As she locked her door, Ryūsuke smiled, his hand extended so that when she reached to grab it once more, her palm would meet his. “Let’s get moving” the man exclaimed, stepping down the flight of steps and into the patch of her inviting apartment. It wouldn’t be long from that when they would exit the general vicinity and the Uchiha progressed towards the destination; having quite the arm candy to accompany him.
Waves of prosperous blue dancing behind him, almost intermingling with the ocean of gold to his side, interacting more fluidly then the people who boasted such verdant and rich hair. Ryūsuke tugged her a little closer to him, if she didn’t oppose of course, allowing his arm to become the guard she could lean and depend upon while traveling through the gigantic village. The aftermath of such an outrageous party would be spotted only moments into the walk. Contractors and the village’s waste janitorial squad working aggressively to clean the litter that riddled the avenues and intersections. The Niidaime could only smirk, eyes sealed, as he looked on at the jovial devastation a welcome home party could conjure. Maybe he was more important then he felt?
Most greeted as the two passed; their attention fixated more so on the returning leader as opposed to his guest. Nonetheless, Ryūsuke never allowed her to feel as if she was secondary to him. Stopping sporadically, greeting the masses and conversing slightly in regards to the events of last night, the Uchiha made sure he introduced the Librarian to her community. After all, she had been around a lot more as of late then he did and with that, the men gawked while the women either basked in awe or spalt words of sheer envt—though behind her back, of course; badmouthing the woman traveling with a Hokage was all but bright. This process- this mixture of conversation and extolling would go on the entire way until the two finally came before the Hokage Residence; the symbol of fire held decidedly over their heads with its red influence shimmering in the sun’s light.
“Just behind this building, Miyako—that’s where we’ll be climbing.” Extending his finger out, past the Edifice that resided before them and towards the mountain range; yes, that mountain range. The Hokage Mountains—the single-most blessed location within the Hidden Leaf, for all the Fire Shadow’s faces were etched into its face. If Miyako knew of its history and importance, just a single look towards the middle would showcase the face of the man she stood beside.
