[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,420,true] PRESTO Au'Garumo's defense was on point; however, the swordsman was not so easily dispatched. Even though the man was powerless to stop the thrust he had launched; He COULD use the momentum from it to his advantage; and invariably he did so. His left hand, which he had braced against the blade to keep it straight, now flexed and pressed taut against a bar that ran through a hollow in the back of the blade; essentially a secondary handle. His other arm would likewise pull up upon the hilt, driving the tip of the blade down into the terra-cotta roofing tiles - a brace which he'd use to push against as he rotated his hips and straightened his body; aiming to lift himself up and over the young hokage, literally using his sword to flip overtop of the man. The kunai did hit him, however, despite his movements, but instead of impaling him fatally, it merely blossomed a wound a few inches long across the portion of skin where the blade had touched. All of this, of course, happened far faster than even Au'Garumo's eyes could predict. Not only this, but the counter-attack that was to follow would likely have escaped his eyes as well, as the massive man completed the procedure; gravity pulling him forward and his arms now wrenching his sword from the tile, while his now-wrighted body launched into a horizontal spin, bringing his sword around from behind the kage to cleave his head from his shoulders. Given his natural speed, he assumed it would hit; he had an advantage over the Ninjutsu wielding Hokage, after all. He wasn't prepared for the clang of steel that rang out in the air. Another blade had matched his, and was pressing back against it with surprising force. "You WILL NOT HARM the Hokage!" Hawk's voice was absolutely venomous as he stood between Au'Garumo and what almost certainly would have been his death. You could feel the rage boiling inside of him, almost like an aura that exuded from his every action. The grip on his Ninjato was loosened just a bit to give his foe a hint of perceived leverage, before Hawk was striking full out; again and again he brought his blade forward in a rush of sparks and cuts and blood as the Blue-haired swordsman struggled to keep up his defense, parrying what he could and backing away grudgingly whilst looking for an opening. Meanwhile, Arashi, you notice that the man to the east has finished his handseals. Your eyes percieve chakra forming in the air in a great torrential cone-shaped wash as it suddenly starts rushing towards your brother, despite it having no apparent physical form. Grunts and cries of pain behind you inform you that Agata has struck and likely killed yet another one of the invaders; which one, you cannot tell, though you hear a great roar of flames behind you and a grunt of pain from her. What's more, you think you hear footsteps rushing behind you, but you can't be sure. They sound about ten meters off, but they're closing quickly. Furthermore, the man who just attacked your brother has now spotted you and started another string of seals! The battle churns on, becoming nigh overwhelming. What do you do as fate draws you ever closer to its climax? made by renni | [atrb=valign, top] GM |
Kagirinai Hagane Hitosashi (Endless Steel Dance)
Rank: S
Type: Offensive / Taijutsu / Kenjutsu
Range: 0 - 5 meters
Chakra: High x3.
Special: Can only be used once per thread.
Description: Commencing from a standing position, the practitioner gathers a vast amount of focus into their mind, prepared to end the lives of those before him. Then, once the user has unsheathed his blade and focused his chakra into his body, the user then lunges forward rapidly, initiating a sequence of up to ten rapid, but precise attacks. The user and his blade moves like a storm, flashing from one attack to the next relentlessly, the opponents being unable to trace one indistinguishable attack from the next. This is one of the ultimate attacks of Kenjutsu, and relies on complete focus in order to perform the blur of motion correctly. Thought of as the antithesis of 'Hitosashi Tenrai', the two techniques have been known to completely counteract eachother, leaving behind an amazing spectacle of sparks and sword clashes.
Domain: Kenjutsu. Battōjutsu 'S'. 'Sanjuu Kenippen (Triple Blade Slice)'.
Kamaitachi (Cutting Whirlwind)
Rank: C
Type: Offensive.
Range: See special!
Handseals: 9 [ None with fan ].
Chakra: Mid.
Special: Can capture up to 1 victim in a mini tornado finisher, plus one more each time retrained up to a maximum of three. This technique requires no hand seals when used with a fan type weapon; however, takes half a post to charge if used with said weapon. Distance at which the blast can travel and cover depends on the user's Kiroku Gaijuu range.
Description: This jutsu was brought to fame by a legendary Suna shinobi from long ago, and was named after a mythical creature able to command the winds on a whim. After channeling wind chakra at either their weapon, the user swings it around and brings forth a most intense tornado, coming out from the weapon. Once it strikes the opponent, the tornado tips upward and takes the user up, keeping them imprisoned by the strong currents, and delivering multiple waves of cutting/slicing damage onto their bodies, as well as dropping them hard onto the ground afterward.
Domain: Fuuton. Kiroku Gaijuu 'C'.
