"Let's try to do this the easy way, alright?"

Of course. They wanted the location of my home village, Kumogakure. If I did choose to snitch, misfortune would likely haunt Cloud in the coming days, but at the same time I also wanted my own life spared. Agitated, I jerked my chin away from the masked shinobi's grasp and faced the wall. He sure as hell didn't have to touch me to get the coordinates.

"Give me your map, creep."

Afterward, I'd reluctantly mark where the estate of Lightning was hidden. It was done so in a rushed fashion, for I couldn't wait to be deserted by these two misfits.

Whoosh!

Good thing I looked over my shoulder. The first guy I'd seen had vanished. I glanced back just in time to notice him flying toward me - and boy was he coming fast! Faster than fast actually, he came at me with speed akin to a shooting star. I guess I missed the part where he took off his ankle weights, but that was beside the point now, I needed to react with at least some sort of finesse. The incoming super kick I managed to barely dodge by use of a simple side-step - there was also a bit of a crouch I added to get out of the way of his leg. Had I not seen the blur of motion behind me I would have certainly been in for a world of pain. In turn, as I went for the ground my left arm arced up and jolted to life with Raiton energy that required no seals to perform. While speedy Gonzalez went shooting past me he'd likely be struck in his lower region by a bolt of lightning. It probably wouldn't hurt much but at least I'd gain more time to evacuate. Whether or not his leg would go numb or not was of little importance to me; I took the next fleeting second to flash step 10 meters diagonal in the direction I'd been headed anyways. This movement came swift, and to accompany it my right arm fumbled around behind me to grasp two bomb laced kunai, which were held side by side. For better or worse the flash step carried me off of the edge of the cliff; I plummeted down the great slope and came down facing the others, the chakra on my soles keeping me alive. It was a long, backward skid down the mountain that came next. Still, I watched like a hawk, for they were bound to pursue.

Like geez, could I get a chance?

Danpen Inazuma (Shooting Thunder)

Meant more as a reactionary technique than a main avenue of offense, this jutsu allows the user to essentially shoot out small lightning bolts from a free hand to anyone within a small range. This requires no seals to conjure, and can be shot out from one’s appendage during the most heated of combat. The damage is light and the bolts shoot off in a relatively straight line, at rapid speeds.

Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction.

Note: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.

He chuckled at the offensive stare Jun gave in return - open mouth and all. She'd gone soft. Finally, the youth capped his bottle and hiccuped, raising both arms as a sign of truce toward his little sister standing not too far away. "Hey, just sayin'. If I was a Kage, I know I wouldn't."

She was tapping her foot. "Well you seem to be doing just fine now, slob. Ready to go now? We've got quite a hike ahead of us."

Not thinking about Leonus Akegarasu, Kou stiffled the boner rising in his boxers. It was inappropriate, but hell, he couldn't keep his mind off of his mistress back in Amegakure to save his life. Another swig of sake and he went back to caring about what Jun had to say.

"Take it easy, alright? It'll be me who has to take care of you cause you're too hung over to function in the morning."

He was a complete and utter mess.

Kou, in his usual drunken stupor, studied the grave before him, tears sliding from his eyes. Under normal circumstances, this was no way for a man to act, however these weren't normal circumstances at all. The world had gone cold. A black sleeve wiped clean the water-works from his face; he sniffled, feeling shameful for showing such weakness in front of his favorite sister. She, Miyako Jun, stoodby patiently to his rear, allowing big brother his moment of sorrow. She smiled weakly, overlooking a cliffside contained within the beige outback of Tsuchi no Kuni. She was thrilled to have him back, as it'd been years since she'd last laid her ocean eyes upon him, but to see him so sad made her loathe her former village all the more. Out high in those crude mountains, a plain mound of dirt accompained by an elegant katana was given as final resting place to the former Sandaime Tsuchikage. A measly grave away from the village - that was all. Kou took another heavy swig from the small flask he was holding. Sake, his preferred drink, was what was stored within. His gloved hand was trembling, and as a matter of fact, his entire body was shaken under the harsh reality he'd came so far from Kaminari to face. For a moment the youth turned to face his sibling, his pupils dark and brooding. He held out his cup to her, muttering but one sloppy question.

"Want a sip?"
