<sub>There was a chill atmosphere about this contestant - somewhat cocky, to say the least. His lips curled upwards in a more defiant smirk, no real set 'form', which would ultimately tell those in the crowds that he wasn't a student of any sort of martial arts style. His eyes scanned the area in front of him, spotting one opponent positioned with his right side facing them. Instantly after his eyes found themselves locked on the frame of the other individual, and for a brief moment he wondered if he could possibly win this one. Let's not get too cocky, Shiro... strategy, strategy.

With the yell from the judge to start the match, Shiro merely stood there and kept both individuals in his eye sights and peripherals, making sure they didn't sleep from his sight. "So. Who's going first? I hate making the first move, man."</sub>

<sub>Death will be revoked due to Afro QQing all over the place, however I would like to explain something and make it relatively clear to the 'newer' group of people who have joined this site. Simply because something is not mentioned in a post does not make it having 'never occurred'. Honestly, the rules with 'quoting jutsu and weapons used in a post' was only made last night, and I really don't agree with it because there are some techniques that can be utilized to their higher proficiency by being more discreet about its usage. It isn't our job to spell out every. single. thing we're doing in a roleplay post. So long as we post enough to give you something to work with, it is legal. So long as there is no god modding, auto-hitting, and meta-gaming, it is legal. Unless you are trying to enforce some unwritten rule that is simply your own preference on other roleplayers, you simply have to deal with it.

The first thing that was 'questioned' by Afro was the fact I used a Bunshin without mentioning that it was a bunshin in the post. Do you understand how a bunshin works? A bunshin is meant to deceive your opponent - also used for gathering information on an opponents skill/or scouting, and that is only some of its uses. It is even within the rules of the site stating that a bunshin can go anywhere the user goes, communicate with other individuals, and the likes. Seeing as this is a lower scale version of Kage Bunshin (instead it is comprised of fire, where as Zabuza's was comprised of water), I highly doubt it that suddenly its impossible for a clone to not be able to function as it should simply because it was not 'mentioned' in the thread that it was a clone. By 'telling' you it was a clone would overall defeat the whole purpose of using a clone technique, correct? As a clone jutsu is ultimately made to confuse the opponent into not knowing which is the real shinobi, and which is a clone. You may say that I still should do it, but even if I did, that always leads to meta-gaming, and by not claiming an image to be a clone is a sure-fire way to ensure my opponent doesn't know what the hell he's fighting against at any given time. That is not cheating. That is using strategy and your brain.

Secondly, apparently it was 'cheating' to use my kunai, because apparently I never 'mentioned' they were 'equipped' in the post with explosion tags. Yes, I can argue anyone who knows me knows that all my tags are equipped with explosion tags - but you don't know me. So I do have to bring up the argument that, uhh, who exactly made you in control of my inventory and how I prepare my weapons? We can use the example from previous naruto anime fights in which the kunai was thrown at someone, and it simply appeared to be a kunai until the tags came into view (in fact, it was done in the fight between Sasuke and the Rain shinobi). In these occasions, the kunai was not prepared in the fight and then thrown. These kunai were already prepared ahead of time in their inventory to get the job done efficiently. So, yes, somehow I cheated by properly planning ahead and equipping my kunai with explosion tags (something I've always done) ahead of time, rather than doing it 'in the thread'. Not everything has to be done 'in the thread', because that is frankly stupid. You don't go into battle with no game plan. You properly plan, strategize, and then you go into battle. So yes, I'm a cheater becauseyou ignored the Kunai in the thread and weren't cautious at all, or took into the possibility (this sites battle system is based around possibilities, correct?) that the kunai could still be dangerous. Likewise, despite my chakra being cloaked and you incapable of sensing me, and me jumping to attack you in the first post (the sword slash) should have actually decapitated you. How? Because firstly, I'm on a freaking branch. I'm using the momentum of the jump to bring me over two meters to swing my sword horizontally at your neck, to decapitate you. Despite you blatantly mentioning that you would proceed to ignore me in your action to go on a speech with your ally, you somehow knew my character had moved from the branch to attack you without even looking at him - despite your prior mention of ignoring him.

