The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
We begin the battle 20 meters apart, in the center of the arena

Hiromasa stood with his right shoulder angled towards his foe, feet shoulder width apart, his weight balanced and muscles coiled and ready to erupt into action. He gripped a kunai in his foremost hand, the blade pointing downward in a reverse pommel grip. He held it just beneath his eyes, pin-pointing precisely the very spot he would throw it to - between his opponent's eyes. His left hand was curled into a loose fist and held level with his chest, elbow forming a near perfect ninety degree angle. His kunai pouch was conveniently placed at his forward right hip, housing both kunai and explosive notes alike. His ninjato was strapped to his back, its azure blade hidden in its sheathe. Already he had begun to channel chakra, summoning it to his left hand. With a yell, the judge gave the sign to begin battle...

Kaname looked on twenty meters before his opponent, his opponent had already begun getting ready for the battle. Kunai ready to strike and Kaname, knew he'd move the moment the judge would announce the beginning of this battle. Knees lightly bent, ready to move at a moments notice. Both arms gripped the sheath of his Claymore, the blade perpendicular to his own body. He was already on tiptoes to easy his movement the moment this (battle) started. His eyes were defying that of his opponents. It was a battle of villages, a battle between Mizukage and Hokage. A battle to see who was truly the stronger leader. The voice finally rang out, beginning the epic battle.
Inexplicably, Kaname held his sheathe with both hands, instead of having a hand on the handle of his sword - no matter. As the judge roared the start of the match, Hiromasa flickered forward ten whole meters, launching his kunai at Kaname as soon as the rapid burst of speed came to a halt. Immediately, he reached his left hand back to his sword, Suijin, curling his palm almost lovingly around the pommel. He used his eyes to keep track of his foe, throwing mercy to the wayside. Highspeed movement would take him to Kaname's blindside as his eyes tracked him, the last flicker leaving behind an afterimage to hold his eyes and give time for the blow, and by simply unsheathing his blade, he would send a carving scythe of highly pressurized Suiton chakra into and through his back, ripping him asunder.
Shunshin - two definitely, and maybe three or four, depending on how far away you move. This -
Shunshin-Sousuru (Flickering Image) Rank: B Type: Supplementary / Ninjutsu Range: Shunshin/Self Special: One image may be produced per Shunshin, plus one more each time this jutsu is retrained. Description: Nearing their Shunshin mastery, the user has nearly mastered all the aspects behind the high-speed movement. Not only can they now move about freely at such impressive speeds with little restrictions, but they are now able to move so fast that copies of themselves are left behind, perfectly resembling their master for a brief moment in order to provide confusion for the enemy. Only chakra sensing methods will be able to discern the faux presentation, but everything moves so fast the opponent is often left without time to react, turning them quickly into a victim. Domain: Shunshin.
to hold your gaze, and this,
Shunshin-Kawasu (Shimmering Flicker) Rank: B Type: Passive / Ninjutsu Range: Shunshin Special: Gives the user the option to side-step, curve, shimmy or even shimmer on a whim during a Shunshin, rather than remaining moving forward. Sidestep distance takes away from the Shunshin's total traveling distance. Description: Although Shunshin is normally executed in a linear fashion, with enough training, the ninja can learn to limit their forward travel speed in exchange for a near-instantaneous sideways move. Useful when evading tricky attacks, or when wishing to confuse opponents. Domain: Shunshin.
to get behind you - ^^note that these can be used simultaneously^^, and finally,
Kiritemizu Rank: BA Type: Offensive Nintaijutsu Range: 0 - 30 meters Special: Creates five meter wide cutting arcs of water that travel twice the speed of a kunai for 15 meters capable of cutting through B rank barriers and defenses. A rank training doubles speed and increases the range to 30 meters and the width to 10 meters. Description: The wielder imbues the sword with Suiton chakra which pressurizes inside the blade, giving it an intense azure glow. When the wielder attack's with the sword, a five meter wide arc of slicing water explodes from the blade, potentially capable of cutting down almost anything in its path, be it rock or flesh. Domain: Suiton. Suijin

