Clan
The secret clan of the Shikigami lie in their advanced ninjutsu, as well as their unique ability to combine with with traditional origami in order to created deadly, paper-based techniques. The clan began as a basic band of entertainers, using their secret techniques in order to manipulate paper origami and animate it. They would do so in towns and villages, earning what little money they could. It wasn't until the advent of the shinobi world and the thirst of the clan's new generation that their skills would be turned into deadly battle tactics.
Able to manipulate paper to their liking, to the point they can turn their entire body and clothing into thousands of sheets of paper, Shikigami members are indeed valuable assets and worthy threats in battle. To travel long distances, clan members are known to fold their small papers into butterflies or planes for powered flight, and to attack, they harden the sheets and fold them into arrows, shuriken, and other deadly projectiles.
On top of this, Shikigami members can restrain opponents by blanketing them in sheets, thus restricting their movement and asphyxiating them. Befitting and likely inspiring the clan moniker of 'Paper Angels', the papers can also form large wings for further weaponry or simply improved flight and movement. Despite being made of paper, most elemental jutsu have a hard time damaging the paper due to the special chakra that is imbued within them. The power of the paper attacks could even overpower a fire attack, though it is susceptible to oil-based attacks, which stick to clan member and can keep their paper from unfolding. It is important to note that they are not as hampered to the same extent by water.
Clan members have been shown to be able to produce and fold enough paper to mimic environmental surroundings, allowing the Shikigami and those of their choosing to hide in places one normally wouldn't be able to. In the end, the clan member's paper creations are directly dependent on their creator's chakra to maintain, and as such, serve as a reflection of their master's current strength. As such, when their chakra levels drop and dwindle, the flowers lose their form and fall apart.

Special: Highest rank known determines how much of their body can be used to produce paper for clan jutsu, how far the user's paper creations can travel away from them, how big they can be, and finally, the base strength of all paper creations. Although user is able to produce paper from their bodies, they are not yet able to transform into it and move freely in paper form. Paper under user's command moves at a default speed of 1 meter per second.

Special: Creates a wall of Paper in front of the user which protects anyone behind the wall from incoming damage. The wall's maximum length and width is equivalent to the user's maximum size control. The damage that can be blocked by this technique is equal to the user's rank of Crafting Paper Strength.
Description: After performing the required handseals, the user will extend his or her hands, causing numerous pieces of paper to form and rush outwards, filling an area in front of the user with the paper in the shape of a solid wall. The wall lasts until the user dismisses it or until it is broken by damage received.

Baku Kamishouha (Bursting Paper Collision Waves)

Chakra: High
Special: The user releases an incredible wave, equal in size to the user's maximum allowed size of paper creations, comprised of hundreds of sheets of paper towards the opponent. The wave itself is generally wider than it is taller, so that is a wide area of effect. The wave will travel up to 30 meters and will attempt to bury anyone caught within the wave under the mountains of paper. Because the paper is filled with the user's chakra, the user is capable of knowing the location of anyone who was caught within the wave, and can then proceed to follow up with other Paper Ninjutsu attacks. The wave's strength is dependent upon the user's own Crafting Paper Strength and Paper Elemental Resistance.
Description: A wave of paper that rolls across the ground, similar to a tsunami wave, and attempts to catch opponents within it.

Special: Allows the user to cause his or her paper to change in a variety of ways, including different pigments and folds, in order to create optical illusions. This ability requires a series of handseals -or- the paper must be changed to a certain color/appearance while the user is creating it.
Description: One of the Shikigami's most dangerous talents is their ability to create a battlefield in advance that directly resembles the outside world. This ability, not a Genjutsu due to the fact that the user actually changes his or her paper's shapes and colors, allows the user to facilitate the appearance of just about anything, leaving the ability to cleverly trick and attack the opponent.

Special: Must know 'S' ranked Hatoronshi no Kami (Crafting Paper Skill) in order to achieve full paper transformation. Area of paper mass/cloud is equivalent to half the user's 'Hatoronshi no Kami' range. Form can be sustained for one turn, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Although the clan's secret technique teaches each member how to 'convert' parts of their body into the special paper that fuels their unique jutsu, extended teachings allow the user to sustain their paper essence across their body, so that the properties of their clan paper are now attributed to them. From here, the user can move about to new highest uninterrupted, as the only way they can be defeated is if all forms of paper are defeated at once.

Giji Nakama no Jutsu (False Friend Technique)

Chakra Same as Pepa Bunshin.
Special: Creates a special Paper Clone of a person other than the user in order to trick and potentially attack the opponent. Clones can exist as far as the eye can see, or until the user leaves the thread, and take no additional chakra for upkeep. Clones move at speeds equal to the user's Pepa Speedo (Paper Speed), and can perform any Shikigami jutsu the user knows. Clones disperse and reform before being defeated. The number of these clones capable of being created is equal to the number of Paper Clones the user can create. Paper clones, like Kage Bunshin, share the user's chakra reserves.
Description: An offset of the Pepa Bunshin no Jutsu, this ability allows the user to create the appearance of someone other than him or herself. The created clone is usually an ally of an opponent that the user has already captured or disposed of. The point of the technique is to catch the opponent off guard, leaving them open to attack from the person they had assumed was their friend.

Hatoronshi Bakuha (Crafting Paper Explosive Addition)

Special: Adds explosive note properties to all clan jutsu. However, explosive addition can only occur prior to the paper's creation. Explosion can be triggered anytime the user wishes, and requires a simple 'Kai' seal. Highest rank known determines how strong the explosion is, and how wide its range extends. Notes cannot be sold or used by non-Shikigami.

Description: As its name implies, the clan member is able to imbue their paper creations in the same explosive properties that ignite a regular exploding note, spreading the effect over across a mass amount of paper sheets. When combined with other clan jutsu, the explosive additions result in a truly terrifying offensive combination.

Special: The rank of this technique determines how durable a paper user's defense is against elemental influences. Must learn for each release, basic or advanced. Defends against elemental attacks of highest rank known.
Description: As its name implies, the clan member is able to imbue their paper creations in the same elemental properties that other shinobi use to create offensive technique. When combined with other clan jutsu, the Shikigami's paper creation retain a unique resistance to each respectively trained element, until they are impervious even to the most extreme of conditions.

Pepa Bunshin no Jutsu (Paper Clone Technique)

Chakra: High
Special: Up to one clone can be made at a time, plus one more each time retrained. When struck physically, clone may disperse and reform easily in paper, making them defeatable only by wide, area-of-effect attacks. When defeated, it explodes in a burst of paper, spreading its essence everywhere. Explosion range covers 5 meters all around the clone. Clone can perform all known clan jutsu, and can move up to one country away from the user before dissipating.
Description: With a sufficient amount of paper, the user forms a single seal and calls them together in order to form a perfect clone of themselves. Unlike regular bunshin, the paper clone has substance, can move at improved speeds, and best of all, scatters when struck for re-use. Although the clone is not spawned with the user's inventory, they will attain whatever main weaponry the user has at the time, if any. When struck by concentrated blows from bladed/blunt weaponry or even a bare fist, the clone disperses into a tuff of paper that can either reform or be used for other clan jutsu. However, widespread, area-of-effect attacks can defeat the paper clones instantly.
