It was an interesting view, to see that the earth had been harmed to such an extent. The gap was rather large and the fall looked potentially life threatening. His eyes scanned the area, looking for an alternative route. Dark blue orbs found only a cave, hidden away by the constructs of war and mother nature. He gave thought to the situation, wondering if the shinobi of Iwa could use such a cave to venture to and from their home. It wasn't completely outrageous of an idea for shinobi. However the path didn't appear as if it were faked. And to create such a delusion each and every time one would enter and exit seemed low in chance as well. That left the cliff with the unknown substance on the other side. How dangerous could the growth from earth be? Maybe it wasn't something earth at all.
The shinobi folded his arms at his chest, stopping a few meters away from the cliff. It seemed like the best route to go, but the jump could cost him a serious injury, or something he wouldn't return from. A cliff wouldn't cease his advancement however. His arms dropped to his side. He wouldn't recklessly attempt the jump. Instead, he formulated a new plan. Swift hands pushed through the winds, as seals were formed. Upon the last seal being held, a clone, created from the depths of flame, would emerge, taking his very image, posture, body, everything. A blazing replica, unknown to the human eye. His clone could move as he did. He figured a test of safety wouldn't kill him.
No words were exchanged. The deal was made, and the clone began a swift run, after moving back five meters. Using the full ten meters to run he catapulted himself to the other side. Reiten awaited the fate of his creation.
