I was really looking forward to a delicious lunch, yet it seemed there was still another course of fighting to do. Stopping in my tracks i sighed wearily to the sound of heavy footsteps. Turning around to face the source my eyes widened as they gazed upon a brute of a man. His rough shaven face was beaded in sweat, his eyes small and dark like chips of coal. But behind that powerful physique lacked a lack of spiritual power or any real martial prowess.

”Kukukuku, I guess another one shall bite the dust?”

I gave a low chuckle in response to my partner, he was talking less formally at last. Behind the arrogance i sensed a person i could click with, at least i hoped so. "You know what they say." The giant bandit burst forth toward us brandishing his blade menacingly, with such raw physical power he could no doubt cut right through us. Sadly for him i was rather found of staying whole.

”Damn. . .”

Reacting immediately with the training of a true shinobi my lithe form rushed forth moving just ahead of my partner. My arm would rise and fall in a sweeping motion sending out a potent blast of wind. Dirt and dust and whatever else lay loose upon the ground in front of me would fly forward with the blast bringing up a large smokescreen. The giant man would be blown back as if he were no more than a small child, a loud crash and a grunt would emanate from within the dust cloud. "The bigger they are the harder they fall" i said hands coming together to prepare another set of kata. My attention shifted back to my partner, hopefully he was using the time i had brought us well.

Highest rank known determines the strength of the winds, the distance at which one can control them, and finally, the speed at which the user can displace them.

Description: Though powerful, Fuuton can become uncontrollable even in the hands of the experienced, forcing its users to focus first on controlling their power in small areas, and then, over time, expanding. As one's experience with the wind release and its control grows, so does the range at which they can become deadly with it.

Special: Produces a 180 degree cone of wind that disrupts all loose footing. Distance at which the blast can travel depends on the user's Kiroku Gaijuu range, halved; speed remains the same as 'Kiroku Gaiujuu' however.
Description: With the user’s weapon in hand or their limb extended, they will channel chakra across it so that when the weapon or limb is swung, a strong wind current comes forth. This current, although not heavy enough to do any threatening damage, can in fact knock opponents over, as well as severe loose sediment across the ground, bring up dust and whatever else lies on the floor. Useful for creating vision inhibiting storms, knocking people off balance, covering one’s tracks, escaping, and many, many more!

~Prepping tech

A loud boom shattered the silence, followed by angry sneering and screeching. My expression remained blank however as my attention turned to my partner who seemed rather uninterested by the situation, it was only a D rank mission after all I supposed. Still it was time to make the most of it, i would be a leaf on the wind.

'Do you have anything to distract it with while I prepare?'

I had already begun to prep a few hand seals as my partner finished speaking, inhaling and moving ahead of my partner as I did so my emerald eyes would twinkle in the dim light as the crazed animal came ever closer toward us it's heart no doubt set on ripping out our innards and feeling the warmth of our blood on it's hands. But not today. I unleashed a powerful blast of wind from my mouth, it shot forth quickly easily intercepting the animals attack. The beast had nearly reached us only to be blown far back, it crashed back against it's cage with a loud thud.

Smiling happily at my work I eyed the beast who had struck the cage with force, it looked rather dazed and as it rose it had a slight limp, that was enough. Poor thing just didn't stand a chance. Turning my gaze to my partner I gave him a cheeky wink. "I'd say it's distracted" I said, moving to stand behind him. I was interested to see what sort of attack my partner was about to unleash.
