His complexion is very fair; pale with tight, smooth, alabaster-esque skin. A significant, albeit abstract element of Haru's physicality is the celestial, otherworldy aura he emanates, which, in the past, has had the power to leave those new to his presence chilled, even intimidated; his divine white eyes, entrancing, spectral appearence, and noble disposition all work to complement and enhance this overwhelming, atmospheric quality.
[anatomy] — Haru's lengthy, pale-blond hair is fairly dense, while still soft to the touch. It's usually worn in a simple, loose ponytail, infrequently let down, that can occasionally be seen braided in the same loose fashion, with a few keen tresses of hair falling to frame his face on either side; his thin, sharp eyebrows are composed of this same pale-blond. The epitome of nimbleness and dexterity, Haru maintains a very slender, lean build in an attempt to stay as light-weight and agile as possible. While other taijutsu users require strength and size, the Hyūga's Gentle Fist assaults involve chakra-imbued finger taps and palm thrusts, rendering extra weight and muscle useless. [apparel1] — Individualizing himself from his peers, beyond anatomy, would be the youth's unique wardrobe. [accessories] — In terms of accessories, the youth will periodically wear a pair of shark tooth drop-earrings [x], however can always be spotted wearing a steel ring with the kanji for 宗家 (Soke, Main House) emblazoned in black, along with nails painted in this same black. He keeps a smaller, dark-clothed version of the Kumo hitai-ate fastened around his left upper-arm, usually hidden behind his coat, though at times will wear a miniature version of this on his wrist as a bracelet. He is commonly seen with a chokūto sheathed at his hip, while carrying the rest of his tools in a small pack located a few inches behind the side of his waste, and two kakkō hidden underneath the sleaves of either forearm. [combative] — If leaving for a mission, the Kumo-nin dons an outfit much more strategic and combat-oriented than regular attire, all-black jedaigeki robes [x]. Although appearing natural, the harmonious component of his impassive demeanor truthfully isn't, acting as more of a facade than anything else; seeing that, although his expression and body language both emanate tranquility, his mind could quite possibly be contemplating your demise. Rarely seen losing his temper or even making a mistake, Haru’s equanimity, self-discipline, and supreme control over his own emotions and behavior in even the toughest of situations exist seemingly unmatched. [solitary] — While often viewed by others as an introvert, Haru is, in truth, confident in himself as a person and his skill as a ninja – the loner aspect of his personality in reality not resulting from a low self-esteem, but rather, having lived peerless his entire life, his unhealthy obsession with the ninja arts, and the assuming of several false identities over a span of three years. He’d been glued to the dojo and library from an early age, missing out on a regular childhood as he’d instead devote these years to nonstop research. While young, the combination of constant, rigorous Jūken training and his separate, extensive studies at the academy had allowed no time for friends; consequently inciting a butterfly effect, the boy growing up content with and preferring to be alone. A curse accompanying the selling of his soul to ninpō.
[brilliant] — Perhaps the most remarkable, noteworthy aspect of the cloud-nin's is his phenomenal, awe-inspiring intelligence. Genius, prodigy, mastermind – over the years, these are words that have been used to depict the level youth. Coupled with common sense, as well a clear, sharp mind, he is capable of reading and solving problems promptly with logic regardless of whether he’s involved in intense combat, surrounded by a crowd of chattering people, or even amid moments of extreme pain. Demonstrations of this intellect during missions, among other tasks, has even earned him a heading position among Kumogakure no Sato's newly assembled data & intel division; wherein, upon having his eclectic skill-set completely assessed, he'd record over a 200 on the IQ segment, a score regarded as immeasurable intelligence.
