RANK: C
CATEGORY: Flashback mission. [First shinobi war]
DESCRIPTION: Given the current unstable nature of the shinobi world and the threats have been made to Kusagakure from other villages, security has become a priority in the eyes of the people. Whilst the kusakage figured it best to not delve in to such matters and stay within their own personal bubble inside Kusagakure, villages have created a system where each day, several shinobi go out and search the small country for any sign of impending danger. People say it won't be long until the attacks begin, so it's best to try and spot any problems and nip them in the bud before they become uncontrollable!
OBJECTIVE: Roam the land of Kusa no kuni in search of any foreign shinobi or shady behaviour that could pose threat to the village!
PAY: 1,000 Ryo and 200 EXP.[/ul]
Grey haze wafted into the air. Mouth agape, tobacco smoke escaped from a young man’s lungs without hindrance. ‘God, this is a pain in the ass.’ An adolescent Kobayashi trekked through Kusa’s domain, clad in his shinobi gear. Having passed a small village short twenty minutes ago, the images rang fresh in his mind. Kissed by the war, the village was not in the best state. The people were down and depressed, swathed in raggedy clothes. Their houses were battered and falling apart. The adults lifelessly ambled down the street as though they were the undead. It was heartbreaking to see a village in Kusa no Kuni in such poor state. However, this wasn’t the only one. Many villages throughout the noble nation were in bad shape. War was never pretty, but for a small country wedged between two powerhouses, it was especially devastating.
Still, Kobayashi had a job to do, so he had to stay focused. Eyes peeled, the young adolescent surveyed the area, keeping watch for any invaders and foreign spies. With stealth, he zipped through the trees of the dense forest, being sure to make as little sound as possible. His cigarette was crushed in his hand and dropped on the floor as he continued to patrol Kusa’s borders. Would today be pleasantly uneventful or would the plague of war afflict him?
