The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
I'm rather enjoying this village. I only wish to get better at roleplaying so I want to roleplay with everyone. Even if I lose I will fight friend or foe in the dojo. Just don't kill me too harshly. Lol
No one is going to kill you.
I want to kill Tabris, after I do "things" to him.

With the final strike from Oni’s talon the last of Sato’s bandits fell. He had never felt so alive before and little Oni looked so beautiful standing there drenched in blood. At last he’d gotten the chance to satiate his bloodlust. If only those bandits hadn’t already killed those people. He could have bathed his puppet in their blood too.
The mission seemed to be complete, that is until he saw the bandit’s leader. Initially, it seemed Sanu would have no problem killing the man. He yelled at Agito and in typical fashion exploded with arrogant bravado and an assurance that he would be different. Sato would have disregarded him if not for the speed with which he tackled Sanu.
“Oh what’s this?” It was an interesting change for the duo to face an actual challenge. His movements were erratic and speedy for someone of his level. Had Sato been in the same boat as Agito he too would’ve had similar issues he was sure. Even more obvious that they he would be different was Agito’s enraged yell. He was even beginning to think the rogue would be a bit too much for Agito to handle. His chances, however; seemed to look up for the young puppeteer when all of a sudden Sanu vomited a volley of senbon at the rogue.
Just as it seemed Sanu had put this wild dog down the man blocked the senbon with his arm. He was a frighteningly durable opponent who possessed a ninja’s will. And now he appeared to be fighting rather evenly with Sanu. “Let’s put this stray down.” Agito was being overwhelmed and he had no intention letting the boy die before they slept together. Readying the chakra strings in his fingers, Sato prepped Oni to engage. Not wanting to endanger Agito’s life he waited patiently for a signal or some sign for him to attack.
"That’s it.” The split-second confirmation from Agito was all Sato needed. Thinking quickly, Sato engaged Oni’s stealthy function before sending him charging into the rogue’s back. The distance wasn’t that long, so the puppet leapt into the air his spiked digit aimed for the thief’s back. The man was fairly skilled, so he cloaked Oni just in case. “This should be the end.” He uttered as the Puppet sailed towards the thief’s back.

“Shit. I shouldn’t have used it this close.” He said, after recovering from the brief stinging sensation left by Flash Pillar. Moving quickly Sato made his chakra strings dance giving further orders to Oni. Using the spiked tips Oni called hands; Sato moved to attack the closest bandit to him. Within seconds the unlucky enemy felt the sharpened edge of the puppet’s talon puncture his chest, exposing the gooey remains within. With great haste Oni removed its talon allowing the unlucky thief to drop in a heap of flesh at his feet. The strings danced again and the puppet engaged his next victim leading with a horizontal slash the to the man’s midsection. One could almost feel sorry for him, what him still being blinded and all. All that remained of him from that point on were two parts, both soaked in blood.
A second target appeared, or rather a coward appeared, considering he was running away possibly hoping that the feast provided buy his friends would give him appropriate cover. Unfortunately for him he was, but a quick leap away from little Oni who simply jumped into the air, with his talon aimed at the man’s head. Landing only a few feet away from the then headless rogue, the tiny terror cast what remained of his skull from its hand.
There were still so many more people to left to kill and not wanting to waste a minute longer of this good time, he directed Oni into a trio of bandits still foolishly rubbing their eyes. They never saw it coming, leading with a horizontal slash that claimed his first victim, ending with a vertical slash that separated the final bandit into two even sliced pieces.
“He seems to be enjoying himself.” Looking over at Agito, Sato wondered chuckled to himself. Even if Agito was loud, he could at least appreciate a good slaughter. “He will make a pretty fine Mist ninja with a murderous streak like that. “