[deceptive] — Resulting from years spent as a nuke-nin – disguising himself under different aliases, relying upon his own resourcefulness to survive, influencing town officials with sly words and cunning – Haru has become a master of deception. Manipulative and misleading, he is now able to utilize the skills employed during that stealthy, undercover lifestyle in his everyday routine as a ninja. Without a doubt, it’s become a hopeless feat attempting to figure out whether he's telling the truth, lying, or, for that matter, any certain emotion he’d be currently feeling; moreover, with his always impassive expression, he has trained his visage in appearing as impossible to be read. Making use of his extreme self-discipline, Haru is capable of maintaining this deceptiveness regardless of an event’s significance or consequences.

[autonomous] — Having raised himself the entirety of his life, both in the leaf and the wild, the prodigious youth has grown to become overly independent, whether it be socially or intellectually, and completely self-reliant. Not only does he function unrestrained by his peers, but in addition has no problem standing up for what he believes is right. Isolated throughout his existence, Haru’s courage and fearlessness would both be forced out at an early age, as he'd have his will to live tested years before the majority of his peer-group could have thought to imagine it; evident as well in his Jūken training, as he’d eagerly spar with the Hyūga twice his age and size. Acting independently and without fear has played a crucial role in life, this ability to thrive on his own and without inhibition a key factor in the shaping of his past.
[voracious] — As a kid, passing out in the dojo following days upon days of training, Haru has always been a focused, disturbingly covetous ninja. His relentless pace, drive, hard work, and everything else in correlation with his training all originating from the passion he carries for combat and the ninja arts in general. Whereas some may find their drive and inspiration through goals or their peers, the young Hyūga is naturally passionate about and engrossed with his craft, stimulated and encouraged equally by both his fanatical desire for omnipotence and the fact that he finds training and learning new things to be extremely enthralling. His everyday thoughts are convoluted by his want to constantly improve, this vehement aspect of his character another which has taken a primary role in shaping his past.
[resilient] — Lastly, the adolescent Hyūga's tenacious, unremitting resilience should be noted, as, regardless of any obstacle or setback placed before him, the youth has always managed to endure through it and emerge victorious. The inexorable youth entrusts reliance in the fact that his perseverance is unrivaled, determined and insistent regardless of help or support. While certain traits may have been acquired, this is one that would innately exist within Haru, evident even as an infant, as he'd fight off a sickness that should have resulted in death. Witnessing the malicious manner in which their clan was being run, the elite duo had committed mass murder, killing Hyūga and Konoha-nin alike before disappearing altogether. Their ambition had been to raise Haru apart from the praetorian Leaf, and their clan's own draconian manner; however, of course, their plans would be cut short. Hunted vehemently by the Hokage's special forces, a legion of anbu would eventually locate and assassinate the two, taking the Hyūga infant back to his clan following their return.

Understanding the animosity it may have caused, they would condition him to never feel adversely concerning the subject. Through the havoc and turmoil, he’d successfully infiltrate the village’s shinobi records, skillfully expunging any trace of his name. With the patrol busy fending off small attacks around the village, he’d subsequently slip out of the town unnoticed, hiding himself within the forest for several days in the off chance that he’d been followed. His clan would be forced to believe he’d been killed in one of the several battles raging throughout the city, leaving him free of any and all previously held bonds.
[lone nomad arc] — Though it had been his driving force in leaving, once out the boy wouldn't be in much of a hurry to join another hidden village, as doing so would most likely be binding; no, the boy would instead decide to travel the world, curious as to what the varying regions had to offer. It was during this time that he’d take on the alias ‘Haku Shikui’, creating a new identity for himself as he’d meet new people journeying from country to country. His next three years would be spent in disguise, masquerading and manipulating his way into small villages and settlements throughout the shinobi world. He’d work to hone his Jūken fighting style at this time as well, given that conflict amongst other travelers and even nuke-nin would occur often. This lifestyle would be near opposite of the way he’d lived previously, as he’d be forced to rely upon and fend for himself, rather than being provided for.