And you know what? I let that slide, because I don't have to drop logic on people to beat them. No matter how much bullshit you throw at me, I'd most likely still win. So yes, I'm the cheater here, and I would like you to continue to live on with your shinobi that was brought back to life due to your inability to cope with defeat, and the fact you have absolutely no skill. You're also a meta-gamer.

<sub>The ruined building had become the 'rendezvous' point for the shinobi of Suna that had banded together. They could hear the war echoing out in the country, and the current state of Sunagakure was relatively similar to that of nomads. They needed to find a new place, a new location, to rebuild! But no, the current Kazekage was way too focused on rebuilding the rubble of the current location of the village. A large explosion was heard soon after, and the raven haired boy exhaled a sigh as his eyes closed briefly. He sat upon the wooden desk near a window, the ruined atmosphere was quite beautiful in a disturbing way.

"With Shukaku attacking, we can assume we'll suffer quite some casualties. I've no interest in taking on the bijuu when it can do the work of killing the Kazekage for me." he stated to the group that had gathered, eyes drifting to their faces.</sub>

His eyes were bright with mischief, but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Besides, it wasn't as if he was important to the world; Otogakure was quite the moronic country. Lips curled upwards in a smile as he looked back to his fantastic carnage of nature, and he waited for the arrival of his 'partner' who had came with him, though was told to not assist with the fight. Not as if the great Etsuko needed it, anyways. "Ready to head home? I didn't pick up much data, but it will suffice."}

<sub>Cute. Despite the fact apparently this kid was superior in speed to a shunshin, and had the reaction time of Godzilla (not really); it wasn't a biggie. There was simply a slight smirk on the face of the Suna shinobi - the sword meeting the gauntlet of sound as their eyes briefly met. Being mid-air, he was going to of course begin his descent, but he wasn't necessarily worried about it. The blast of sound that erupted from the amplifier was a cute toy - but seeing as the Suna ninja was a shinobi, it did nothing but make him quite nauseous and disoriented a bit. Not to mention, he got a bit of a headache, sheesh!

Instead of completely falling down as he planned, the attack of the amplifier caused his feet to strike out towards the edge of the building as his balance struggled a bit, two kunai falling with a clank across the edge of the roof as his pouch popped open - jumping backwards from it swiftly and back to his branch, a hand grasping against it lightly. Briefly, he looked rather sick... and there was a slight glow from his body. He was on fire, man! He was burning up! This was exactly the adrenaline he needed for his flaming soul, and there was a brief moment to observe what his foe would do, being certain he wasn't pursued (which he would quickly deflect any attack) with his blade. He honestly didn't need to see or hear to fight, which was somewhat sad for his Sound foe. Hah, here he thought he was at an advantage I bet.

<sub>The moment he looked away.

Elegance called forth, and soundlessly and undetected (thanks to kagura kinzu) he moved. The arrogance of the younger shinobi had left an opening - the afro child having turned his gaze in an attempt to 'ignore' Shiro of all people. Once his head had turned to gaze behind himself, the movement would be completed. Ignorantly, the boy had also closed the distance between them by five more meters, leaving only two meters separation. As they were facing each other, it was convenient.

After his silent movement, and rather undetected one (seeing as he was ignored), he appeared a split second later mid air before the ledge, aligned with the young sound shinobi. There was a flash of silver almost instantly as he appeared, the katana slicing through the air in a simple fluid motion that would cause the center of his blade to potentially connect with the upper neck of the boy - being certain to avoid any defensive material that could possibly block the swift decapitation. His arrogance was delicious, almost as vivid as the blood that would spew from his open neck while his turned head continued to gaze at his ally. Amateur shinobi at its finest, really.

There was then that thing of gravity, but that would be fine. Instantly after the slash completed he began to descend of course - using his heels to bounce off the side of the structure and push him back to the tree as he flipped in the air with the momentum. It would allow him to silently, and gracefully, land at the side of the tree - chakra at the soles of his boots to keep him standing. he faced upwards towards the heavens, eyes watching the display that was about to unfold.