Sato simply chuckled at the sight of Agito’s rage. He was starting to grow on the boy after all. Typically Agito would have bombarded him with anger and venom, but this seemed more like an attempt to keep his emotions hidden. Perhaps the genin was ready to reciprocate Sato’s earlier advances. Sato was a firm believer in pleasure over business after all, at least when he was exceptionally aroused. Realistically speaking, sex would probably have to wait until Sato could further breakthrough his defenses. Sato thought of himself as a different kind of evil, slow and steady, with a silk tongue and a cute face. He likened himself to a slow acting poison that eased into the veins breaking down its victim from within.
Not to mention both of them were quite anxious to slaughter their first lambs. It would be his first attempt to test Oni’s combat capabilities out on human targets instead of the various animals loafing about Kiri. Human anguish was unique and something stray dogs simply couldn’t produce. And it wouldn’t be much longer until his sick fantasy came to life, at the expense of evil doers anyway. Agito, however; seemed to be forgetting that as he looked to be trapped in his own world.
“Is that a house?’ An interesting sight broke the silence of their lengthy walk. It was the remains of a shack sitting ugly amidst the vast expanse of Kiri. The bodies strewn about within made for an even more delightful sight. “Who doesn’t love a good barbecue?”’ Almost as if without realizing it Sato proved how much of a gigantic dick he could be. He didn’t even care enough for the young child that had also been slain. Not that it mattered because soon their murderers would be joining them in the afterlife. Without hesitation Agito moved forward before
“Fucking idiot” Agito didn’t even give them a chance to plan any strategy out. He just charged headlong into them like a bull. Thankfully, they were just bandits and carried little threat potential. And within seconds their leader made himself known. He was a cocky bastard who thought his gang could stand a chance against shinobi.
“Agito look away.” He shouted before dispatching his puppet. the rushing bandits had closed in enough to where he could execute his flash pillar. But not without covering his own eyes.

“You are so cute when you are angry” .Was his only response to the boy’s remark. He knew it’d enrage Agito even more and it was amusing to see him blow up. He hadn’t known Agito for very long, but he knew how to push his buttons fairly easy. It not that he didn’t enjoy Agito’s company,, he just preferred it when the boy’s venomous tongue was directed at someone else. Coming to a stop it appeared they had arrived much sooner than he thought. When Agito informed him of the direction they were going, a rush of excitement shot through Sato’s body.
“Playtime’s over I suppose.” Since it was getting close to serious time Sato removed a single scroll from his hakama. “Time to go to work, Oni” His voice while still reflective of its owner signature apathy wasn’t laced with insults or sarcasm. And with great haste he released oni.

