Kaoru stopped her movement forwards as the man spoke again, answering her question. He was indeed from Mizu no Huni, but Kaoru couldn't be sure if it had been someone from Mizu no Huni who had killed her family or someone outside. She looked at the man's symbol on his chest again, trying to recall the memories that had become far too distant. They hadn't even been all that clear but when she had seen the symbol upon walking here it had called forth something inside of her. Something deep down that she had locked away years ago. And here she was blinded by anger again because she still felt she wanted revenge. But, what good would it do her if she killed every ninja who had had some hand in killing her parents. She lowered her head for a moment as she stood there, listening to the man's offer to use shinai as her younger sister and the trainee were.

With her head still lowered she began to speak, "..My actions have been somewhat brash," she said to him, though her voice still held some resentment. However, she seemed to be returning to herself. "However, are you the only one that wears that symbol..?" she asked him. She couldn't be sure if he was indeed the man, if he had any hand in killing her parents. Though, his words about helping others in protecting what was precious to them irked her some that she felt like spitting in the man's face. But, for now she would hold her cool.

She retracted the chakra she had been sending into her weapon and then sheathed it. As much as she wanted to spill his blood, someone's blood. She would play his 'game' if it meant she might get some answers. Some clues. However, there were still ways to spill blood with a Shinai. If you hit someone hard enough you could make them cough up blood. She seemed to remain calm as she stood there, "If it is the only way you will fight me, unless you want to step outside..." she inclined towards the way they had come in. She wondered if she should use some of her jutsus, as a samurai he was probably limited in that area. However, she felt the need to just use her swordsmanship against him.

"Would you wager your sword?" she asked him. She was in need of a sword herself, living with her little group she didn't often have money to buy herself weapons and at the time a tanto was the only thing she could afford. A new sword would be handy. "If I beat you... " however, she didn't have much to give him if he won. But she was hoping on winning.

As they were lead into the dojo, the older sister of the two girls seemed to walk calmly as she followed along her sister. She could hear the sounds of trainee's practicing, though she seemed to block out most sounds as they were led through the dojo. She didn't even happen to notice the smirk upon their guide's face as he led them to his master. When he did, Kaoru stopped a few feet short from behind where there guide had stopped and a foot or so to the side and behind her younger sister.

Her blue eyes looked up at the behemoth of a man that stood before the two girls and their guide. He had spoken to them as soon as they entered the room, asking what they had come here for. Whether it was to learn the man's way of the sword or to try and beat him. Ka-chan's eyes searched the man, looking at the clothes he wore, at his sword. Though, her eyes moved little to none. She had learned to survey an area without hardly moving her eyes or her head to look around. And, sometimes even if it may seem that she has her head down she may actually be surveying the area.

She looked at the man's clothing, on the front left side of his kimono was the same symbol on the statue she had seen earlier when walking along the path to the dojo. There was also a symbol on his right arm tied there. It looked sort of like the Mist symbol, though Kaoru could not recall the true symbol of the Mist (even though she had been of their brethren). Kaoru did not meet the man's eyes and seemed to pay little attention to her sister's question. Shizuka's older sister uttered a sneerful laugh between her lips. "Hah...." Her left hand that was limply resting against her side, balled into a fist as her right one moved behind her, withdrawing one of her tantos that seemed to be no match for the 'sensei's sword. Kaoru-chan would seem to stand behind her younger sister one instant and the next she would reappear in front of the master of the dojo, her tanto ready as she attempted to try and get the blade of her tanto against the man's neck. "..the symbol on your chest, what is it?" she whispered so that Shizuka couldn't hear it.

Ei-chan's answer to his older sister's question sent a lopsided grin upon her face. Her brother was pretty cocky so it was just about the right kind of answer that Kaoru was expecting from him. She continued to walk along Mura-chan's side as the now five of them would walk through the land towards the capital of the earth country. Kaoru stopped as her younger sister looked around the area and happened to spot a samurai lurking, who was probably most likely wanting to keep the peace around the place. Though, the group wasn't much of one to start up something, they occassionally got into trouble especially with her brash brother, Eichiro.