Kaname had no intention on lying still and decided to take the offense to his opponent, quickly stepping to the side and being on his tip toes had made it much easier to do so. And just about the same time his opponent had moved, so did he, body flickering forward, three times to be exact. This had turned the distance between both his opponent and him to thirty meters considering they had practically switched places. He jumped back seeing the large arc of water that had appeared, almost reaching him despite the large distance between the two shinobi's!
With a single hand seal another being would appear, mirroring Kaname completely. This perfect image charged towards the opponent while doing a string of hand seals, by the end of this string of hand seals, he would jump high into the air, a bolt... the god's bolt himself would appear in his palms before being thrust forward towards his opponents chest. During this time, the original would hop backwards five meters doing another handseal, this time, a liquid clone would appear by him. His guardian of sorts.
Matoudai Zeusu (Strike of Zeus) X3 (20 Meters) Rank:C Type:Offensive / Raiton Ninjutsu Range:0 - 10 meters Special:The bolt is about as long as a regular katana, and glows an intense deep blue. If the javelin pierces the victim, they will feel additionally ‘burn/shock’ damage because the bolt acts as concentrated beacon of lightning. Each time retrained, the user adds 5 extra meters to their range. Description:Named after the fabled imaginary leader of the sky and thunder, this technique allows the user to feel like Zeus himself as they summon a tight bolt of electricity in their hand, similar to a javelin, so that they could throw it with appeasing accuracy. The bolt will move through the sky faster than most projectiles, and carries deadly accuracy in the right hands. Upon making contact with the target, it immediately bursts into a vertical cylinder storm that surrounds the victim and delivers a plethora of constant shock damage. Domain:Raiton.
Denkou Bunshin no Jutsu (Shocking Clone Technique)[1X] Rank:C Type:Offensive / Raiton Ninjutsu Range:See special! Special:Clone speed matches that of the user, and can go anywhere the user can. Up to one clone can be made at a time, plus one more each time retrained. Explosion range covers 5 meters. Description:With this technique, the Raiton user is able to call upon aid from a perfect copy of themselves. Comprised purely of lightning, this clone retains the user movement speed and can share linked mental judgement. Best of all, due to its flowing essence, many solid attacks pass through the clone, shocking instead whatever was used to strike them. Finally, when defeated, the clone explodes into a storm of lightning that aims to take over the nearest opponent available, taking over their body whole as it is shocked. Domain:Raiton.
Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Techqniue) Rank: C Type: Supplementary / Suiton Ninjutsu Range: Self Special: Glue freezes opponent in place for 1/2 a turn, plus 1/2 more each time retrained. Victims can only break free by providing a chakra burst equal to double that of the syrup cost, including retraining for extra turns. If the user does not coat their feet in special chakra, they can be stuck by this as well. Description: With this technique, the Suiton user is able to call upon aid from a perfect copy of themselves. Comprised purely of water, this clone retains the user movement speed and can share linked mental judgement. Best of all, physical strikes fixed on a point within their body will force it to break up into a puddle and join the mass below, able to avoid danger and regenerate anywhere the water exists. finally, when defeated, the clone explodes into a blob of water that aims to take over the nearest opponent available. If found, the water envelops the victim whole, drowning them in the user's cursed water and setting up more attacks of the same nature. Domain: Suiton.
Kaname sidestepped to avoid the kunai, and flickered forward, leaving him almost even with Hiromasa. The Chuunin hadn't expected such a maneuver, but it mattered little, for -
Immediately, he reached his left hand back to his sword, Suijin, curling his palm almost lovingly around the pommel.
It was well within his ability to turn and flicker - he had done so, to reach Kaname's blindside, made easier by the Konoha-nin's forward rush - and after doing so, well, his own shunshin barrage kept him but a step behind the nin, so that when he turned to assess the situation [for Kaname was limited during his high speed movement to strictly forward advancement, leaving him facing away from Hiromasa] he was met with the brief sight of Hiromasa's image before he died.
When you flickered forward, you left yourself even with me, and well within my visual range. After that, you only shunshin'd forward twice more - which I can see, since I've shunshin'd behind you. I follow you, leave behind an afterimage when you turn around and shunshin behind you - you try to use a jutsu and I kill you before you can even complete it. Or as you complete it - whichever your choice.