“Eh, fine I am coming.” After catching the scroll, Sato quickly ran over its contents. A smirk grew on Sato’s face after he’d had his fill of the scroll. “We are getting paid to have fun? I like this.” He was not only being paid some decent money, but he got to kill some bandits too. What a lucky day, he’d finally be able to test out his puppet’s capabilities on moving targets. The best part about it was that he wasn’t even fighting ninja, which meant he could have as much fun as he wanted. “I will fuck you later.”
He said to the older woman before departing off to parts unknown with his partner. “You didn’t even threaten to kill me this time. I think I am starting to grow on you.” He said to Agito with a toothy grin. In truth, he quite liked Agito’s rather blunt and hostile manner, if only because his reactions were so damn funny.
“Am I late? My you have a nice ass.” The usually indifferent ninja wasn’t quite so indifferent when it came to certain things he liked, and he liked her. “Agito, hand me that scroll.” Quickly reverting back to his apathetic demeanor, took a brief tour of the surroundings with his eyes. It was a fairly bland sight to behold, but he wasn’t here for the scenery anyway. He just wanted Ryo and the chance to bath his puppet’s hands in blood. Agito, most likely felt the same and probably would have done the same to Sato given the chance. Still, he’d rather have Agito as a partner than the idiot genin that made up about 90% of the village.
“Hey, you single?’ Switching his focus quickly back to the woman, Sato was rather interested in her. He had plans to get drunk and have some fun, and since he couldn’t do that he’d at least have some fun. The woman maintained a degree of professionalism and just simply said “Yes, but you are a little too young for me.” She followed with an uneasy chuckle. “Suit yourself, but better me than that necrophile Agito.” His retort while mean was surprisingly dull.
“On my way” He said before returning Oni to its scroll. Apparently the two genin were going on a mission, something he hadn’t planned to do today, but ryo is ryo. “It looks like I’ve been drafted.” His tone was low and filled with same amused sarcasm he’d carried around him since The day was turning out to be far more interesting than he thought. Sato had never met a man with a similar soul to himself, or even one he found remotely attractive. Today he’d encountered both of those at once and couldn’t help, but feel a rush of excitement and even happiness. He loved the idea of being with someone like him, even if Agito was a “loudmouth”. “Not that it mattered since he made up for it in other ways and appeared to have something akin to a brain.
“Clearly, this is the start of a beautiful friendship.” His words were filled with an easily detectible mix of humor and sarcasm. Sato was starting to find the humor in this situation making it much easier to deal with Agito’s anger. And besides, his snipes pissed Agito off, proving that getting even was far more satisfying than getting mad. The short walk to the shore was rather short and not too bad. All they needed to do was
“Oh my, so you do have a darker side to you, eh? Well, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t looking forward to liberating my enemy’s heads from their bodies.” The idea of running his puppet through another human body inspired a smirk. Still, Sato knew he’d have to leash his more sadistic instincts for the time being. “Oh and no need to worry about making a mess, we are ninja after all.” Smirk intact Sato was starting to enjoy this Takumi fellow the more they spoke with each other. Thinking back to his days in the academy, he’d never encountered fellows as complicated as Takumi. He was clearly much more ruthless than his demeanor implied, but had the sense to know when and when not to let it show. “By the way, mind telling me some things about you? We are friends now after all.” Unique men like Takumi interested Sato the most.
Before Sato could receive an answer from his partner, a deafening boom within the warehouse stole his attention. No doubt it was the work of Takumi’s bugs. With an eyebrow pushed up, Sato could only wonder what surprises awaited him within. “I wonder what they found.”’ He queried inwardly, a curled finger resting comfortably on his chin. He wouldn’t have to wait much longer thanks to quick reporting of the bugs. Of course since he lacked the abilities of his partner the bugs message left him puzzled, but Sato wouldn’t show it. No need to ask questions that Takumi would answer for him. He would just stand and wait patiently for the insect’s revelation.
“There is a mine field in there? At least we know what we are dealing with.” More interested than anything else, Sato secretly wished he had this guy designing his puppets, at least their weaponry. Sadly, he had no time to daydream about the possibilities because just as the genin informed him about the minefield, he was bombarded with even more information. These bugs were even cleverer than he originally thought. Not only could they detect traps, but they were capable of creating complex maps like this on their own. “Clever bugs”. Sato whispered to himself after Takumi told the genin of his plan.
The young boy’s scheme seemed simple enough and while Sato was more than capable of sneaking around. Suddenly a thought occurred to him, namely weren’t they supposed to disable all of the traps? “I assume when we pass this little minefield I will be expected to have my puppet disarm, correct? ” Sato reminded Takumi, but no doubt the boy genius had already taken this into account. Still, there was no harm in asking, right?
"But you know what? As for as much time and effort we'll be putting into this at least it's a challenge and the pay is good. It's a much better feeling than running the lowly errands for minimum pay they give most ninja. These missions are reviewed on our performance, and it can't hurt to remind the military why it's time for a promotion!"
“Indeed” He said with a grin. The idea of a promotion was always nice to hear, especially when it meant advancing to Chunin. And if he were capable of making such a leap in so little time he’d be one step closer to the infamy he so desired. Of course this would wait until after he passed the minefield. Much like Takumi, Sato and his puppet easily dodged the mines waiting to blast them both into nonexistence. “Well, this was fun.” This was quite the change of pace from the majority of assignments Genin were normally given. Such menial bullshit task were for dullards and if he had no desire to take part in them even if it meant risking his life.
Returning to his seat on the rock beside him Sato simply rolled his eyes at Agito’s ravings. Typically, Sato would’ve blown him off at this point, but the genin’s sadistic nature and looks aroused him greatly. Still, Agito’s rants were annoying him to no end. This kid had way too much rage built up in him. In fact, Sato wouldn’t have been surprised if he exploded right then and there. Annoyed, but clearly aroused as the bulge hiding beneath his robe would attest. Sato simply drunk in the words that he’d cared to listen to while ignoring Agito’s rage spewage.
He’d laughed inwardly at the thought of this imagined advantage of knowing the other’s name. Only if the two meant more to each other or the world for that matter, would such details be worthy of little more than a chuckle. Another thing that irritated him was this lunatic’s preference for screaming when directly in front of someone. Admittedly, such scenarios were par for the course when it came to Mist. He wondered to himself if the other villages were filled with such obnoxious and insane people. Then again they were also known for being weak and he had no desire to live with weaklings either.
“Fine, my name is Sato. Now you have your imagined advantage over me. And stop yelling at me, I am sitting directly in front of you. There is no need to scream at someone who is directly in front you.” Finally fed up with Agito’s expressions of frustration, Sato shot back, his usually calm demeanor breaking under the scrutiny of Agito’s tantrum.” Also, no, my clothing has nothing to do with anything. I am as black as the fucking night genius. Lighter clothing makes this sun much more bearable. Sadly, the same can’t be done for your personality. “As if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders Sato felt his natural serenity return to him. “I am, however; always in the business on acquiring money. Money, after all, is the only thing that matters in this bland existence. If you are serious about getting some ryo I am all ears.”
With little else to add Sato just nodded his head in agreement. Ninja missions often turned out to pose greater danger than orgionally expected and this would be no different. Thankfully Sato had the luxury of getting partner up with an Aburme. His plan seemed smart and straight forward and with the attachments lining Oni’s body he was sure the puppet could do the job. The only thing that mattered was seeing to it that he didn’t lose his creation to an explosion, or himself for that matter. All Sato needed to do was guide his puppet carefully to the exposed traps and disarm them.
“What is my story?” Sato waited a bit before replying as he thought of the best way to answer Takumi’s question. Not wanting to look too strange, he simply told him that he was a genin, all the while making sure to avoid admitting how little experience he had. There was no need to shake his partner’s confidence in him, and besides, discretion was the better part of valor. Instead he just told the lad a few vague things such as him being a puppeteer, his rank, his family and younger brother. If things progressed in a more favorable direction he could perhaps open up a bit more. “Since we are sharing what’s yours? Your appearance suggest a meaner personality , but you are quiet pleasant and professional.”