[land of lightning arc] — He’d be arrested and imprisoned upon successfully reaching the village gates and speaking with the guards. The youth, now ten, would afterward meet face to face with the Raikage, and following a long talk, would be accepted in as a Genin, concurrently rewarded with an apartment and hitai-ate. He’d excel in league with shinobi of his skill level, quickly rising in prestige as a genius, and one of the villages most advanced, experienced Genin, whether it be in a combat setting, or even amid planning tactics and making logical decisions. His next year would be spent training a newly awakened raiton release, while additionally soloing a copious amount of missions; this combined with his ethereal aura and godly, all-seeing eyes would too bring about his moniker ‘the hidden cloud's celestial hawk’.
Months would pass; having held the rank of Genin for several years, and following a full year of residency and missions within the Hidden Cloud, Haru would finally decide it time for advancement. With word that the third annual Chūnin Exams would be nearing shortly, he'd spend the month prior in training - honing his skill as he would prepare himself for what he expected to be one of the most grueling obstacles he'd have yet to face. Taking place within Mizu no Kuni, each contestant would be thrown into a forest and pitted against eachother. While some would come within an inch of death, and other's disappearing altogether, only two shinobi would possess enough skill to triumph; Haru being one, the other a native of the misty land.
[chūnin arc] — Following much celebration and honoring of the successful shinobi, the Hyūga boy would make his way back to Kumogakure no Sato, carrying with him the pride of his village and newly ascertained rank in Chūnin.

While he enjoyed the challenges and thrill given from these means, following three years he’d be ready to move on, no longer wanting to wander the lands, and instead possessing the urge to regain a true purpose in life. The epiphany would hit him during his time stationed within Kaminari, in close proximity to a rumored nearby community quickly rising in rank as one of the world’s strongest. Having assessed the situation fully, he’d do plenty of research on the village, as well as the area in general, afterward deciding to hunt for it. The boy's journey toward his new home would be plagued with bloodcurdling thunderstorms, jagged, rock-strewn mountains, ferocious beasts, and even scavenging nuke-nin – a truly horrific search; however, rather than take it wrongly, he’d be excited, assuming that only the toughest of ninja could have survived within the extreme habitat.
[land of lightning arc] — He’d be arrested and imprisoned upon successfully reaching the village gates and speaking with the guards. The youth, now ten, would afterward meet face to face with the Raikage, and following a long talk, would be accepted in as a Genin, concurrently rewarded with an apartment and hitai-ate. He’d excel in league with shinobi of his skill level, quickly rising in prestige as a genius, and one of the villages most advanced, experienced Genin, whether it be in a combat setting, or even amid planning tactics and making logical decisions. His next year would be spent training a newly awakened raiton release, while additionally soloing a copious amount of missions; this combined with his ethereal aura and godly, all-seeing eyes would too bring about his moniker ‘the hidden cloud's celestial hawk’.
Months would pass; having held the rank of Genin for several years, and following a full year of residency and missions within the Hidden Cloud, Haru would finally decide it time for advancement. With word that the third annual Chūnin Exams would be nearing shortly, he'd spend the month prior in training - honing his skill as he would prepare himself for what he expected to be one of the most grueling obstacles he'd have yet to face. Taking place within Mizu no Kuni, each contestant would be thrown into a forest and pitted against eachother. While some would come within an inch of death, and other's disappearing altogether, only two shinobi would possess enough skill to triumph; Haru being one, the other a native of the misty land.
[chūnin arc] — Following much celebration and honoring of the successful shinobi, the Hyūga boy would make his way back to Kumogakure no Sato, carrying with him the pride of his village and newly ascertained rank in Chūnin.
The scholarly Kumo-nin's next three years, from ages eleven to fourteen, would be spent solidifying himself as a force within Kaminari – completing missions, travelling throughout the country, developing his own Gentle Fist techniques, working with his lightning element, even obtaining an arcane weapon, and altogether progressing immensely in ability, to a point of peerless skill, possibly comparable to that of the Hidden Cloud's top-tier shinobi.
And yet, even amidst all of this, his story has only just begun.
