The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
As some of you may have noticed the chatbox is down and, as a result, we cannot communicate instantly until it returns. Therefore, this topic is to continue or start conversations relating to the board or Naruto in general. This topic is especially geared towards newer players who are seeking information about the board.
To be frank, I would like an authentic experience of life in the Naruto universe. Many Naruto boards feel deliberately manufactured to surround spending your day training and eventually waiting for some conflict. There is a lack of politics, build-up to what happens or even internal affairs that force Kage to address the many issues in their Villages. There is also a lack of heritage and history in many of these boards. What NRP needs to bring is an authentic experience of Naruto, an authentic experience of the Naruto world so WE, the players, can actually indulge in our need to escape and write.
I feel that you have already started to achieve that by showing the history of Kirigakure’s Kages, as well as listing descriptions about the gate and so forth. And even beyond that, the history of the Villages are so interesting that the grounds for more history to be created through roleplay is set. Things like this are needed to reinforce the authenticity of life in a Naruto-themed world. So I can only say do more of that as it inspires players like myself to look into the history and develop it. As far as the systems go I trust you to create something rounded, as I am not too knowledgeable on how they work. But, as a whole, I look forward to an authentic and mature Naruto experience that we can all get stuck into.