Ka-chan also happened to spot the samurai some time after her younger sister did. She was sort of their folk, simply because she had been taught by a wise samurai that short time that she was away from the orphanage. So, she could probably handle them as well though Mura-chan was probably just as capable, maybe even more so since he seemed to fit the part more so. Though, Kaoru's white attire did often times give her a heavenly or peaceful aura to her persona. They could probably both go and handle the samurai, however Kaoru stood there. Her arms limp against her sides as she looked out into the horizon.

"Go on little brother.." was all their older sister had to say to her younger brother who happened to be a samurai. She wanted to see what he could do, though she was fully aware of what he was capable of. It was just a sort of test, perhaps. He'd been taught by a samurai, well from what Kaoru was aware of but it had probably been a different samurai than her sensei. So, the two of them Kaoru and Mura probably had different but some same views that they had been taught.

Violet eyes stared at the two boys as they headed off on their, for a brief moment Kaoru's eyes bore into their backs. She shook her head lightly as she knew trouble would arise; probably a mess that the two girls would have to clean up. The boys would have to eventually learn to clean up their own messes. However, Kaoru-sama had faith in her younger brothers that they could stand up to anything they faced, even though they might take the beating for it. She would let them go off on their own and play. However, not unlike her two brothers Kaoru-dono also sought power, though she didn't always put it outright that she hungered for it.

For a brief moment, the wind seemed to accumulate around Kaoru and then blew past her. The morsels of wind combing her long hair. She simply let out a soft sigh and followed after her younger sister. Just don't get too beat up.. she thought as she took one last look in the direction the boys went. Not that she was all that worried about them, they could take care of themselves. It was just their ego and pride and what not that always seemed to get them in trouble. They were so high spirited.

Kaoru followed alongside Shizu-chan as they followed the young boy that they had caught earlier. He still seemed to be wary about Kaoru; maybe she shouldn't have teased him. Though, she didn't really care what others thought of her, well besides her family. "I guess we'll just see how strong your master is..When put up against those two," she plainly stated as they came to a limestone walkway. Even though it seemed they had taken a 'safer' route to the dojo, the younger sibling was still on her guard. As she walked, her hands were folded behind her back, which seemed to be in contradiction to the fact that she was actually on guard. It was hard to tell with Kaoru.

As they came towards the path to the dojo, and Kaoru could hear sounds coming from it and glimpses of it..she saw a stone object with a symbol on it, a crest. Even though she had looked at it briefly as she passed, thoughts went through her mind. Memories flooded in. She remembered the crest. Through this her posture remained calm as she followed the two.. however, her fist clenched shut and she bowed her head. Thoughts of revenge reigned through her mind. Her eyes glistened with hatred.. Was this the person who had killed her family? The master of this dojo?

Kaoru walked alongside the samurai in their group, plainly looking ahead. Her posture was strong but not overwhelming. Her hands her folded behind her, almost formally. Her eyes care-freely looked ahead, not at all seeming alarmed but she seemed pretty easy granted that they were walking into unknown territory. She wasn't afraid at all,she was with family and had great faith in their abilities as well as her own (even if she was at a disadvantage in this dry land, she would compensate somehow). She looked up at the sky, raising her hand to her forehead to block the sun from her view. In the sky she saw a bird fly over their heads, some distance high. It was practically almost a dot in the sky.

Walking she knew that their "leader", even though she was the oldest, knew where he was going even if he seemed to make no attempt to look at the map he carried. Perhaps he had already looked at it? She shrugged off the thought and let a smile grace her features. Did it really matter where they were going? She supposed not. As long as they were going somewhere and were free. Ka-chan felt relaxed; that she went to the extent of relaxing her arms behind her head, staring at the sky. She closed her eyes briefly then looked over at Mura-chan."Ya know, I didn't mean anything personal by shruggin' you off like that Mur-chan," she smiled over at her younger brother. She just didn't like the idea of being hit on, even if her brother didn't really intent it that way. She supposed she just wasn't used to others hanging over her, touching her. She could be a bit touchy, even if she didn't really show it. Suppose it was because of her sketchy past and being isolated like she had been.

Mura-chan and Kaoru trailed a few feet behind Shizu and Eichiro, a sort of formation you could say. If one of the two groups got attacked the others would have enough time to react, granted they weren't ambushed. Kaoru looked away from the younger ronin and continued to casually look ahead.
