no surprise, Goryo immediately imposed his will upon Kureno and took control of the fight in an instant. Kneeled with both hands in his lap, the fingers curled and with it, grabbed small fabrics of his pants. The sudden curl of his fingers had been nothing more than a sign of how hard Mu had to restrain himself from wanting to launch himself into the fray.

"I don't know why you waste your time with him! I should be the one worthy to fight you, Goryo."

Overly anxious to have his chance to seize and gain Goryo's utmost respect and loyalty, Mu naively thought and that Kureno had no business, no business at all in trying to prove his worth to Goryo.

As quickly as they came, his childish visions became a mere afterthought as he continued to watch the battle unfold. Relaxed, yet, filled to the brim with excitement.

I would like to point out before you read that no where in your post could you have possible prepared the poison immune technique [which i know you'll try and pull] because you were so determined to capture me and that it'd work.

Some god, somewhere, in some universe must have witnessed Mu-Hyul's misfortune and decided to turn the tide of the battle with their almighty, merciful hand. While still paralzyed, Mu still saw the woman bolt forward at top speed, still breathing, she had to be. Just as he'd been paralyzed, the mist hadn't just magically vanished, it couldn't. It was still there, lingering and still quite deadly. Nevertheless, as she took that step forward whilst breathing, she would've found herself paralyzed as well!

Luckily, by this time, Mu had begun to gain control of his body once more, to which, he made an explicit mental note, not to breathe, not yet. Additional, she'd still been in range of the exploding tags, which only amplified his level of conviction in an almighty being. Nervelessly, his right hand formed the single seal that had been used to originally ignite his tags which severely pelted the woman, leaving not so friendly burns upon her back. In that decisive moment, still holding his breath, Mu-Hyul bolted forward with unprecedented grace, speeding 15 meters ahead [roughly 2.5 seconds of running w/ tai prime boost] out of the mist.

Coming to a sliding halt, he breathed, knowing it'd have been absolutely safe. Now, by now the mist began to slowly dissipate from the frequent winds that passed through the forest revealing a paralyzed, and burnt woman.

"The gods can me merciful after all."

To my knowledge dosu Kiri is just a mist or a non-flammable [carrying flammable properties isn't in its description or any naruto wiki or information page] gas which only means an explosion wouldn't ignite it but push it away.

After the needed handseals, the medic inhales briefly before expelling poision gas from their mouth at high speeds.

It'd been during that frame of time, during the woman's inhalation that his arm casts away the twin pair of modified kunai. Launched with uncontested precision, the two hadn't even been aimed at the woman but her flanks instead as they cut down the short distance between them within a second. Considering that his side roll ended in a low crouch, the Kunai soared low to the ground and past the woman, losing steam soon after as they landed two meters from her south-east & western flank [behind her]. Purple and gaseous by design, the fog continued to be discharged towards Mu-Hyul himself which, obviously, only meant that the anything behind the woman had been free of the mist' influence. By now, the fog [or mist] had been only a handful of meters away which drove Mu into his following action. Mu's own large inhalation occurred in tandem with a the single seal that ignited the two kunai's behind the woman.

Assuming that his plans fell through successfully, the woman would have had to move and -quite possible- prematurely end her technique, that is, if she wanted to escape despite the possibility being unlikely. Considering that her technique remained active up until the tag's detonation , it'd been almost safe to say that preparing, molding, and releasing a technique in the spur of the moment wouldn't have happened. Factoring in that everything happened over only a handful of seconds, the mist would've stopped just at his location [give or take a couple meters behind him]. Needless to say, a second backwards leap carried him 5 meters back out of the poison mist' range, where he finally exhaled from holding his breath.
