The shinai that Kaoru grasped hit the Master Itagaki in the shoulder, but her shinai was soon grasped before she could draw back and strike at him again. His tone then seemed to change dramatically. He had become all too curious about Kaoru's questions about his past. He pulled at her shinai in an attempt to draw her closer to him, however Kaoru's footing remained pertinent. He said his group's name, however it did not recall anything from Kaoru. Firmly because she had probably never known or heard the group's name before. He also recalled that he had encountered an Akakatsu before. That seemed to confirm most of Kaoru's suspicions. He had had some act in her parents murder. Her lips furrowed as she looked the man in the eye, as they remained in close quarters. She could hear whispers from around them coming from the trainees who watched their fight.
"I no longer am, so I simply never was.." she whispered to him quite plainly. Her blue eyes resembling orbs of blue crystal, narrowing a bit as the intensity inside of her grew. She stared into his eyes, trying to recall the face. The eyes of her parent's killers. She chose to tell others that she was never from Mist, however the memories would tell her otherwise. Momentarily she had forgotten about the others around, especially her younger sister Shizuka who was looking onto the fight.
Still looking the sensei in the eyes she would remove one of her hands from the hilt of her shinai and grasp the other end of the shinai. She sent most, if not all of her weight into the blade. Her feet planted on the ground to help push Master Itagaki backwards. She was hoping to catch him off balance so that he would let go of her shinai. Once, she happened to get her wooden blade away from him she would step backwards two feet. Her eyes drawing down to the floor beneath them. A sensation burning inside of her. She then looked up, something had changed in the look of her eyes.
She then quickly stepped forward, grasping onto the hilt of her shinai with both hands. Pulled it to the right side of her body, as she drew closer to the sensei she would pull up towards him in an upward-side slash movement. Then, she would step to the left some and would follow her first attack with a second strike, quickly lowering the shinai some and then striking to the right whole moving the shinai upwards. Lastly, she would raise her shinai upwards, a bit over her head and strike down at him. Jumping some as to gather momentum on the attack. Her attacks were quick. Would master Itagaki be able to dodge all of them?
