With a crimson haze of rage Kai didn't bother looking out for so called 'civilians' they were all at fault! All of them were responsible! The eight sets of eyes saw the archers take up positions surrounding him before firing their quite literal bottle rockets at the hulking serpent. All sixteen eyes narrowed at once as heavy surge of its wings shot the rockets back at the shooters igniting a vicious ring of flame around the hydra.
Then its heads and tail would curl together before rapidly spinning outward lashing out with all nine limbs the force alone producing gale-force winds to make the ring of flame bellow outwards catching more enemies in their own attack. With a glance back to his team and finding Yukiko and her clones taking Sozin into the Forrest, it was his all-clear signal to decimate the remaining foes.
The mouths would lash out bisecting enemies leaving their bodies from the waist down standing and squirting blood before falling to the ground while some had the more gruesome fate of being hit with the spine-covered tail which continued to hip around throwing those caught on its tail high into the air before they fell to their doom while others were just stuck there slowly bleeding out as their bodies suffered the G-force and brutal damage of being swung around on the giant whip of a tail. This was his revenge, his redemption, he couldn't protect his commander and now all who were related to the incident would pay, and pay horribly.
