Being that the books were as heavy as they were, Hirihi found taht making piles was a bit more difficult than she had originally believed. This particular task was going to take her a lot more time than she had anticipated. Starting first with the box for all books labeled for shelf one, Hirihi began to sort them alphabetically by author's last name. This was just to see if she could actually please the old woman. The numbering would prove to make this task much simpler, just because the peoplew ho had sent the books had known that was how the older woman would likely want it done
The same as before, Ms. Shikula would come to check on her occasionally, this time giving more than an hour's time between the checks. She seemed to be falling asleep at her desk as Hirihi worked, not even bothering to help her set the items on the shelves. Hirihi wasn't offended by this. She preferred the woman not come to her aid at that particular point. She was a rude woman, and it was all that she could do not to curse at the woman for her rude behavior. Once the task was done, Hirihi stepped back to examine her work. Making sure to verify that the books were all in order, she began to break down the cardboard boxes and stack them in a neat pile by the shelves.
Walking up to the desk where Ms. Shikula was copying the new set of books and scrolls into their current card catalog system, Hirihi procured the sheet for the books and didn't say anything as she waited for a response. "Books all put away?" Ms. Shikula asked. Hirihi would not her head in response to the woman's question. "Do you want me to put the cardboard boxes anywhere, or do you want me to set them aside for recycling to pick up?" Hirihi asked, Ms. Shikula shrugging her shoulders at her. "I dun care." Ms. Shikula said, walking around the desk and moving to look over the bookshelves one more time.
Hirihi would wait patiently for the woman to return. If she truly had nothing left to do, she was going to bolt as fast as she could. THe longer she stayed around the withered old hag, the more she wanted to stab her with the kunai that she had in her bag. This was not the nicest of things to do, but it was definitely something that she had considered. This was likely against her code as a medic, but sometimes rules and regulations had to be bent to teach people a lesson sometimes, right? "You're done, go home." The woman shouted from the back of the library. You didn't have to tell Hirihi twice, she was out the door faster than anyone could see with a quick flicker of her body from one place to the next.
I'm never getting old...
