As her eyes gazed around at the various pieces of metalwork on the table; A wire rack that held two neat, red serviettes, she would then move her eyes to look at the area around her- Although she had expected that the food sold within the HQ would be fairly cheap due to the fact that youngsters usually participated in the exams, and the majority of which probably were on some kind of budget, this place was unusually opulent for such a place. But, not to say that it wasn’t nice. Paintings of farmland hanging from the walls, she would but look at them in slight wonder, the landscapes she now viewed being something that she hadn’t seen before in reality. Living on a mountain which bore little to no plant life or bovine life at that, fields and cows weren’t exactly a day-to-day thing for her to see.
Her crimson eyes would keep looking at the paintings themselves, pupils darting from one picture to the other, before her vision was soon shrouded by some unseen assailant, the scent of some kind of flower gently wafting to her nose; ”..Kaeor?” she would ask whilst intaking a breath, as she’d sit there blindly, warm skin pressed against her eyes, her vision would soon be returned as the colours of the restaurant came back to her vision- and the voice of a very familiar blonde ninja came to her ears- The same one she had been anticipating to arrive-narutoKaeor making his presence known, she would soon be presented with a single red rose, and, despite the girl’s usual boyish demeanour, the cheeks of her face would soon find themselves tinted with a similar shade of red.”O- Of course! You’re not late, really. I hadn’t been waiting long so you’re off the hook for now.” although with a slight stutter at first, she would soon return to her usual manner of speaking, as a grin would be flashed to the blonde.
And then, her fingers gently holding the rose that he had given her, she would slowly raise it to her nose and intake the scent that it bore, before lowering it again, her fingers very gently holding the stalk of it, being sure not to cut herself on the thorns that decorated it, she would soon place it down with care near her, before her hands would then raise, as she’d remove her white gloves, revealing the skin underneath. Placing them aside, her thin hands would pick up the rose once more, her fingertips caressing the soft petals. ”Thank you- It’s beautiful.” her eyes looking up for a moment towards Kaeor as the words were spoken, she would soon then place it down again, her cloaked figure shifting forwards slightly as her chair moved closer to the table.
Kaeor then taking a seat opposite her, her blood red eyes would meet his blue as they had done countless times, she listening as he spoke of the restaurant that she had chosen to dine in. Of course- The rest had a bit.. more casual theme to them, so she figured it would be more fitting for such a dining experience to be situated in somewhere nice, like this place. ”It is- I was quite surprised when I found out that they had places like this here, although I guess that they must have diners like this to assure that the richer visitors to the HQ are content. I couldn’t imagine a kage queuing up for fast food.” she would reveal her idea, before then sparking a question of her own, that she had been looking forwards to ask him; ”How did the first round go?” this asked, she would look around again as a water would soon draw near, placing two sheets of paper- the menu- on the table. This was surely going to be quite an enjoyable evening!
