A quick, unfamiliar voice cut through the conversation without warn, her presence not made known until them. Her sarcastic inquiring about what the samurai knew was obviously a rhetorical question - or so Jubei thought. Quickly the girl came into plain view as she slipped near her ally, and taking ample time to glance over her features, Jubei effortlessly deduced that this girl was younger than himself, yet, the stench of blood fervently spilled from her clothing. If there was anything anyone knew about war, it was that it didn't play favorites when it came down to age."As long as ninja freely rule this world, war will always exist. Bakudon Gai was nothing - civilian casualties were low, but every conflict will have them. Comb the streets for corpses and you'll find ninja after ninja, not children or elderly."
He couldn't help but to listen to each and every word that spilled seamlessly from the girls mouth as her eyes began to swell with tears. Jubei wanted to pity her, he truly did, but knowing full well that this girl had played her part and potentially fulfilled her role within this act of violence, he couldn't. But this little 'touching' moment came to a abrupt halt as virulent tremors coursed through the earth beneath Jubei's very feet. The cries of a majestic rage cut through the air as it rocked Jubei's ears, causing him to instinctively turn his head towards the direction of its source, and what he saw was nothing more than raw power storming through the city.("What in the world? That must be Kouketsu, to think that bastard himself might actually be here.")
And just then, in that decisive moment of time, a plan masterfully unfolded itself before the framework to Jubei's mind. Quickly -with flare- Jubei's attention momentarily shifted back toward the watery eyed girl, and from there would phase one be set in motion."You! Girl! Take me to Kouketsu, I have a proposition of power that he couldn't possibly refuse."
