DESCRIPTION a very common seed produced in the few forests of kaminari no kuni. Used to grow the stranded oak, a massive tree which is normally grown in the valleys of kaminari countryside. These seeds are distinct in their pure white appearance which is often hidden behind a film of dirt. the tree itself is similar to most other oaks however is often distinct in it's pale beige bark, which is uncommon in many species of oak. the utmost unique portion of this tree is that unlike many species which surround it, the stranded oak is said to drain the chakra of those who touch it, making it impossible for many ninja to climb. this seed allows the use of the 'stranded oak technique.'

DESCRIPTION a very common seed produced near the shores of kaminari no kuni. used to grow the tower willow, a massive tree which is normally grown in the southern seaside of kaminari no kumi. these seeds are distinct in their star shaped appearance which is very unique to those unfamiliar with the species. the tree itself is similar to most other willows however is often distinct in it's incredible height and branch length. the utmost unique portion of this tree is that unlike many other willow species, the tower willow is said to be capable of growing at an incredible rate by absorbing water. this seed allows the user of the 'tower willow technique.'

HON KASHI NO JUTSU stranded oak technique

DESCRIPTION by sending chakra into the ground, the roots of the plants are converted into raw materials. this technique allows for a building to be constructed, by forcing accelerated growth. just like with the four-pillar prison technique, the size and shape of the building are taken from the user's imagination or memories.

DESCRIPTION after performing the needed seals, the user shapes wood cells in their arms into countless senbon, and then swings them both. taking advantage of that formidable centrifugal force, the fired spikes of wood change into dangerous weapons. after launched, the spikes will enlarge into an incredible size, becoming an array of wooden stakes to impale their enemy from afar.

If this is going to drain a users chakra make this multi-ranked with the ranks determining how quick the chakra is drained. I'd say make the quickest possible time-possible to leech a persons chakra two posts, increasing whenever someone has a higher tier pool.

Not really feeling the fact that you have the potential to make anything out of chakra draining wood with this technique, especially for low chakra cost. Increasing the chakra cost would make this less OP considering the fact that, if you have enough EXP, a Genin could technically be able to drain S-ranked chakra in two turns from any of his opponent's by lodging a wooden senbon (the equivalent to a splinter) into their body.

Which brings me to my next point. Our chakra consumption system doesn't directly correspond with ascending ranks, meaning that an S-rank could cost anywhere from Low to High Chakra. Provide a distinct amount of chakra, from very low to very high/massive, in correlation to the technique's ranks. There should also be some clear distinctions of what can and cannot be absorbed.

Would this technique completely negate the burning effect of a giant fireball if it's constructed of chakra? How about a giant wave of water or a repulsive explosion of pure chakra? Are they resilient enough to withstand the effects of damage AND absorb chakra? If so, how much damage can they withstand before being destroyed?

Is there any particular reason that the Hon Kashi no jutsu doesn't drain the user?

The way I understood it, the drain from the tree was indiscriminate.

because it wouldn't make sense for a character to drain their own chakra. that coupled with the fact that not many jutsu are constructed to harm their creator/user, it should make sense that the user isn't affected.

[1] Coding: Change the coding to be visible in the default skin, its blinding as it as. x3

[2] Seeds: Separate the seeds into their own item thread.

[3] Stranded Oak: Add that this needs to be in physical contact with the enemy to drain their chakra.

[4] Towering Willow: This should cost chakra equal to the technique being nullified.

[5]Wooden Needles: Give this a concrete speed. Preferrably, the user's MR speed.

[6] General: All of the techniques need to fit with the consumption/retraining guide.