“Putting a kimono on a tree stump isn’t exactly what many would call a beautiful creation.”Sato manipulated the puppets spiked digit into a gesture that mimicked a dismissive wave of the hand. He wasn’t at all impressed by his new friend’s little doll. “It’s cute, but it’s rather one-dimensional to be honest.” With a few slight movements of his left hand the chakra threads dangling from Sato’s fingertips danced. Oni came alive again, this time he didn’t simply stand, but shifted his hips to the side and attempted to run his claw down the other puppet’s kimono clad chest.
”Oni is an exotic beauty whose form can be appreciated on many levels, from simple elegance to dangerous beauty.” Another flick of his left wrist and the puppet batted an eyelash at his wooden rival, as if to enforce Sato’s point. The shinning brilliance above them filled the jewels on his puppet’s face and claws with a sparkling illumination. Clearly thinking himself the superior craftsman Sato felt he’d won their little contest. Most young puppeteer’s only created puppets for the sole purpose of intimidation, but he created a visual feast.
“Anyway, what’s your name? And what did you want? None of the worthless people in that village ever come down here, so it makes for rather enjoyable solitude.” Despite Sato’s question he pondered on why this rough albeit cute boy would even be out here. Sato was just a genin and one of little importance, so outside of just robbing him there was no value in the boy being here. At least he wasn’t a chunin looking to pick a fight if Agito’s age was any indication of his rank.

After taking the scroll from Takumi, Sato took a moment to reflect on its contents. Reading over the scrolls contents it didn’t seem as if he would be facing any powerful foes, just some traps to be disabled. His only concern was helping to make sure he nor his young friend were harmed or worse. Luckily, his partner was a clever fellow and not a hot head. Of course being an Abrume tact and strategy comes with the territory. He even concocted a rather clever plan using the insects that poured from his body. Strangely, he wasn’t alarmed by such a sight, although; he attributed this to being desensitized to the many weird fellows in Mist village.
“Sounds simple enough, but then I suppose if it were that simple it wouldn’t be a B ranked mission. Anyway, Oni here should be able to handle the job. He was built with a greater focus on combat, but disabling traps shouldn’t be too large a task. The name is Sato, btw. ” Patting his puppets head, the young genin was ready and willing to play his part. Oni was also very small and nimble, which would greatly help their chances of disabling the traps. "Just tell me when and I will send this guy on his way."
